Another drop. That was a beautiful touch pass right on stride. Too bad it will be overturned. -

Allen has been very accurate on his passes. Very encouraged. Next year he is going to have a similar second year jump similar to that of Wentz, Goff Trubisky. I feel pretty confident about that. Just got to hope that we have a good off season and surround him with a better line and weapons. -

I'm not worried about Tre. Dude has been lockdown and just needs to watch some film and refine his deep ball defense. -

Texans at Jets: Saturday Afternoon Fever
Magox replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sam darnold looking good. I'm looking forward to the rivalry between him and Allen. 2 years from now it will be the Jets and Bill's battling it out for the division title in the AFC east. -

Any Buyer's Remorse From Teams That Drafted QB in Round 1?
Magox replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can we just admit that they both have terrible lines and it's arguable to say that one is worse than the other? And can we admit that the Allen has a strong argument in having a worse supporting cast than Arizona? Or at the very least equally as bad? And can we admit that Josh has arguably done more with a worse or equally bad supporting cast than Rosen? -
Patrick Mahomes: He is having an incredible season
Magox replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's mind boggling. I was a huge proponent of him coming out of college because of his arm and gun slinger mentality and I thought he had what it took to make all the throws. But I thought that he was pretty raw and that it would take some time for him to be a good QB. Not only did it not take him hardly any time but he's not just good, he's freaking amazing! A true marvel -
Zay Jones & Robert Foster - Advanced Metrics
Magox replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Robert Foster without doubt has a much higher ceiling than Zay Jones. Zay is a more polished route runner but Foster has much more speed and separation capabilities. They both have a future in the league. I'm beginning to change my views on Foster, if he can continue to progress the way we've seen and he commits to his route running and continues to demonstrate good hands then he actually could end up being a very productive receiver in this league. -
Any Buyer's Remorse From Teams That Drafted QB in Round 1?

They do not have worse pass protection. Stats and our eyes back that up. Look at the stats that Bandit posted. Look at PFT's stats that show that Allen has been by far the most pressured QB in the league. For crying out loud, have you been watching the Bills games of late? Allen drops back and has about a second and half before someone comes right up the middle. You would think that with all the stats backing this assertion up and the fact that you've seen the Bills games that you'd see this. He rarely has the time to drop back and have an opportunity to go through his progressions. Come'on now! -
Seriously, the detractors that do not realize that over the past weeks the amount of yardage this team has put up on offense, the average yards per play spiking upwards and that the amount of punts per game plummeting over the past few weeks, not to mention all the WOW plays that Josh has brought to this team are burying their heads in the sand. They have an agenda, most of them can't get over the fact that we didn't select Rosen and are so hell bent on not wanting to accept Josh that they aren't having the opportunity to truly enjoy a QB that is entering into his own. It's been a lot of fun watching Allen over the past few weeks, you can see his star potential written all over him. He just needs to continue to progress, which I have all the faith in the world that he will do and we need to build a much better line around him and get some weapons that can actually make some plays. I think if we can adequately address these two areas in the off season I believe that we will become a high flying exciting offense that takes lots of shots down the field. I honestly believe we have the most exciting QB in the league and I'm stoked to watch him develop.

It is true that Rosen has had the most injuries to his front 5 but it's hard to argue that Buffalo's line is better than Arizona's. Allen gets pressured more than any other QB, not only do the stats back that up in many metrics but all we have to do is see for ourselves, Allen literally drops back, looks looks and BAM!!! Pass pressure comes in. -
I got to see that throw again to Clay and initially I thought it was a knee to thigh high pass. I was wrong, it was a waist level throw right in stride. Another huge drop by Clay and by the looks of it there was no one in sight that could have been at a bare minimum a 30 yard gainer potentially taking it to the house for a TD. Allen is going to have some serious stats once he gets an O line and some other receivers who can actually make some plays. In regards to the several errrrr... Bills fans who have nothing better to do than critique Allen at every turn and not have the wherewithal to recognize that he is showing franchise QB level talent, well I suppose they will come around sometime next year.

Robert Foster nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week
Magox replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What makes him potentially special is his ability to separate. And although he has a very good time 40 speed, he actually seems to play even faster than his measured speed. He is GAME DAY FAST! -
Patrick Mahomes: He is having an incredible season
Magox replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I loved his possibilities of being a big time QB in the draft and he was who I wanted most but the season he is putting together exceeds my wildest dreams of what he could so this early on in his NFL career. Its absolutely stunning -
Tremaine Edmunds became youngest NFL player with INT today
Magox replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a bad missed tackle from Edmunds. He played the inside where he should have played him to the outside. -
EJ Manuel isn't even close to whiffing the ball park of Allen. If you think they are at a similar level than one another then you are just flat out wrong. Allen next year will take a big leap from where he is right now in which right now he is already pretty much the whole offense, Manuel never was no such thing.
