  1. Hyde and Poyer in their prime were solid, - their prime has passed. So far Bills haven't done a good enough job scouting and drafting & coaching to replace them.
  2. I find it interesting that both Bosa and Daquan are grading in the top 5 of their positions, and Ed was #1 for the game he played, Groot is in the top 20. Behind them tho, our secondary looks less than a top crew. The only back 7 players who are grade above the midpoint at their position are Taron and Tre White. Benford has had a huge fall off. I think any team with a lot of speed at RB and WR is going to give us problems unless the coaches find a fix.
  3. Where the Fine Money Goes Professional Athletes Foundation (PAF): Supports former players in need through financial assistance for medical expenses and other hardships, as well as providing health screenings and mental health services. NFL Foundation: Provides grants to youth and high school football programs to promote safe and healthy practices, equipment, and facilities.
  4. Syracuse native, Dad was a noted HS hoops coach
  5. Entire family is making the trek. First time in probably a decade. Since wife and I are in our late 70's could be our last foray to the OP. Have to find out from our son where we are sitting, he bought tix the day they came on the market. Go Bills That is proving costly, our O-line seems to be winning the LOS and Cook is quick as a cat to the second level. If DC's creep Safeties into the box, hopefully Brady will capitalize.
  6. Nex Gen stats show Keon's separation was the same as Tyreek's - on much shorter routes. keon also ranks 7th among WR's in catch percentage at 77.8
  7. Yeah and if they were to add him to the active roster and later release him he would have to clear waivers.
  8. I think they were running a dime package, 3 CB's 3 S's 1 LB [Bernard]. Lewis can play both CB and S.
  9. We don't have any wide receivers [perhaps Moore] that would flourish in a deep ball environment. 40 times: Coleman 4.61 Shakir 4.43 Palmer 4.52 Cook 4.42 Moore 4.35 Shavers 4.59 I feel the need for speed
  10. Gilliam leads the team every year in ST snaps. Basically the captain of our coverage teams. Not sure you are going to see a rookie dinged up CB take that workload.
  11. And of course our 3 tech Oliver, who is graded #1 in pro football, sprained his ankle in practice. Hopefully he will be close to 100% when he returns, said return complicated by 2 games within 8 days of his injury.
  12. We have one, he wears #17.
  13. Wondering if Frank Gore Jr might get a call-up?
  14. This thread will age well as Josh and Hawes continue their Vulcan mind meld. Hawes is Prototypical size for a TE, loves to block, is very smart, and I suspect teams are already having to game plan for our three TE set. Pick your poison; and oh by the way Cook is in the kitchen.
  15. Hawes is showing some elite physicality.
  16. I just saw a [hopefully not credible] thing on my feed saying that the Bears are making Tremaine Edmunds available as a Milano replacement. Crossing my fingers this does not have a shred of truth to it.
  17. Apparently the league has him on a short leash after the Brady/Payton tampering violations & fine. Plus there's the Flores lawsuit. They've forced out owners before including Richardson in Charlotte and Snyder in DC.
  18. Game of the Week is clearly MNF, Detroit at Baltimore, one of these two offensive juggernauts is going to be 1-2 after three games. Rams at Philly also a juicy matchup.
  19. I know this is looking ahead, but If the Bills were to secure the #1 seed, Playoffs run through Buffalo in January. Having a stud O-line and 4 guys like Kincaid, Knox, Hawes and Gilliam just speaks to me as a really solid thing to have in the frozen tundra.
  20. Jim Ringo is in the HOF as a player, Hall of Shame as a head coach - 3-20 record
  21. Phins are 30th on Offense, 30th on Defense, 31st on Teams, 32nd when you put everything together. Classic trap game on a short week with several key Bills [Ed, Taron, Cookie] nicked up.
  22. The snap counts would reinforce that observation. We had 307 snap counts for 28 plays, missing one guy.
  23. Dr. Chao was on Sirius yesterday, and thinks 3 months is optimistic for this type of injury. 3 months puts him to week 15, and that's assuming no complications in his recovery, and Burrow has already had a few major injuries since he's come into the league.
  24. Since it looks like Ed O will be out for this game, that looks like the key matchup. I wish our safeties were reliable, longing for Po and Micah in their prime.
  25. Reggie's build is designed to be a lead blocker when you need to get a yard. Built like a block of stone. He seems to be Josh's bestie on the roster. When you have a player like Josh, even in the cutthroat NFL, you get a few that you ask for.
