  1. I had the exact same question about the Hawks game. CenturyLink is easily one of the best places to watch a game in the league and I go down at least once a year to watch the Hawks. I was gearing up for this year for a while and was sorely disappointed to see it as a home game for the Bills. I am gonna go and see the Hawks crush Marsha though. I'll be very happy with Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor each getting a pick 6 in that game. I guess I've gotta head to San fran with my Williams jersey. Could be a lot worse.
  2. I would have no issue with that being the case, but I like the red kicks. Anyone who has an Under Armour deal this year will be wearing some great looking cleats IMHO. Red would look nice in those.
  3. Last I heard, he was working out juco players in SoCal and sending COD packages to Ryan Leaf. Is he still eligible?
  4. Hate is a strong word, but I despise the Pats, Jets and Dolphins equally. Lately, my blood has boiled with the sight of even Giselle Bundchen, so I'd have to say that, because they even ruined her, the Pats come out on top.
  5. Agreed. Though, I am not sure that Toronto is the best place for this. They've got this thing called the CFL that needs Toronto to survive as a league. They can hardly support the Argos as it is and they would not be inclined to support a minor-league franchise when they aren't supporting the professional one. Toronto, I have come to realize, is not a good NFL market. Keep the league fully in the US, maybe give Mexico City a try, and target cities with strong fan bases like OKC, Portland, Richmond and San Antonio.
  6. The article was great. As a fan living in a different county on the opposite side of the continent, it's always great to see new ways to connect with fellow fans. The fact that the players have joined in makes the BillsMafia a great movement in my eyes. Still don't like the slideshow, but I see the purpose in getting videos and photos. It does detract from the article. Regardless, thanks!
  7. It's just funny man, take it easy. I also said that your mock draft was well thought out and I liked your fist two picks as well. Did ya skip that part?
  8. I like that the OP has stated that he is "one of the biggest Bills fans on here" then praises his Mock as the best one yet. R U kidding me? If you are on here, you are probably a huge Bills fan. But we've got members with 12,000 posts! Are you really "one of the biggest Bills fans" or do you just really love the Bills like the rest of us? BTW...your mock is not bad. Well thought out. I also would be happy with a Floyd 1st and Denard in the second.
  9. That is awesome! I like GW as a player and now I like him even more. Great to see players going out of their way to connect with fans
  10. We need depth there and his bio interests me. Can't speak to his true abilities because I don't have all the game film. Anybody see anything more than me?
  11. Leaf had an agent named Josh Luchs, the whistleblower agent who no longer has a client in the NFL. His real representation and "role model" was his father, a real treat of a guy. He was destined to fail with his bevy of addiction and mental issues.Hell of an arm, but absolutely zero self control. As much as the media can get on Archie, he has done a very good job of raising two men who are strong role models and consummate professionals in their field.
  12. Sorry to hear about your predicament, but happy that you are okay Tipster. Keep your head up!
  13. I'd take Blackmon in a heartbeat. As can't miss a prospect as there is after pick #3. I don't want to drop our second for him though. We have loaded up the defensive side of the ball, but it's only two acquisitions. We still need serious depth on both sides of the ball. Second rounders can be as valuable as most first rounders and I trust Buddy to make the right pick there.
  14. I love this stuff.. but thank goodness the regimes that picked those two clowns are long gone. Buddy hits it well on the first rounders IMHO. The Jasper experiment has looked like a rough one so far, but if he's put himself in the right hands this off-season, he has the size, strength and athleticism to be a decent o-lineman. He looked lost on the field last year. Like one would expect from a juco transfer
  15. Epic. This was a well thought out, great post. Thanks OC!
  16. If I was a gambling man, which I am not, I would put my money on Floyd or a trade down. The talk about Buddy and his preference for Southern state players is just that, talk. He'll pick the best player to improve the squad. IMHO, that's Floyd at #10.
  17. I have zero expectations of him making it to #10. It is, as a number of others have stated, a no-brainer to pick him if he does. Kind of like Dareus falling last year. And, as for who grabs him before #10, the Fins or the Bucs have huge holes at CB. Claiborne walks on as an elite starter. Kind of a given.
  18. Because of the sheer number of nationally broadcasted ND games, I got to see Floyd play 6 games that I recall. He was a standout with great athleticism, hands and speed. I definitely liked him before the combine. Are either Upshaw or Kuechly worth a #10? If the FO can trap a team with the need for Tannehill, then dropping down, picking up an extra second, and grabbing Kuechly in the late teens in the 1st might be a great answer. It's tough because you have to address your own needs, but also considering other teams needs and their willingness to move into position to draft them. Realistically, there are no consensus picks between 8 and 22.
  19. Here's the thing: Reiff is tough as nails. He projects as a LT after a year of seasoning at RT. Martin would walk right in as a LT. He is more athletic, but is not as proven in the college game as Reiff was. Reiff should be a long term answer at LT, but we would have to deal with him playing spot duty their this year while Hairston is the starter. Definitely tough to stomach with a top 10 pick, but might be the better answer for the future. All that being said, I'd take Kirkpatrick or Floyd. I watched both of them this year as much as possible and each has slight weaknesses, but each would be upgrades at positions of great need. Love Florence as a team guy, but even he has acknowledged the need for an upgrade at CB.
  20. Deers. Can't you read!
  21. He is still in B'more. Never was here. Might be in the future. But very unsubstantiated claim. I think that this speaks volumes about Mark Anderson. The guy had 10 sacks on a pretty terrible Pats Defense in 11-12. I would take that in heartbeat
  22. Bison. Singular or plural it's the same.
  23. Bud Adams...all time classless owner. Happy that Peyton saw right through his "lifetime contract" to go to a far classier organization....and that's tough for me to say with Elway at the helm in Denver...
  24. Suck for Barkley. All I can think of. The Dolphins are waving the white flag. Ireland needs to go...but I'll be more than happy to see him stay.
  25. God will send his legions to Denver to smite down Peyton. This is a very bad idea.... Agreed on this being the post of the day.
