I just wonder why they didn't give him more carries in such a big game. I mean you have: a) defense is playing awesome, b) quarterback is really struggling, c) wide receivers can't get separation, d) offensive tackles are getting killed, and e) Frank Gore is averaging 6.4 yards per carry So, how can Gore end up with only 17 carries? And 22 rushes versus 44 passes overall? The game was close throughout so it's not like they were trailing big time and needed to abandon the run. It makes no sense to me.

The challenge on the pick was a good one, even though he didn't win it ... the first I can think of in a long time.

I guess so, but they had 3 points at halftime and 13 overall so they were pretty much stopped, IMO. Points are what count after all.

Biggest issue vs the Titans is avoiding a major emotional letdown after losing this game, IMO. If their heads are in it then they can win with Barkley.

He has no touch on the deep balls. You can't just gun them downfield. He needs work on that, but that's probably for the off season.

ST sucked. Bottom line. Besides the block they had a shanked 21 yard punt, a missed FG and a penalty on a return late in the game that cost them 20 yards of field position.

Yeah, he learned that it's a lot better to have RBs and TEs helping you on every pass play that doesn't involve the QB throwing it in 1.5 seconds.

Allen needs to learn to manage the game. He forces the ball and runs way too much. This leads to a lot of opportunities for interceptions, fumbles and injuries. He needs to learn when to throw the ball away. Look at Brady: he played like crap but they won because he took much better care of the ball.

Barkley made some nice plays at the end but I would have liked to see Allen as well. Just to see how he reacted to the situation.
