  1. I think they sat him out to make sure he is 100%, he might clear the concussion protocol but the more time off the better for head injuries.
  2. He was very good last year and good this year from a lot of different analysis. Great pass protector, average run blocker and a leader along the line.
  3. Dam I don't know why I thought Miami was away. I think Miami in Buffalo is still a possible toss up as the Fins have a good defense and are well coached.
  4. I meant more so that the quality of the pick being not tied to their teams record makes it so that they can make win now moves for their team and still have access to a top 5 pick. The Texans win today does put a damper on that pick but the Texans still are tied for the 4th worst record in the league.
  5. Its pretty advantageous for the Fins to be able to see what Tua has for 10+ games and see if you need to cut your losses or not. Esp since it isn't their pick.
  6. They have the Texans pick, which is a possible top 5 pick, i think they want to know what they have in Tua before making a decision to get another QB with that pick.
  7. I genuinely see only 1 game the Bills won't be favored in and that's the Steelers game. The rest are games the Bills "should" win, and a toss up away against Miami. Chargers - This game could be tight but the Bills are home and they should be able to take care of the Chargers home after a bye. 49ers - A really banged up 49ers team missing Jimmy G, Bosa and Kittle among so many others even away the Bills should be able to handle them. Broncos- A team that is a year away and not that great, granted this game is away but the Bills are a more talented team they should be able to beat the Broncos. Pats - Pats haven't looked that terrible but they lost to a suspect Texans team, this is a game the Bills should win even with it being an away game the Bills should win. The Bills in my mind should be able to go 4-2 to close out the season and get to 11 wins which I think will be good enough to supplant Miami who already sits at 4 losses and who has yet to play KC. Overall the Bills just need to take care of the Chargers this week and see where they stand.
  8. Odd then, usually when there is 5 or less seconds you can shotgun snap it and toss it high up to kill the clock
  9. Too early to say all that. He has played 4 games, 2 he was pretty good in the other 2 he was trash. Got to see more before we know what he is.
  10. Totally forgot I made this prediction, got the numbers right just not in the exact way. My charity of choice is the Make-A-Wish foundation.
  11. Being medically cleared for a concussion isn't an exact science, the more time you have away from contact the better.
  12. I would imagine that they just chucked a ball out of bounds high in the air to run off the 4 seconds Bills now have a firm 1 game lead and the tie breaker over Miami, Bills need to just win the next two and see if Miami can split their next 2 to open up a 2 game lead.
  13. Bojo has been great all year and had one bad game and now you are ready to cut him? Dam that's cold blooded. He has been a top 10 punter in the league this season one bad game not withstanding. Against the Cardinals he looked like he did in 2019 but all year he has been a big positive out there.
  14. I would restructure his deal. I think he can be a highly productive DE in a rotation esp in pass rushing situations but he just isn't likely to live up to his starter contract. If he takes a moderate pay cut his salary as a rotation player making 6.5ish million will be justified and give the Bills about 3 million in cap relief.
  15. The NFL will likely in my opinon borrow from future years to avoid the 175 cap number. Basically making the cap number 20 million higher in 2021 and just having more gradual increases the two years after. It's not a complicated solution to avoid a cap disaster.
  16. This team was hurting for a bye so to speak. They really needed to Edumomnds and Milano back healthy to get LB play back up to speed. The team also in general is banged up and needs a bye badly.
  17. I think they were saving Mitch from himself. Give Mitch an extra week to heal up and go into the Chargers game with 3 weeks of rest after a concussion. Mitch might have been medically cleared but that doesn't mean a coach shouldn't exercise caution when he has a group playing well. Slide Mitch back in at center and move Mongo to RG.
  18. This was Bojo's first game where he looked like he did in 2019 (fairly mediocre with one bad shank punt.) Considering that he has been a dam good punter all year I can forgive it but it did look like AZ was trying to pressure him more, I hope the ST coaching adjusts to that because the last thing this team needs is consistent regression in the punt game.
  19. I do somewhat disagree with this. Addison and Jefferson have been what they were supposed to be. Jefferson is an interior pass rusher and Addison has been an effective edge rusher. However Butler, Norman and most of the time Klein have all fizzled. The defensive issues on the front 7 in my opinion have been more so a result of the regression from players on the roster. Ed Oliver is playing out of position, H.Phillips hasn't come back from the injury, Star opted out, Hughes got off to a slow start, Murphy has looked worse, Edumonds has regressed due to injury and poor play at the DT position and Milano has been hurt. Good news is that Hughes looks to be turning it around and the team hits the bye at the right time hopefully that will help get Edumonds right and Milano is on a 3 week IR stint hopefully that's proper rest. Overall I think Jefferson and Addison have been what they were brought in to be, its the player from 2019 that are more the issue.
  20. I remember in 2007 the Giants made no significant moves during the offseason, all the commentators were poking fun at them because they had an OK team but needed some talent and they had the cap space to make some acquisitions. A commentator (not sure who but it was on Fox) said the lack of offseason acquisitions might not always be a bad thing, it could be a sign that the coaches on the roster like what they have. The Giants would go on to win the Super Bowl. So while I am dissatisfied with the lack of trading for a one tech, the coaching staff looking at the roster and liking it is not a bad thing necessarily.
  21. I hope his agent talks him into signing a one year deal to hit the market when the cap is higher.
  22. Mahomes would be the only player I would trade Josh for. Now I do think that Wilson, Rodgers and one of two other QB's might be better but I think that if I am designing a fit for this system and environment only Mahomes is over Josh.
  23. I was very impressed by McVay in the Rams game, they did get a lucky call to get that BS Int but the Bills got a call at the end too. I think the Bills need to recieve the ball to start games and hope the offense can put up 7 to set the pace favorably 0n defense.
  24. The Bills defense is almost designed to stop a one dimensional passing attack. The team has a good pass rush when it isn't being run on, the secondary is good and the team can blitz with Poyer and Edumonds (and apparently Klein) from the second level. The Bills offense scoring on the first two drives and the Carson injury forced Seattle to be one dimensional and that feed into the Bills strenghts. It was a truly great match up for the Bills. Hopefully the gameflow goes similar against AZ.
  25. In the modern era TKO is a great one but he also flamed out pretty quickly. He was great in 03 and 04 but then got seriously hurt in 05 and although he came back in 06 he was a step slower that year and by 07 he was out of Buffalo. So his acquisition only really was for 2 high end seasons and one OK season. Mario was kind of the same way. An OK 2012 and then two great years in 2013 and 2014 followed by a flame out in 2015 and then gone. Paup was another short lived signing great year one but then just two solid years before he left. If I am looking at the best acquisitions in terms of longevity and impact I could be making a case for Hyde and Poyer. They have been anchoring the safety positions for the past 4 seasons at a Pro Bowl or near Pro Bowl level and they probably will be the starting safety combo next season and possibly 2022. Even if they just give the team one more good season that's 5 years of anchoring the back end of the secondary and for most of that time they were under market rate (Poyer only just now on a market level extension.) The only other free agency acquisition that gave this team 5 years of good play is London Fletcher. But Poyer and Hyde could be looking at 6 years if they play two more seasons. In terms of trades Huges is an all time great one both in terms of peak value and longevity of production.
