  1. I don't think you can replace more than 2 and not lose ground because of continuity.
  2. I hope so. The way things are trending it may not be so close...
  3. Meanwhile, the Jags RT was moving 2 seconds before the snap. Quite a difference!
  4. Daboll needs to work harder to get the ball to Diggs. They have let the other team take him out of the game way too easily the past two weeks.
  5. A big problem is that the players they had have regressed. Williams, Feliciano and Dawkins are all worse than they were last season. If they can just get them playing at last season's level then that would be a start.
  6. You already have the answer in your post. RBs don't have speed. They don't have a TE that can seal the edge and only one OT that can possibly reach block someone. Maybe you can run it one or twice a game for yuks but that's about it.
  7. Without play action to pull linebackers out of position you aren't going to find a lot of room for slants against those defenses.
  8. They would need to change concept and not run a spread offense.
  9. They were in 2 deep most of the time so the LBs are sitting on those underneath routes. They only went cover 0 occasionally, usually on 3rd and long.
  10. You can't run play action when your OL is getting spanked in pass protection. They are slow developing plays and the defenders are in the QBs face way too quickly. It has nothing to do with how well you're running the ball.
  11. The fact that they think a 50% Cole Beasley is better than a 100% Isaiah McKenzie doesn't speak well for McKenzie, IMO.
  12. Brady isn't being asked to do everything. He never has been asked to do that.
  13. I agree, but there is just too much pressure on him to be Superman. He needs help so it's not all up to him - better protection and a running game. Then it's a lot easier to play within himself.
  14. During the game I posted that I thought he forgot the snap count. It sure looks like it here.
  15. He's probably never going to play a perfect game from a decision making perspective because he wants to make the big play. And the big play is a major part of his game so it's a tricky line to draw.
  16. Maybe they should try him as a blocking TE.
  17. It's just his instinct to try make the first guy miss. The quick throwaway is just not in his DNA.
  18. Of course Allen can escape vs pressure and Jacksonville’s CBs are not as good at Miami’s so Cover 0 is super dangerous for them to play.
  19. How good can a DE be that you can get with a 6th round pick? The Bills got a sixth for Bam Johnson so that's about the level you would assume.
  20. To paraphrase Rick Pitino, Ruben Brown isn't walking out the tunnel. If the Bills OL is going to improve this season and give the team a chance to compete for a Super Bowl, then they are going to need improvement from the players they currently have. Brown will need to avoid the rookie wall and improve over the course of the season, Williams will need to settle in at guard and show that his problems at Carolina were injury related, and Dawkins will need to get back to his pre-COVID form. I think Morse and Feliciano are what they are at this point but if the other three can pick up their games then I think the line will be much stronger as a whole.
  21. Looked to me like the DL guessed the snap count. He was off before Dawkins.
  22. Right now Tampa Bay is the top dog. They have the talent and have proven that they can win it all. But it's a long way to the end of the year. Things may shift in Arizona's or even Dallas's favor before the playoffs.
  23. Gruden never had the opportunity to say that he never made fun of someone with racial names because the email plainly showing that he did was already published. My point is that it’s easy for people to say they don’t have any issues or have never said anything questionable when no one is verifying it.
  24. Jon Gruden said the same thing. At his PC he said that he “doesn’t have a racist bone in his body” and that he “prides himself at bringing people together.” I seriously doubt that he’s the only one in the NFL or elsewhere that thinks and says they’re great but actually has skeletons in their closet.
  25. This would be great, but the Owners will never allow it because of all the nasty things it would reveal about the owners and league employees.
