Master of the one yard quarterback sneak for the TD.

Does having Saffold and Quessenberry on the Bills help Frazier game plan for King Henry?

Romo is probably better than CC day in and day out. CC does have the advantage of owning PFF, so access to a lot of material and knowledgeable staff.

We do have what amounts to a "mini-bye" Playing last night 9/8 and then a week from next Monday 9/19, that's 11 days.

Week 1, Bills v. Rams, 09/08/2022, GAME BALLS

LA averaged 27 ppg last year, they scored 10 tonight, and the FG was on a short field. -
Is Allen routinely fooled by pre-snap disguises?
BearNorth replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gabriel Davis' trainer Bert Whigham told PFF's Doug Kyed that the receiver now weighs 227 pounds. Davis is listed at 210 pounds but reportedly played last season around 220. Whigham talked up Davis' weight gain to Kyed: "He’s bigger, faster, stronger. He’s put on muscle. People say that’s too big, but he’s 23 years old. He’s just growing into his natural body. You’re going to see a big receiver." Davis has been used primarily as a deep threat in the Bills' offense, with a rookie average depth of target of 17.4 and a 15.3 aDOT in 2021. In his breakout playoff game against the Chiefs, he saw an absurdly deep collection of 10 targets, at an average depth of 20.5 yards. Davis' added weight is unlikely to change his downfield role, but will instead make it more difficult for corners to break up Josh Allen's deep shots. Davis is a safe bet to remain an inconsistent fantasy option who is dependent on hitting big plays downfield. However, he brings a huge weekly ceiling to the table if he can fully establish himself as the No. 2 option in Buffalo's passing game, which he looks set to do with a good training camp. -

Davis has elite size for a WR. 227 pounds is crossing into Megatron territory. -
Sam Martin in Buffalo on a visit (Signed to a 1 yr contract)
BearNorth replied to Turbo44's topic in The Stadium Wall
Martin averaged about 4 net yards per punt more than Haack did last season, wonder how much is due to the thin air in Denver where he played 9 of the 17 games. -
Most talented player in Bills franchise history?
BearNorth replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw Cookie Play, turned pro in Canada out of high school, after Paul Brown cost him his college eligibility, Played both ways in Canada (MLB on D) and actually was the Bills kicker in '62. A man among boys at the time, same size as the defensive lineman. -
Really, Houston was 31st against the run last year, and the Colts have a guy named Jonathan Taylor. Jerry Hughes is aging and his forte was never stopping off tackle runs.

Brady's wife is worth more than he is. I think you will seem them involved in an ownership situation down the road.

Daryle Lamonica, the Mad Bomber was the Bills punter as a rookie in 1963, 52 punts that year. Replaced by Maguire -

If Kern is signed as a free agent, Tenn is on the hook for any unamortized signing bonus ($550K), and the Bills can negotiate what they are willing to pay, as can any other team. Doubt anyone will trade for a punter under contract with a $2.2mm salary. -

We play the Titans in Buffalo on 9/19 MNF. Food for thought. -
I know Taiwan when he came into the league had a gaudy 4.33 40 time. Blackshear ran a 4.51. Taiwan also has 500k guaranteed, so they won't save any money this year going with the cheaper rookie.

Stonehouse if released, will never clear waivers long enough to get to the Bills waiver claiming position (25th). -

His game salary for home games is not taxed in Tennessee, it would be in NY. I'm sure his agent will be mentioning that. -

Re Kern: Tennessee does not have a state income tax, NY does. So that will factor into his decision. -

Kern as a vested veteran will not be subject to waivers, and can sign with whoever he chooses. Hometown boy with a shot at a ring. Kern's dad was a standout soccer goalkeeper at Buffalo State where he played on the same team as Randy Smith. -
I see on the Bills site depth chart, that they have Rousseau and Von as starters at Edge. I thought that they were both better at rushing from the left side across from the RT.

Hofrichter punted for Syracuse, half his games were in a dome, doubt the winds of November are his strong suit. considering 6 of our home games are from Halloween eve on... -
Kern is actually outperforming the rookie punter Stonehouse in TEN, If the Titans release Kern in a cap move, Bills should sign him, vet presence would steady the current noise.

Here are the preseason stats for the second best punter on the teams that have had for more than one.

I'm old, but I remember when Daryle Lamonica in 1963 was the Bills regular punter 52 punts, 40 yard average, replaced by Paul Maguire the next season.
