  1. This has been posted before. Problem is that Elam last year played 45-100% of the snaps in the 14 games he played in. He's hasn't put on a uniform on game day since Jaunuary---and they may toss him on Miami WRs stone cold?
  2. There is no rule that says that a player may not return any kicked ball. There, I've said it twice. It is the teams that are choosing the fair catch because they know the odds of returning a kick past the 25 yard line are less than 50%. They knew that last year as well, when only 6 teams averaged 25 or more yards per return (for a grand total of 6 TDs league wide). Now they have another option to be awarded the ball at the 25. Or they could return it. No "legislation" has changed that.
  3. I thought this was going to be a Dalton Kincaid thread....
  4. Mike White or Minshew over Aaron Rodgers? Oh yeah,...Definitely!!
  5. How many fair catches have there been this year? There is no rule preventing a returner, such as Hines, from running the kick back. They simply have to the option to fair catch it in bounds for a touchback. Returns certainly have not been "legislated out of the game"
  6. Not every touchback is kicked out of the endzone. kicks that are a few yards back of the goal line are let go and those a few yards short of the goal line are allowed to bounce in.
  7. It wouldn't make sense to adapt the XFL method if the NFL's goal is to keep the return rate low. A team with good coverage would never kick a touchback--a well placed kick to within 5 yards of the goal line has less than a 50/50 chance of getting past the 25 yard line. Returners are obviously being told not to field these kicks.
  8. You ask who would be a bigger celeb.......and toss up Rachel Bush?? She's a nobody. wtf is this?? lol she's infamous sleeping with AB right before her wedding to Poyer.
  9. why does he need to be revisited? He's not as good as the guy who replaced him. end of story.
  10. I think what angered "Sauce" was Jones's "is that a roll of dimes in your pocket or were you just happy to sack me?" comment upon standing.
  11. He sounds like a HS kid broadcasting on CCTV. Mindless hype machine. Like a hopped up Gus Johnson, without the intelligence.
  12. lots of DBs must have really strong hands...
  13. Going backwards isn't trend setting. A couple of good showings vs marginal teams isn't the way to remaster your Offense. There's no reason to believe that if the Bills shifted to a lot more Josh under Center that the trend would hold. Obviously teams would change the way they defend him, don't you think? The Offense is, across a whole year, pretty stout as is, despite roster changes each season. Pretty much. College Offense has predominated in the NFL for a while. Lots of coordinators from the college game. Plus with the dominance of RPO, the shotgun is king.
  14. The league years ago walked away from under center sets.
  15. come on... No team does this--not even close. The O-line couldn't handle that anyway.
  16. the guy who isn't good enough to even put on the uniform this season will be activated to cover the fastest receivers in the game? you won't see a team score 70 points again.
  17. Still a bum, only in Chicago this time
