Herbert certainly showed a lot of moxie last night. He was clearly in a lot of pain and despite that was able to make those two great throws on the TD drive. I haven’t watched him a ton, but when I have he’s always seemed kind of emotionless. One of the things that elevate Allen and Mahomes is their competitiveness, which is clearly evident in their actions and behavior… their teams feed off of it… Herbert seems pretty vanilla in that regard to me.

All of this was great to see, but what made me the happiest was they did it and didn’t have to sell out to stop the run. That line consistently swallowed ball carriers in the backfield or for no or minimal gain. We haven’t had a line that was able to do that so far in McD’s tenure and it has been the fundamental aspect that has been lacking.

I misspoke in my prior post (since edited). I meant to say "the pizza sucks but the wings don't?". Living in the South, I find it's more likely you'll find edible pizza than edible wings... mind you, "edible" is relative.
