I'm hoping Brady can improve the fundamentals of our skilled players.
-
It's been obvious since the end of the Miami game that the Bills skill players on offense have been flawed in fundamentals, inconsistent, and have made far too many mistakes. In addition to the downturn performance of those players, our special team play has also deteriorated. On the other hand, our injury-riddled defense has been able to play at a reasonably high level. Could it be, with the injuries to the defense that coach McDermott has had to spend a disproportionate amount of time scheming, hands-on coaching, and defensive gaming planning to compensate for the downgrade in starting talent on the defense? Thus the lack of detail and consistency by our offensive skill players and special teams is a result of McDermott's lack of time with those two groups.

Old saying: “Teams are a reflection of their COACH”

I'd say you need a lot more sample size of McDermott than what was on the tube last night to apply your Physiognomy skills. -
Bills skill players on offense are recking the game, not Dorsey.

I didn’t know Dorsey has to throw the ball too.

11/19/2023 - Numerology and how the Bills run the table

You make a lot more sense than most of the knuckleheads wanting coaches' heads to roll midway through the season. -
Not one of Josh's better decisions.

I've watched every Bills play this season. If I were to critisize the defense it would be a lack of talent at the CB position. That being said, the Bills are 5th in the league in points allowed. Not too bad considering the multitude of injuries. On offense, I would have to say lack of execution and moronic penalties are more to blame for lack of production than scheme and play calling. Even with that said, the Bills are 5th in yards/game and 5th in points per/game. Now I haven't observed how the Bills practice, so that might be where the coaching staff is failing. However, on game day, I have to say it's the inconsistent proper execution of the players that has to be blamed for the fans wanting the coach's heads to roll.

NFL Scheduler Really Hated the Bills this Year
gjv replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall
My understanding is the Bills had a choice to take their bye week after the London game or week 13. -
Perhaps you should read and follow your location.

Why didn't we sign Joseph the week after the Jacksonville game?

TRADE! Giants send Williams to Seattle for 2nd

Why do I feel Daboll didn't want Williams to be traded to the Bills. -
TRADE! Giants send Williams to Seattle for 2nd

From my perspective, the inability to find replacements for Jones and White in the trade market has dramatically hurt this top-ten roster. Our defense will have to rely on the defensive scheme heavily. McDermott is going to get his DC aptitude tested. -

Wish there was a stud DT on that list. -

Seems a little harsh to put someone in jail for spreading. Perhaps there is more to this story. -
Did Thursday's game vs Bucs influence our play vs. Pats?

Bills offense has not been executing very for the last three games. Perhaps they are not practicing as well as they should. -
Shakir needs to be given some of Gabe’s snaps…prove me wrong

With a lucrative contract on the line, I would think we are seeing the best version of Gabe Davis. That being said if this is Gabe's best, he might be released instead of being offered a lucrative contract. -
I know the coaches and fans were holding their breaths when an earlier injured Josh Allen went to the defense of Spencer Brown. But you just have to love it.https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/josh-allen-fight-lineman-bills-giants-bobby-okereke-spencer-brown

Gabe Davis's strength is his ability to track and secure the long ball. In the Bills scheme, I don't know if that is or isn't the most important characteristic for their number two receiver. I will say this, I think the Bills miss two elements in their passing game; a Beasley-type slot receiver and a reliable tight end.

I hope Fournette is in shape. Murray, Fournette, and Harris are the right type of backs to have if you want to have a smash-mouth run game.

I'm surprised he didn't use the "F" word at least three times in that remark. Salah and his D-coordinator must hold the record for using the "F" word in the Hard Knocks Show. I was embarrassed for his family.
