27-10 do we cover or vulture it away with a prevent? -

How would you like to be Heath Farwell this week, between the inept punting, and punt returners.... -
That's correct, they are treated like performing artists, and are taxed based on where the game is played, at least for state taxes. To some extent those state taxes can be used as an itemized deduction against federal taxes, but that still only saves them the federal percentage rate of state taxes paid, not the entire amount of state tax paid.

Bills have underperformed this year by 2+ wins
BearNorth replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
League average in one score games is 50%. one team wins, one team loses. In the four McDermott seasons, Bills have played 26 games decided by 8 points or less. we are 12-14 with this year's 0-5 factored in. So before this year, Bills were ahead of the expected outcome by 3 wins (12 wins 9 losses). In games decided by more than 8 points Bills are 27-11 [.711 win % - equates 12-5 in a 17 game season] -
Buffalo Bills players remember the prank played on special teams ace Steve Tasker after his spectacular kickoff return during the team’s come-from-behind 29-23 victory over the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1994 divisional playoffs. That same day, team officials recall that the press box windows were so clouded by condensation that the team bought some deicer and used a large squeegee to repeatedly clear off the 10-foot-high windows. And many fans probably remember that the win sent the Bills to the AFC Championship Game, just one win away from their fourth straight Super Bowl appearance. But the game, played 20 years ago today, on Jan. 15, 1994, found its way into the team’s record book for another reason: The temperature was zero degrees, making it the coldest Bills game ever. The wind-chill temperature supposedly was 32 degrees below zero, although that formula has changed since then. Speaking of bad weather games.

Bills vs. Jets Tickets Selling as low as $8
BearNorth replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
December 28th 1963. Pats at Bills in the Rockpile, AFC Playoff to meet Chargers in the title game. 21 degrees wind chill of 9, tickets were my big christmas present - our seats in the bleachers were formed by pressing a garbage can into the snow since Buffalo had a foot of snow earlier in the week. Makes me think hey, a dome would be good. -
Harrison Philips: how important is it for the Bills to re-sign him?
BearNorth replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jordan Davis will be off the board long before we pick. I'm thinking this guy may be available when we get to pick, and don't mind the Alabama pedigree Phidarian Mathis, DT, Alabama Height: 6-4. Weight: 320. Projected 40 Time: 5.46. Projected Round (2022): 2-3.. -
It should be noted that the only one of the "ace" quarterbacks noted as having bad games had them in anything resembling yesterday's weather. Rodgers 21-13 loss to the Bills was in 38 degree weather. Every other one of the quarterbacks listed had those days either in a Dome [Brees vs. Falcons] or in weather that Buffalo would consider a beautiful summer or fall day. Yesterday was 26 degrees 11 mph wind, and intermittent snow.

Once again, the front office made this possible. Roberts and Ray Ray are both former Bills, and among the KO return leaders.

I think Josh and Motor got us to the W, but Rodgers has 4 INT's all season, ? how does he avoid getting the ball tipped ?. Something to ponder. -
New Notre Dame HC Marcus Freeman is a Buffalo Bills Alumni…sort of

ND offense is lighting up OK state Defense. Domers have 342 yards & 4TD's passing at Halftime. -
Weather beginning to look interesting for Sunday. http://www.nflweather.com/en/game/2021/week-17/falcons-at-bills Freezing Fog. Wonder how the Falcons, a dome team with basically 0 bad weather games this year will fare in the elements.

All-22 Grades for Bills/Patriots (The Athletic)
BearNorth replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
In 78's case he was overweight and out of shape as a rookie. Rousseau is not even 22 years old, and has limited game experience. He is a prototypical height, weight and speed for an edge rusher, [Davenport is also 6-6 265 and runs a 4.6] but perhaps 78 might be able to coach him up a bit, perhaps with a hometown discount. -
Did Josh Allen go rogue on the 4th and 1 run.
BearNorth replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
PFF named Josh as Offensive Player of the Week for Week 16. Graded at 91.0. -
Not sure I want Motor or Knox out of the game, Knox was a blocking beast against NE, and Motor keeps D honest, and means they have to worry about 2 RB's with Josh.
-
If the following happens - NE is out of the playoffs
BearNorth replied to psuscott16's topic in The Stadium Wall
Assuming we are the three seed, because we have lost to the Titans and likely can't catch the Chiefs, not sure that Indy as a 6 seed is the team we want to host in the playoff first round. They are designed to beat us, esp in bad weather. -
Not to mention Falcons play in a dome. They have played 8 road games to date, 2 in domes [Saints/Cowgirls] coldest temps they have faced are 48 [9 mph wind] in Carolina and 46 in SFO [no wind].
-
Bills and Falcon's have played 10 games against common opponents. Bills are 7-3 with a +141 point differential. Birds are 5-5 with a -45 point differential

Weather is iffy, supposed to be rain/snow in the AM, then temps dropping through the 30's during the game, hopefully the field will not be a skating rink. I think Milano/Neal can manage to keep Pitts under wraps. Pats TE's didn't hurt us. Ryan has taken 11 sacks in his past 4 games. This will be the Lee Smith homecoming game, hopefully he's good for a couple of holding calls during the game.

Beasley has a dead cap hit of $8.4MM as he's under contract through next season, so he's not going anywhere. Sanders is on a one year. I feel a little better about our OL after yesterday, wondering if there's not a sub 4.3 wide out available that will keep defenses honest [modern day Beebe equivalent]. I shudder to think with Josh's arm if he had a wideout with Tyriek type speed what would happen.

This is what they are saying in New England Land

NE dropped at least two INT's that in other years, would have probably been caught. Levi had a drop that would have prevented a TD later in the drive. -
12/26/21 Week 16 Gameday Bills @ Patriots* Postgame Thread

Be interested to know how many of these 12 extended drop backs were due to Josh's mobility vs. what seemed to be better pass protection. -

If we are forced to pass, Moss is supposedly a better blocker in pass protection
