  1. Makes sense the Ravens last season and Chiefs this season have had some success against Josh using the blitz. So it is not shocking other teams have decided to blitz more.
  2. Recounts don't really move margins, they just re-input the votes that exist. At best you get a few hundred votes changing. The Bush v Gore recount was for a margin of 537 votes. The Margins in PA, MI, GA, and WI are 10k or more. Trump is going to have to do more than recounts to have any legal path to victory and so far he has provided little recourse as to what he can legally challenge. Even if he gets ballots that came in after the election (but postmarked before the election) thrown out the margins will likely not close in any of these states enough to come even close. The dude lost and is throwing a B word fit
  3. In the North East everyone knew Trump was a loser business wise by the early 2000's. Everyone had know someone who got stiffed by Trump in the 80's or 90's, doing contract work they never got paid for. It was the Apprentice that saved him and carved him a new reputation in middle America sadly.
  4. I think this game is critical for the division. The Fins have a very soft schedule coming up. Chargers, Broncos, Jets and Bengals. They could easily go 3-1 before they hit a likely loss to the Chiefs. If the Bills can get the win over AZ they would go to 8-2 and get to a badly needed bye week. Then the Bills hit two very winable games against the Chargers and a banged up 49ers team. So the Bills have to win out the next 3 games and hope the Fins drop one of the next four. That would give the Bills a 2 game lead going into the back 4 games of the season and considering the Fins play the Chiefs the same week the Bills play the Steelers it would likely result in the Bills even if the drop the Steelers game having a 2 game lead with 3 games left and the Bills play the Broncos and Pats going into the last fins game. Overall I think this team can survive losing to AZ but a win going into the bye maintains the Bills 1.5 game lead and gets the Bills rolling into the back 6 rested, more healthy and in position to take the division.
  5. Josh had a dam fine game against the Jets they just got some bad calls and made some mistakes in the redzone that led to them piling up huge yardage but kicking a bunch of field goals. Against the Pats Josh stuck to the gameplan and ran the ball down the Pats throat. Josh got rocked against a different gameplan against the Titans and against the Chiefs he did OK but there were limited posessions.
  6. The Bills have issues but they will win 10 or more games and it is easy to say that they could if they iron out some defensive issues win multiple playoff games. Let's see how they handle another potent offense in AZ on the road.
  7. We will see where the cap lands in 2021, but if the cap is 175 million and no rollback then the Bills will be just under with a few cuts they could make to the roster and a few contracts they could restructure. But the window to win is in 2020-22 Josh's rookie deal. Worry about the rest later.
  8. 6 sacks as a rookie in 2017 and 7 in 2018 but appears to have regressed in 2019 with 3.5 and just 1 in 2020. Odd to see them cut bait on a once promising player but i don't see the Bills pouncing.
  9. Each game is 6.25% of your season in the NFL so fans overreact to one game in both directions. I think the Bills ran into the right match up in Seattle. Arizona is similar so hopefully Josh and the offense can come out on fire and get Az away from running and let the defense loose.
  10. I am very glad that the NFL has all turnovers and TD's automatically reviewed. Having coaches challenge those types of plays was a stupid system. Granted I still think it would be better to have all reviews in the booth like they do in college but at least there is a system in place to make the two plays that are usually challenged an automatic review. As for McD he should have a replay specialist, seems like something every team would have.
  11. Bills ran into a bad matchup in the Pats, they were at worst going to tie that game before Zimmer bailed out that team. The Pats are bad but they can run the ball and they still play fairly disciplined. The Pats also got a bit lucky with a Bills turnover early in the first half. But then on the flip side the Bills ran into the perfect matchup against Seattle. Seattle was missing their best RB and weren't a consistent rushing team even with Carson in the backfield. Seattle also by going down early and the offense of the Bills consistently scoring kept the Seahawks from attempting to reestablish the run. The Bills are designed to slow down a one dimensional passing attack. They have a quality secondary, a lot of good second level blitzers (Edumonds and Poyer are good blitzer and Klein apparently is too) and a versatile defensive line that can generate pressure a lot of different ways IF they aren't getting run on. In the NFL it is all about matchups and the Bills ran into a good one on Sunday against Seattle and survived a bad one against the Pats. 7-2 onto AZ.
  12. I think a late round pick at RB that can add some speed would make sense but I can't see this team spending another high draft choice at the position. After this year Singletary has two more cost controlled seasons and Moss has 3, literally no need to invest high capital in that position when you have a pair of good young backs. TE is hard, I don't know if they have soured on Knox or not. Kroft is a high end backup, Lee Smith a specialist who isn't that great and Sweeney is a replaceable backup caliber player. I could easily see this team spending a high pick at TE but even high draft choices don't really add "speed" to the offense. So if you look at the WR corp as balanced with a blend of speed and size and the TE position isn't a "burner" position the only place where you can add some speed is a third RB but given how they like to have the third RB be a ST player I think you need to find a speed back that can play ST. Overall I would say that my off-season priority would be to re-sign D.Williams, Ty and Mongo and get an upgrade at TE either high up in the draft or via free agency (Cut the fat on defense and spend most of your cap dollars on the offense.) Then on defense resign Milano to a one year prove it deal and use most of your draft picks on the defense to restock it as best as possible. Hopefully you can make some hits on that side of the ball in the draft to repair the foundation a bit.
  13. Ty would start on other teams, Ike and Bates probably could start on a few teams that are banged up but are more so in the high end backup range. At full strength the Bills have two starting caliber oline players on the bench in Ty and Winters and then two high end backups in Ike and Bates. It's very strong depth.
  14. Toss up game here. Although I think the Bills are slightly better than Arizona but the Cards are a solid team in their own right and they are home so it ventures into being a toss up. Sitting at 7-2 it isn't a must win but the Bills should look to get this harder game going into a bye the team is hurting for.
  15. Trades can be mutually beneficial. Jefferson has been a good WR for the Vikings and is cost controlled for the next 3 to 4 seasons. The Bills got a stud WR who is in his prime and will help maximize the rookie QB contact Josh is on.
  16. TE and RB are the only places where I can see them adding more speed. At WR Diggs, Brown and Mac are all fast players. Davis adds size and Beasley is a great slot player and Roberts is there for the return game. TE is a position where it is hard to get speed. A good break away speed RB is probably the only place they can add some speed but I do like what this team has at RB so I don't see the really demanding need there. It would be a nice add for 2021
  17. Brown is such a huge part of the offense. Without Brown at 100% things get easier to defend.
  18. Ike has been solid but Bates from the eye test has played like a backup, that's not crapping on him he is a nice guy to bring off the bench to plug in but I thought he wasn't very good today. Hopefully the injuries to the oline are minor.
  19. He looked lights out today, granted I didn't see him too much in coverage and the Seahawks didn't run a lot but Klein looked like a monster blitzing out there. Even when he wasn't getting to Wilson he was still getting a lot of disruption in the pocket.
  20. I still get a big shaky when he kicks but he is settling in. Booming kickoffs is a good value added, as long as he can make in the 45 yard and under range at 90% or greater I can live with the growing pains.
  21. 2500 yards, 19 TD's passing, 4 TD's rushing (23 TD's total) with 9 Turnovers (5 INT's and 4 Lost Fumbles) on 67.1% completion percentage. Dude is a stud, top 10 QB in the game currently and has shown top 5 potential. Another opportunity for a shoot out in AZ next week, should be interesting and fun.
  22. Unless this team wins 55-0 there will be no game that makes people completely happy. This team beat one of the top teams in the league convincingly.
  23. The Bills defense is almost designed to slow up Seattle. They have a lot of pass rushers on the D-line particularly on the interior and a solid edge rush with some depth. They also are versatile in how they can pass rush you on the D-line. The thing that slows down the pass rush is running the ball which Seattle couldn't do and couldn't reestablish once they got down 2-3 scores. The Bills are also able to blitz with the LB's and DB's pretty effectively. Poyer is an underrated blitzer and so is Edumonds (And Klein came to play too.) But the Bills also have a good secondary that can bail out the team here and there. So it honestly was just a good matchup esp with Carson out for Seattle and the Bills getting the ball and scoring early.
  24. Went over my head wooosh
  25. I like Knox but he was and still is super raw. I like having Kroft as the reliable veteran. I think easily the team will have to sign a vet TE to buy Knox another year to develop. I wouldn't mind cutting Lee Smith and offering Kroft a similar one year deal and then signing another vet TE.
