If this team does not look legit by the end of next year then I will begin to entertain the idea of a new coach. The way I see it is they have three years to put up an AFC legit east contender. With the right off season moves and competent coaching we should be knocking on the door.

Leslie Frazier has never been a good DC

Defense is great until you get to the red zone. They need to solve that problem and do a little more blitzing. -
For the most part, yes. McD has stated that Beane makes the final decision with all player personnel moves. --According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network , Beane will have control of the 53-man roster but will work closely with Bills head coach Sean McDermott, who has been at the forefront of the team's biggest personnel decisions this offseason. The two worked together for six years with the Carolina Panthers, so it's not difficult to envision a healthy working relationship between the two. That working relationship is the main reason to be encouraged by this Bills hire. Beane doesn't have experience as an area scout, but he has handled a variety of roles in football operations over the last 19 years with the Carolina Panthers. It's noteworthy that he'll control the 53-man roster, but the majority of NFL general managers control the 53. It would be naive to think McDermott's hands won't be all over every decision this team is making. Now Beane and McDermott (or should it be McDermott and Beane?) will have to put a scouting staff in place. For two people who are first-timers in their new roles, Beane and McDermott have to surround themselves with quality talent evaluators and front office people to make this operation work. The Bills clearly don't want Beane to be a general manager in title only, and Beane likely wouldn't have gone for that anyway.--

Beane sets the table and is the final shot caller with input from McD
-
Whaley set the table and was responsible for the scouting and McD pulled the trigger and made the decisions. Beane had nothing to do with that draft, even though it did produce some good players.

Most rational fans and observers understand that Rome wasnt built in a day. Beane has had one off season and draft to improve the team and he inherited one of the worst salary cap strapped organizations in the league and now we are one of the best positioned ones. This is the year with 10 draft choices and what will most likely be 100 million in cap space to address the offense. If this team doesnt look legit by the end of next year then I will agree with you until then any other opinion on the matter I consider to be tremendously uninformed

Maybe you can go buy season tickets to the Browns for next year, that way you can cheer Tyrods clipboard holding skills from closer up.

How much did it cost the Bill's to trade for Coleman? What draft round selection was Ray Ray? What did Boldin cost them? And was Boldin truly expected to be a staple of this franchise? Since when are late round draft selections expected to be gamers? Odds are very low. The only player they misjudged on that truly cost them anything was Benjamin. That was a whiff. But last I recall all of Bill's nation including Pantger fans and NFL pundits thought that was a good move. Clearly it wasn't. I reject your premise
-
Because that has largely been the case. Aside from Benjamin who we all thought was a good trade who else did Beane put serious draft capital towards? The only person I can think of is Allen and from my perspective that's going to be a homerun. Who else? Ivory? Deon Thompson? 5th rounder Teller? Bodine? Newhouse? These are all stop gap players with the possible exception of Teller. The meaningful FA acquisitions last year were both on the defensive side. Their draft picks were mainly defensive. That narrative is more than just a narrative, it is backed up by their actions.

I love McCoy but it's time to move on from him.
-
Not only those passes but he had another pass on a third down to foster one on one vs Gilmore in the endzone where Foster got his fingers on. Foster mistimed his jump on that one. It would have been a great play by Foster but could have been made. There was another play in the endzone where the ball was close to foster and McKenzie and McKenzie was in position and the defender jumped and knocked McKenzie out of position that should have been a pass interference. Then there was another 3rd down play that was perfectly thrown by Allen that the defender made a good play on. No separation from Mckenzie. Then the fumble by Croom. Allen made nice passes to get them to the 5. Misplay after misplay after misplay.

Draft a Rb. One who can catch and that is quick. -
With Allen, I’m convinced he just needs more help

I fully expect Beane to go after the best FA O-linemen this year and I believe he will get it done. -
For a rookie QB he wasn't bad. He made a few mistakes and hesitated in the pocket a couple times, aside from that he was pretty good. Definitely not his best game and nothing to rave home about but if his pass receivers make a few plays then we could easily have seen a near 300 yard and 3 td pass performance.

This Allen took a "step back" argument is nonsense. He didnt have a good game and he made 2 very bad reads on his int's and a couple other missed throws. But he also made some very nice playmaking TD passes that should have been caught and quite a few others as well. By no means is that a "step back". He will learn from those int's. He will learn from seeing some new disguises he went up against and I fully expect Beane will get him a much better offensive line and a couple more pass catchers that will be upgrades from what we have right now. Put that together with Allen's inevitable year 2 jump along with an improving Foster this team should be in position to make a run for the division. This is what I've been saying for weeks now and it's what I expect for this coming year.

I'm here. Are you blind or just a blowhard? He had a dropped pass by McKenzie that would have been a first down that killed the drive to open the game. He had a perfect beautiful bomb on the following drive that should have been a touchdown that Foster couldnt come up with the play. Ge had another third down pass to the endzone with foster matched up one on one that hit Fosters finger tips. He had another pass in the endzone to McKenzie where he was pass interfered. He had another perfect behind the shoulder pass to Logan that went squarely through his hands. He had another pass after a nice drive where Croom fumbled on the 5 yard line. Allen certainly made a few bad decisions but if this team could have had players to make plays today this would have been a close game. There was plenty in there today to be hopeful about.

I expect them to significantly upgrade the line and add more playmakers. They will have 100m in cap space with 10 draft picks at their disposal. -
His football takes are very nincompoopish

Today was a perfect demonstration that the main problem on our offense was a lack of players who could make plays. Foster had a TD on a perfect bomb pass by Allen and he couldn't make the play. Logan had a perfect behind the shoulder pass go through his hands. Foster had another pass hit his fingers in the endzone. And there were a couple other dropped passes. Allen had a few bad passes and passes that I'm sure he will learn from but he is making good throws that should result in points that arent happening. Next year when they address the offensive line get a couple more weapons and with Allen's second year progression, they will be competing for the division title. -
The 2015 Bills would have broke the drought if...

Even though the old C. Biscuit used to be a homer, he was a much more enjoyable biscuit than the new bitter biscuit of the past 2 years. What's funny is we finally made the playoffs in the first year of the new regime and the following year very likely found our franchise QB that this franchise has desperately searching for well over a decade and you still are longing for the days of mediocrity of Whaley, Dareus, Watkins, Manuel etc. Etc. Very strange. If you believe that Manuel is even approaching the level of Allen then you truly have lost any sense of judging football. Is that what you are saying? -
I'm not going to debate whether it was the right policy move or not. This whole mid east strategy has conflicted me for some time now. But it's hilarious how all of a sudden the mainstream media and leftists have now become military hawks who want the US to continue on with the war. TDS is a real thing folks.
