  1. You're still clamoring for the days of overpriced and underperforming former players? Let it go
  2. That sucks. Such a shame. I always liked Darby
  3. He was just offered $30 million over the first 2 years.
  4. I remember before the season there seemed to be a lot of push back against Leveon from his own teammates which is very odd considering players tend to either defend their teammates or stay totally out of it when it comes to them trying to get more money during contract negotiations. That aside, with a full lost year of no incoming money, it will be hard to make up the $14m he could have made this year even if he does get the $17m he desires.
  5. The reason why the Bills arent that highly rated with Points Against is because of turnovers. Several pick sixes and lots of turnovers giving the opposing team good field position. Chicago was a perfect example of that.
  6. Not a number one. But he has shown an ability to separate on downfield passes and if hes able to consistently haul in passes he can have a decent future in the league.
  7. The point is that for all the overreacting ninny's who have been criticizing every throw that Allen has made to look at the other QB's that the same overreacting ninny's were clamoring for are struggling just as much as Allen. That's the point.
  8. Not to mention three other passes that were thrown right into the hands of DB's that were dropped. He could have had 5 picks that game.
  9. He would definitely make sense for the Bills to pick up.
  10. This is where many of our fellow posters either get it wrong or simply are blinded with misplaced anger and don't understand. That we may already potentially have a championship caliber defense. This defense since quarter number 6 of this season has played an elite level and aside from Kyle Williams and L. Alexander, the defense is very young. Albeit they are two very important players but when you look at how we turned this defense from not just being an opportunistic turnover machine but now they shut down opposing teams ground games and don't give up all that many yards. We just need to maintain this level of defense and now build an offense. I fully expect the F.O to draft and pick up players in F.A that will dramatically improve the talent level on offense. We've got a really good coach and G.M, I have lots of confidence that next year we'll fill up the cupboard and 2020 we'll be vying for deep in December football games.
  11. Arizona ranks dead last in Offensive line rankings for QB not getting their team in/out of the huddle
  12. Couldn't have said it better myself. The same Allen detractors are the ones who have no patience for his inexperience, yet "the most NFL ready" rookie QB when he ends up stinking up the field he is given a pass. Fact is that our supporting cast for Allen is worse than Rosen and his overall impact has been more positive for the team than Rosen's.
  13. Imagine how low it would have been if all those DB's didn't drop those passes thrown right into their hands. Ouch!
  14. If you are going to include Sammy then you have to include that we got a 2nd rounder as well.
  15. Rosen had three other passes that should have been picks that were drops by the DB's. I'm serious, it truly was a horrendous game. And his body language was awful as well.
  16. It would have been a complete meltdown if Rosen had this sort of a game in a Bills Uniform and his name had been Allen. It was truly an awful game. With that said, he is a rookie and there are many rookies who had really tough rookie years that ended up being very good QB's in this league. Not everyone starts off like D. Watson, Big Ben, Brady, Luck or Russell Wilson. These guys for the most part had a very favorable situation to step into and let's be frank they handled it much better than other rookie QB's in their first year. So, definitely his slow start to this season doesn't define him. Can you imagine how he would look with our offense? With the WR's and O Line we had, specially the O line of the first few weeks. Allen has made some key plays with his legs that have offset his uneven passing in a way that Rosen wouldn't have been able to do. I think Allen last game was starting to get more into the groove, I have confidence that he'll continue improving. Maybe not in a consistent upward trajectory but I do believe he will trend higher with his development.
  17. Reading this board has become unbearable. There always has been the teeth gnashing after losses but these hot takes over the past few weeks has been insane. I dont even enjoy coming here as much as I used to. They're ruining the board. I have to sift through all this garbage to read a few interesting posts here and there.
  18. He could easily have 4 picks so far this game. But that was good touchdown pass he just made with not a clear passing lane.
  19. Tough night for him. Hasn't looked good at all.
  20. You'd have to be a real nincompoop to not believe that Star is a contributing reason to allowing our defensive players the freedom to disrupt and make plays. The whole reason why we brought him in wasn't to make sacks or lots of tackles but to help collapse the pocket in pass rushing situations and eat up blockers for our playmakers to do what they do. And that is exactly what they've done thanks in part to Star.
  21. Nevada is supposed to be Democrats #1 pickup opportunity for a Senate seat and it had been looking that way. They were up every single poll up until the Kavanaugh debacle. Now 3 polls in a row show Heller up with latest poll showing up 7.
  22. You're conflating the stock market with the economy. No economist who doesn't have a partisan bone in them will deny that the economy is growing at a more robust level than before. Everyone knows that Trump's policies have been much more effective for the economy than Obama's, that's not even up for debate. At least not by serious thinking people. The part you quoted supports my argument.
  23. It's not hard to argue, the economy was lack luster to say the least before Trump and now it's not and the tax cuts, deregulation efforts and the general pro business attitude coming from his administration are the reason for it. And this tax cuts "for the rich" trope is a tired argument and doesn't work with me simply because it's bull ****.
