  1. Funny was just discussing this with someone at work trying to figure out why the Bills and others would be trying to ban it. Colleague brought up same point as you" trying to eliminate rugby-style plays. " I wish they would just say that: pushing another player is not a "football" play. Then ban tush push and that rugby running-scrum where OL pushes runners, picks people up, etc. I'd be fine with the ban if that's the reason. But the total lack of injuries, and having McD as the spokesperson is a bad choice for the reasons you stated.
  2. I'd be in. Sounds fun! Always looking for more active fantasy leagues. I'd be interested regardless, but I agree with all of Virgil's points. in terms of vetting players, perhaps there is a way to remove non-active members (people who don't engage in trades, or lineup changes, or don't log on for a certain length of time?). I run a season long league which is easy, just don't invite back. But not sure the method for dynasty, if ownership transfer is possible.
  3. consider it a gift. If the NBA is on, this is better than having that playing in the background? Overall since I don't watch the NBA, I'm not really a fan of this. Thanksgiving makes more sense for Football. Put football on the 26th instead.
  4. Here is one. The first round pick is puzzling. I get DE, but with DT Harmon on the board as well as WR Golden, I'm not sure you pass those guys up for a DE with potential character issues. Round 2, they go with a 3T DT. Also puzzling. The CB pick in Rd. 2 is the only one that makes sense here. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/nfl-mock-draft-2025-7-rounds/1b40b70c0e02597982466b59
  5. injury not due to the play, however: https://www.totalprosports.com/nfl/did-the-tush-push-cause-any-injuries-nfl-data-reveals-no-players-hurt/ (NFL data reveals no players hurt during tush push).
  6. Was it during a tush push or a sneak? Nothing about the "tush push" itself gives someone a wrist injury.
  7. Interesting article here. Basically McD can't figure out short yardage plays despite having Allen against KC. Another MCD Scapegoat, and one that is more detrimental to the Bills than helpful. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2025/4/1/24398423/sean-mcdermotts-support-of-banning-tush-push-may-bite-buffalo-bills-in-the-end?_gl=1*dcw5t8*_ga*OTQxNjE2MTAxLjE3NDM1MTg5NTc.*_ga_2M5GYNY1YS*MTc0MzUxODk1Ni4xLjEuMTc0MzUxOTAxOS42MC4wLjA.
  8. This is laughable by MCD. He's arguing about player safety?? Meanwhile, zero injuries attributable to the tush push. McD couldn't figure out how to do it against KC, so he wants it banned.
  9. I'll take any of (in order of pref) Houston, 49ers, KC, Seattle, Giants, Browns, Chi, Jax, Pats. also willing to take a 2nd team if 32 owners can't be found.
  10. Good stuff here. Thanks! Can Bishop play LB perhaps?
  11. Can’t wait. @VirgilThanks for doing this again!!
  12. Ppl taking less to stay here. It’s awesome. Big testament to the 12th man!!! epic, and deserved, meltdown on this board.
  13. wanted to see what happened if I took a WR first. Here are the results. A bit light at DT, but the Edges and LB look nice. Offense upgrades at WR and RB replacement for Cook. Thoughts? I agree about not trading up in Rd. 2. I also think a guy drafted later like Alexander form LSU could contribute this season. Dane Jackson is a NFL CB2, so I'm really not getting the hate here. With a solid DL, I think safety may be more of an issue. Some nice guys also available later in the draft.
  14. Today from NFL Draft Buzz. Grant and the top WRs were gone by pick 30. Nolen seems like a nice consolation. Harmon was still there, but I'd go Nolen over Harmon. PICK: 30 RND: 1 (BUF) Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss PICK: 56 RND: 2 (BUF) TreVeyon Henderson RB Ohio State PICK: 62 RND: 2 (BUF) Jaylin Noel WR Iowa State PICK: 109 RND: 4 (BUF) Jordan Phillips DT Maryland PICK: 132 RND: 4 (BUF) Billy Bowman Jr. S Oklahoma PICK: 169 RND: 5 (BUF) Tommi Hill CB Nebraska PICK: 170 RND: 5 (BUF) Jack Kiser LB Notre Dame PICK: 173 RND: 5 (BUF) Jack Nelson OT Wisconsin PICK: 177 RND: 6 (BUF) CJ West DT Indiana PICK: 206 RND: 6 (BUF) Howard Cross III DL Notre Dame
  15. Agreed. And unlike Diggs, Cooper has no issue with being WR3 or whatever. Now, it remains to be seen what $$ he is seeking.
  16. I'm beginning to like Mondon as our LB pick. Also love the Higgins WR pick and the Edge picks. On the other hand, I'm beginning to shy away from Harmon. He only has 1 year of productivity in College, and he seems to be more of a 3T than 1T. Would rather take something else there and get his fellow DT Caldwell later in the draft as the 1T.
  17. def worth a UDFA look. The highlights (I know, they are biased) showed the ability to grab RB's who move laterally away. If nothing else, he may occupy the space that frees up Oliver and Groot. On the other hand, as @MarlinTheMagician noted, it's not a good sign a QB just tipped him over. Seems like an OL could do that to him, although he would be coming from a stance and not running.
  18. from NFL Draft Buzz. Wanted to see what happens when taking a WR in 1st. I've seen Burden falling down in several simulators. Here, took him over Grant. Ended up still getting a decent DT haul, but perhaps better getting Grant and then Higgins (essentially trading Grant for Burden). Thoughts: PICK: 30 RND: 1 (BUF) Luther Burden III WR Missouri PROFILE PICK: 56 RND: 2 (BUF) Alfred Collins DT Texas PROFILE PICK: 62 RND: 2 (BUF) Jayden Higgins WR Iowa State PROFILE PICK: 109 RND: 4 (BUF) Zy Alexander CB LSU PROFILE PICK: 132 RND: 4 (BUF) Billy Bowman Jr. S Oklahoma PROFILE PICK: 169 RND: 5 (BUF) Raheim Sanders RB South Carolina PROFILE PICK: 170 RND: 5 (BUF) Jay Higgins LB Iowa PROFILE PICK: 173 RND: 5 (BUF) JJ Pegues DT Ole Miss PROFILE PICK: 177 RND: 6 (BUF) RJ Oben DL-EDGE Notre Dame PROFILE PICK: 206 RND: 6 (BUF) Nazir Stackhouse DL Georgia
  19. this should increase the popularity of the Bills among the NFL's female fans. Those who believe in "The NFL Script" should be happy.
  20. the beauty of this is it should prevent the Pats from obtaining a WR in the draft this year or next. If they draft one, and that person gets targets, the yaps will be incoming all over and a huge distraction for Maye. This is not the same Diggs the Bills signed early in JA's career. Although I guess the Pats* have the money and believe it will accelerate Maye's development, so from that standpoint, it makes sense.
  21. and 2, 8, and 14 have made and/or won SBs in that timeframe. I agree, but needing to hit on the D is getting old, as is needing a WR1.
  22. Kyle Williams is interesting (beyond the name!) because he provides a vertical-speed threat. Although, I fear he may be another guy that can't get open for Josh. See https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Kyle-Williams-WR-UNLV for some analysis. (Also, that website has a cool mock draft of its own at: https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/simulator )
  23. Did the guy ever do the 50 pushups?
  24. Not at Cuse pro day?! Odd it’s so close. Wax could be a nice UDFA. Meeks is also an interesting late WR target.
