Happy 4th Anniversary Buffalo Bills fans!
benderbender replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
At the time I was a regular Dan Lebatard Show listener. To that point, I had never heard her react to anything quite like that and it was shocking. Every draft since, has been a mea culpa for her. Almost feel bad for her. Almost. But the absolute best is when she is forced to make Josh Allen comps for prospects. -
I don’t trust anything on this board that wasn’t overheard at a high level meeting 😝

He needs to go Beastmode on that lame logo. You could do so much with a Kraken. They did the least possible. The least offensive. The most bland corporate yet vaguely city related. I wanted evil eyes and tentacles sprouting from a space needle or something. But no animal at all. Not even a fun mascot for the kiddos. Swing and a miss.

Gilmore to colts… Bills WERE interested
benderbender replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we only called to ask if he was the same guy. They checked the call log and saw that there was a call from One Bills Drive so the Bills “had interest.” But it was only 30 seconds long. -
Are boneless wings with ranch the best game day dish?
benderbender replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall
You only “need” a condiment if your wings are either too hot or too spicy. If you’re the cook, it shouldn’t be an issue. If not, you should hire a Ken Dorsey-like wing coordinator to facilitate a workable game plan. But it’s always been my personal belief that above a reasonable level of hot, you’re no longer concerned about taste, you’re really low key into…other things. -
I would love to see the Hyde & Poyer tandem in house for the rest of their careers but Rachel Bush is expensive. Rosenhaus is basically working for her at this point. We'll see how much of a baller Beane really is by how he handles this and Edmunds. Just like with Diggs, the market changed unexpectedly and now suddenly Poyer is underpaid. But her since deleted Tweets, and subsequent Rosenhaus hiring are telling.

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
benderbender replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow. So much potential. Saw him play at the Redskins game in 2019. FL driving is high risk to say the least. -
Oh boy. Jon Gruden is really going to get it now. They ignored so many women and read over 20k emails just to get him fired the first time.

The experiment is over. Can’t help feeling underwhelmed. Would really like to know what really happened.

The key words being “a lot.” But if we’re just talking about the GM, he mentioned holding specifically. He really didn’t have to. Could have just said “we don’t have the cap room.”

Fitz will accept the position of federal waterslide safety inspector.

This is difficult. We didn't like the "booming a 70 yard punt twice a year but can be the reason we don't make 3 FGs punter." We tried the "FGs are more important than punts but don't count on 40 yards punter." Maybe there's a middle ground.

His "the decision" planned announcement on his social media was reminiscent of JJ Watt and I was out once I heard. Now I'm just banking that Beane did his due diligence so I'm not proven wrong.

Afc wildcard vs Patriots on nfl network right now

Had Omicron at the time and couldn't have felt any better. -

It's so wildly popular, you can count the companies that have followed his business model on Anakin Skywalker's right hand. Just like with Elon Musk, a healthy dose of skepticism is required in modern times.

Netflix raised prices two times during an economic depression on top of a global pandemic. They realized they were the focus of a locked down nation scared to death and still found the greed deep down inside to hold them hostage with rate hikes. I'm not too optimistic.

McKissinc changes mind, returning to Washington
benderbender replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Getting rid of extra jewelry to fit a super bowl ring is also a pain. Good thing he’ll never know the struggle after that decision. He’s not from DC, he didn’t go to college in the area, and he wasn’t drafted by WAS. He turned down joining the prohibitive favorite team to sign with WAS for the same money he was offered by BUF. If his point was to “test FA” then he failed the test by not asking for even $1 more when he was the most in demand he’s ever been. At this point, I’m not as much disappointed that we missed out on a 3rd down receiving back, than I am concerned that his agent isn’t looking out for his best interest. -
You mean passing on a repentant Mike Vick still in his prime? Ignoring Josh Allen’s racist tweets? Or booing our own players for their political beliefs? Because we’ve been there on all sides.

When i first heard that Trevon wanted to play with his brother, I assumed he wanted Buffalo to trade for him. Why ask your brother to take a step down from a contender, when he could pull you up to the odds on favorite?
