  1. Yeah, I think it's retirement time. The only problem is they don't have a replacement despite all the money invested in the DL.
  2. This is great, but I think most people already knew that. I guess it's nice for a national audience to see it.
  3. I'm ok with the no calls if they were consistent. If these plays weren't PI then the calls vs Gronk weren't either.
  4. Some serious overreactions in this thread. 😂 He's not great, but he's an average NFL MLB. I don't think the Bills are in a position to "cut him".
  5. Maybe they should hire Whaley 😂
  6. Underperforming with respect to expectations will do that to you.
  7. The Pats averaged 4.9 ypc. The league average 4.4. That’s even though they knew they were going to run on every down and were playing run all the way. So that’s frustrating. But I’m sure what really hurts is that people have been calling the Bills defense soft since the Colts game (some even since the Titans game) and we’re predicting that the Pats would run all over them. The Bills spent all week thinking “we’ll show them”, but then on game day they got steamrolled as predicted.
  8. I’m not sure how you can build a team that passes on 2/3 of their plays and a defense that plays nickel as their base defense, and then wonder why you aren’t tough and can’t run the ball.
  9. Aside from the two playoff losses, this is the most devastating loss in McDermott’s tenure with the Bills. Not only was this a home loss to their main divisional rival that seriously damages their hopes for even making the playoffs, but the manner of the loss clearly rocked them mentally. They got physically dominated, and now you have coaches calling out players in the PC, players snapping at media and fans grasping at straws. The team went into this season with Super Bowl aspirations, but now it’s clear that they have fatal holes in their roster and people seem to be cracking at the realization.
  10. Exactly. An 80% Feliciano would be a major liability.
  11. Not sure he was even that good. He was a solid starter who could "drive the Cadillac" that was built around him as Bill Parcells used to say. If that's what he turns out to be then I'm not sure the Pats can win a championship in this day and age with a QB like that.
  12. I guess, or maybe it just shows the futility of this kind of micro-analysis without knowing anyone's assignments or even the play design beyond the most basic level.
  13. I see good grades from "The Ford Report" (with posters calling people who doubt Ford like Joe B biased) and bad grades from The Athletic. Did they watch different games? 😂
  14. The All-22 gave ford a much lower grade. This seems to be a pattern with outside evaluators coming up with lower grades for both Ford and Edmunds. What do you think is the explanation?
  15. I’m not sure I understand your question. The Patriots are being taken seriously because they have a better record and are on a 6 game winning streak. Seems pretty straight forward.
  16. This game will be won in the trenches, like all big games. On paper, NE seems to have an edge there but that’s why they play the game.
  17. I like him, but it’s tough to see how he could be graded higher than Oliver or Lotulelei.
  18. Yahoo sports app as well.
  19. Depending on what happens with Sanders and Beasley, WR might be #1
  20. To be fair, this was said at last weeks press conference. I doubt he will say that at today's. But it was definitely on my mind watching the game. I know you can't appear to panic when things are going wrong but a plan B and plan C should really be part of the game plan. You should have a plan practiced and ready for all contingencies; for when things are going well and for "when you're down at halftime, with your starting QB injured, and it's raining cats and dogs and the equipment man forgot the rain gear" (to paraphrase Bear Bryant).
  21. Probably taking some time to calm down so he doesn't say something stupid at the PC.
  22. Interestingly, at Fraziers PC, he was asked about making adjustments during games and he said that they try not to make major changes during games because it creates doubt in the players minds about the game plan. I was thinking of that today as the Colts ran the ball right down their throats the entire game with apparently no adjustments at all by the defense.
  23. Daboll doubled down on his philosophy at his press conference this week. He downplayed the value or need for "balance" and kept saying that they will do whatever it takes each week, whether that's passing on every play or running on every play. What's odd is that passing on every play always seems to be the answer. Actually, if you think about the OL and RBs that they have then maybe it's not so odd.
  24. I think the strategy of investing big in the OL is sound. The problem is that they haven't really cashed in on their investment.
