  1. Now they have to do the investigation. I'm ok with what was proposed. A one week investigation with a hard date to vote. The only problem is that god knows what crazy crap and allegations will come out.
  2. Everyone loses and the main culprits are the Senate Democrats. They held on to this evidence, they leaked it at the 11th hour. Dr. Ford's lawyers are democratic operatives one who has been recorded on video as being part of the "resistance" movement and that had a hand in the Anita Hill debacle. And the other lawyer defends Andrew McCabe. The Senate Democrats don't care about Dr. Ford nearly as much as winning. This was always a zero sum game for them and Dr. Ford was merely an unwitting political pawn in the whole process. She wanted privacy. The only people who had knowledge of this was the Democratic Congressman and her aides, Feinstein and her aides, the lawyers for Dr. Ford and her close friends. You going to tell me that the most likely culprit that leaked this was her close friends? Who know that she has emotional traumas. I find that highly unlikely, it is much more believable that it was one of the Democrats who leaked it because it serves their purpose which is to "resist". Not to mention that this investigation could have been done secretly and have respected Dr. Ford's wishes and a thorough investigation could have been conducted. Feinstein had met up with Kavanaugh on a couple occasions and she never brought this up. This whole process was a farce and the Democrats did this purposely in the manner how they handled it. At the end of the day, they both were credible witnesses and when it was all said and done, there was no contemporaneous corroboration of Dr. Ford's accounts of that day. There were plenty of holes in her testimony regarding the therapists notes, the flights, not remembering when and where this took place. No one who has an axe to grind cannot come away thinking that Kavanaugh definitely did this. All they have to hang their hat on to is Dr. Ford's account and unfortunately for her, not even her own witnesses recall such an event.
  3. By the way, this has been a much better session and it has tilted back to I believe right where we began. Now I put this back at 50/50
  4. Yeah, because it's become a political shitshow.
  5. I'm not arguing the merits rather how I believe they'll vote. I think they will tell McConnell that they just can't vote for him at this time. And he will have to shelve the vote in which Trump will pull the nomination. Unless Kavanaugh can put in the performance of his life.
  6. Ford came off as credible even though there were quite a few inconsistencies and very little if any corroborating evidence to support her case. But that most likely wont matter. Flake, Murkowski and Collins will very likely not vote for Kavanaugh unless he can put in a stellar performance, in which to be honest with you, I dont think he has it in him like Clarence Thomas. That's unfortunate, because it appears performances are more important than actual evidence.
  7. I hate the word "c u c k " but if I envisioned someone who embodies the word c u c k it would be Senator Blumenthal.
  8. Yes, that's what he's going with. It's not logical and it's awfully convenient to blame the therapist for misstating her statements. In order to believe that you'd have to believe that Ford was stating this to her therapist in passing and that the therapist just marked it as a sidenote. That's not believable.
  9. No it does not and I doubt that any reasonable thinking person actually believes that.
  10. Then she states that the therapist made a mistake in how she told her story. That's pretty convenient don't you think? That is a very important detail that I do not believe that a therapist would misstate. Do you?
  11. Did you not listen to the exchange.? She wasn't able to name the driver nor has anyone come forward corroborating her story. Also, that she changed her recollection of how many guys had allegedly attacked her. She stated with the therapist that there were 4 boys who did this. Then her story changed on a couple of occasions. Then no where in her therapists notes does she mention Kavanaugh.
  12. The prosecutor I think successfully caste doubt on some of Ford's claims.
  13. There goes Durbin providing pretext for possible inconsistencies that she will undoubtedly communicate.
  14. I could watch the attorney and alleged victim interact all day. I love this kind of stuff. What the other side is offering is utterly useless.
  15. I don't doubt for one second that she believes what she's saying. I just know that memory can be a funny thing and sometimes especially after traumatic events or what have you that it can fail us. It's happened and it's happened often and the more time that passes by the odds of our memory failing us increases.
  16. This is basically what I eluded to earlier. The media and ones afraid of their own shadows will eventually succumb to the heart strings being pulled. Evidence be damned!
  17. I wish we just had the attorney conducting the whole thing. That's the best way to get down to the facts and truth.
  18. Unfortunately, the facts I don't think will matter as much as heart strings. Kavanaugh is in trouble.
  19. People are still claiming that the Watkins trade was a bad thing???
  20. I think you need to judge your strategy based on the feel of the game. We stopped them with their first drive of the third quarter, which means there was even less urgency to throw it as much. As the game progressed they still continued to be stymied and running the ball was the right thing to do considering the circumstances. I was perfectly ok with it.
  21. Maybe they can call the Bills and see if they can get their 3rd rounder back?
  22. Hes throwing it well. Good quick reads. His strength
