You mean like beefing up a DL so that they don't have to sell out to stop the run and ultimately get gashed for a 60+ yd TD run every game... ✔️

My first thought upon pulling that up... Mowins (think Seinfeld "Newman")

Apparently he's not a fit for the Jets at CB, though, as he's apparently being shopped. I think you mean Breece.

Fans greeting returning team at the airport (as we do...)

Apples and oranges. The Chiefs were in a mini free fall when we beat them last year before they eventually got back on track, and this year's Bills team hasn't shown the propensity for distraction that plaqued them for the first 3/4 of last season. This was a game between 2 great teams playing good football. This is a much more meaningful win than the one last season, IMO. -
The Bills won yesterday because.... (karma reasons only)

Same Kyle Williams jersey and nasty red Bills hat I always wear. Won't get washed until their luck runs out. Unrelated, my poor dog is not happy with all of the nationally televised games. When I don't have to go to the local Bills backers bar to watch, my viewing habits give her anxiety. When I was yelling at the TV after Jones not getting called for tripping she had a hang-dog look on her face like I was reprimanding her for pooping on the carpet. I think the mere sight of my hat and jersey now gives her PTSD. -

Very educational thread. I may actually have to buy me some beard oil. Does anyone know if your first purchase comes with a lil' ass shirt? -
In fairness, there WERE 6 big mistakes... and one huge ****ing coup... that occured ahead of him.

I reckon I'll some of the biggins

Fortunately he wasn't fully tated with erect havoc. This is family entertainment, after all, not late night television.

That's not a hot take... ...now, this is a hot take. -

My wife saw that, after washing my jersey post-Dolphins loss, I had gotten some mustard on it after the Ravens game. As she was loading it into the washing machine this week I tackled her to the ground and ripped the jersey out of her hands screaming "Only after a loss! NEVER AFTER A WIN!!! NEVER AFTER A WIN!!!". Fortunately this was early enough in the week that she cleared the concussion protocol in enough time that she was able to watch her Saints game, although the first couple of times I heard "Who Dat" yesterday I was worried that there may have been permanent damage. -
I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it. BillsVet, you couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a hot date with a babe... I've lost my train of thought.

Yeah, but he only had 3 catches... -
Moss would have run up the back of his blockers.

Lets talk about the 3 big firsts today.

I think I saw Tre on the sideline in a bucket hat and sunglasses, so hopefully he's helping him break things down in between defensive series. -
So can we count today’s game, or do we exclude this one too because… I dunno… let’s go with Pittsburgh sucks this season? 🤷♂️

OP, it appears you may be the second Einstein in history to have their brain stolen.

I would love to know what big Ted was like in person. I remember he had a Monday bit on Shredd and Ragan and I always used to laugh my ass off when he was on. He seemed pretty candid at a time when that wasn’t common. I remember a story he told about how they used to shriek “Riiiiiicky” when tackling Ricky Willams or when he was at the bottom of a pile because it would freak him out. It was funny at the time… maybe not so much in hindsight, knowing that Williams had horrible social anxiety…

I think suggesting this is somehow politically motivated is projecting your own bias. There are quite a few public stories suggesting Kelly was an entitled ass when he was younger. I have a cousin who met him on numerous occasions in the 90s and 2000s, in both professional settings and in more casual settings. My cousin worked in media and one of Kelly's brothers was a neighbor of a friend of his. He met his father and brothers on numerous occasions, as well. He couldn't say enough nice things about his family, but he didn't care for Jim. He never got into specific details, just said he didn't treat people very well. He loved him as a QB... as a person, not so much. Kelly has gone through a lot since his playing days and by many public accounts is a changed man because of it, but it doesn't erase his past. People who were witness to it aren't obliged to give him a pass.

Used to live down the street from Joe Devlin growing up. He coached my then girlfriend's brother's tee ball team. He couldn't have been a more unlikeable person if he tried. He used to intimidate umpires and parents and was generally an insufferable jerk. He coached a childhood baseball team like a psychopathic meathead. Used to work at a country club that Pete Metzelaars was a member at. He had to duck to miss a support beam walking in the front entrance to the restaurant. He played a fair bit of golf in the offseason. Seemed like a nice guy, but I didn't talk to him a ton. If it wasn't for the fact he was 6'8" with bright red hair you'd never know he was there. He was was very quiet and unassuming. I ran into Antowain Smith at a mall once. I remember being surprised at how big he was in person for a running back. I used to run into Sabres players all the time in my 20's during my bar hopping days. I ran into Jason Dawe and talked to him so many times that he'd say hi to me if he saw me first. The craziest was running into Danny Gare at either Mother's or Fat Bob's one cold winter post-game evening. He was drunk and telling stories to me and my roommate of his time with the Oilers and how he told off Glen Sather. I can still hear him in my head saying "F*** you, Glenn!" as he recounted the story. He then signed a bar napkin and gave it to my roommate for an autograph unrequested. It was a bit surreal.
