  1. I love that, in that image, there are the words "questionable return" on the screen. Adds even more humor to a rather humorous situation.
  2. Well, let us know when you decide. Sorry Derek, that was a funny post to me for some reason.
  3. In my in-law's basement praying that the last week of smack talking the Brady-lovin SOB that is my father-in-law (actually a great guy aside from his pats affinity) doesn't backfire. If we lose, I will be outta that house with his stockpile of high priced booze quicker than you can say Leodis.
  4. I wish the Ralph had the acoustics of Qwest/Century Link in Seattle. The place is loud and the fans are definitely riled up there, but the stadium acoustics make it twice what it is. Bills fans are way more devout than Hawks fans on average. I know we could make home games even better with a better designed stadium. That being said, if you are fortunate enough to be in Buffalo and going to the game, be the best 12th man you can be! Bring the noise so we can break the streak! Quiet on O, deafening on D! GO BILLS!!
  5. Great post OP. I, admittedly, was a little disheartened watching the O-lines play and the surrounding drama in preseason. Now that I have had a chance to see two strong games from this group, I am more than impressed. Urbik will be missed, but Rhinehart is a more-than-capable replacement. Wood and Levitre are consistently making strong plays, Bell has been at his best and Pears hasn't been anything short of consistent and strong. So odd that I expected the defense to be our strength this year.....
  6. Bills- 34 (4 td's, 3fg's-td's from Freddie, Spiller, Chandler and Stevie) Pats- 27(3 td's, 2fg's-td's from Welker (2) and Gronkowski) sacks by Merriman and Dareus My father-in-law is a long-time Pats fan, so I am gonna smack talk my way through the next few days. If we beat them, he won`t hear the end of it. GO BILLS!!
  7. Like most, I will be disappointed, but definitely neither surprised nor devastated. The Bills have looked like a new, much improved, team the past two games, but NE is a Super Bowl contender. I have a tough time uttering those words in reference to the Bills. On a side note, isn't it funny that the facet of the game we were all most happy with in pre-season, the defense, looks as the weaker side of the ball. Shows what pre-season means....
  8. Call that individual out publicly. That's terms for a beat-down! If that individual is reading this, they should be ashamed. Pathetic!
  9. This thread is fantastic. Gotta love the true Raiders fan/TBD trolls! Thanks for the pre-game laugh! Funny like drafting Heyward-Bay in the top 10!
  10. Hue Jackson. He has that team believing and their D-line is definitely strong. I am not even close to being a Raiders fan, but I did see some positives in their performance on Monday. I do not expect them to roll over when we play them and I cannot foresee the lopsidedness of the KC game re-occuring.
  11. I liked Bledsoe for about 8 games on the Bills, but I soon saw him for the washed-up, immobile QB he was. Hall of Fame for the Pats? Because he moved out of the way for the best QB they've ever had? That's the only reason I can think of.
  12. Bills 27- Oakland 17 fair based on how damn good McFadden is.
  13. This sucks. So much promise, but when the body fails ya, the body fails ya....
  14. I'm with the Hangman vote here. I don't see why he was the most expendable of the remaining lineman. I am keen on seeing Colin Brown now that he was picked over Geoff. Seems I'm not in the minority when I say he wasn't on my radar when I looked at the training camp roster.
  15. Because a bunch of folks here were high on him. Looks like they might have been high on sum'n.....
  16. Poop. I liked Coleman. He played his heart out this pre-season and made some good, heady plays. I was hoping he would be kept. Jasper isn't a big surprise with the discovery of Heard. Hope we can get him to the PS and harness his size and talent.
  17. Based on what I saw out of Ed Wang, he doesn't seem worthy of being on an NFL PS. Maybe an NFL POS, but that's about it. His mobility, hands and strength are nowhere near where they need to be. This guy needs to hire himself a top-level trainer and get himself ready for the UFL.
  18. Like most Jets fans, your diction is spectacular. "A strange bedfellows?" . So a singular "a" makes for a plural "bedfellows"? Nice! This is a big bridge to hang out under troll.
  19. The D has been where the most standouts have been, as evidenced by Turbo's quality analysis. On O, I've gotta say that the last game showed the Aiken can be a more than viable WR, Easley may be ready to get close to the expectations set out before him and the combo of Fitzy and Stevie is going to be dangerous on more than a few nights. Urbik has definitely improved in strength and technique and the right side of the line is far better than expected with him and Pears. I am, however, gonna miss Hangman when he gets cut for financial (finances, we talkin 'bout finances with Ralph?) reasons.
  20. That's sound reasoning...never apply for a job with the league. They don't have room for sound reasoning.
  21. Thigpen obviously needs the time on the field, so u can't replace him, but I expected so much more!
  22. As a Canadian, I would like to know a little more a boot that injury....
  23. Pushing it a bit, but love your optimism! Dareus isn't Bruce, but he has the ability to have a very big impact on this team. A healthy Merriman is definitely Talley-esque. I have been very impressed by the attitude and ability that Merriman has brought to the table this year.
  24. Not too many moves would grind my gears more than the one the OP suspects. Tebow is dropping down the depth chart like a barrel over the Falls. Nobody knows if he survives or if he ends up downstream somewhere. I don't want the Bills to be that somewhere. He is a very good football player, with a lot of heart and the ability to lead. His problem, which is a major one for a QB, is his arm. How many Pro Bowl calibre QB's can you say that about? Do we want to settle for our next QB like we have for our current one (no offense to Fitz, as I like him enough to say he'd be a very good back-up)? Or shouldn't we go ahead and get the real deal in the draft next year? We need O-line help more than a crap shoot, roll-of-the-dice QB move right now. As I watched the game, I knew it wasn't Fitz, but the complete lack of any standouts on our o-line that created the mess I was witnessing. D'Allesandris better get his head out of the sand and get these guys figured out quick. Despite his history, I was for signing VY in the first place. He put himself in a superior situation in Philly, but his skillset would have been well suited for our offense and he's bigger, faster and stronger than Fitz. That would help with dealing with the onslaught of defenders that our O-line fell down in front of instead of blocking.
