the season thus far has literally come down to a handful of plays we failed to execute. At least 3 wins from just a handful of plays. Sad, but thats the reality.

Johnson looked pretty electric to me. Man RB really arent what they used to be. Even Cook, when he went down and is arguably a top 3 RB, Mattison started for him and only had 180 total yds week 3. Yeh my sentence structure sucked there. Still drinking coffee. I think certain teams like the Vikings or Browns, who have a system in place to run the ball, can put almost anyone back there and run it for about 100 any given sunday.

Back to back road prime time games vs quality opponents. We did well overall.

Sometimes you just dont match up well vs a certain team. The titans are one of those teams for us. They’re an extremely physical team and coached to be borderline dirty. They bully us around a little. Not a good matchup.

I dont really have a problem w the call but I agree with you too. I feel Allen gets that 99% of time. Play got blown up bc Dawkins lost his matchup badly

We didnt lose bc the officials i dont want to come off like that. I just dont get how that spot doesnt at least get reviewed. Yikes.

I have no problem with the play. Their player made a play and beat Dawkins. i still cant believe they didnt give Allen the 1st down on the prior play.

I disagree. The only time the Bills really seemed out of rhythm was after the long delay and during the monsoon. I said it elsewhere, but the Bills score 50pts last night with better weather.

This was one of the most enjoyable wins ive experienced in a long, long time. Im convinced the weather was the only thing that kept us from putting up 50+ on the Chiefs tonight.

Even with that though..there is winning and then there is winning. What the Pats did, even if you were a fan starting 2000, is unmatched. What is there to be bitter about?

I really agree with this. I dont understand how Pats fans can be angry at BB. It defies logic. No wonder athletes and coaches many times get fed up with fans.

I have to admit: Im enjoying the crow im currently eating with this kid. He has really improved this season. Both of his TD catches this season I feel he wouldve dropped in years past, or he wouldnt have been in a physical position to even make a play on the ball. Only 3 games so far but hes on pace to have his best season with the Bills by far. Im loving it.

Eh im not sure. To me theyre very interchangeable. Neither is clearly better nor worse than the other. I think that’ll show itself to be true as they continue to flip-flop their success from week to week.

Its kinda wild to think how close the Ravens are to being 0-3 The chiefs were well on their way to win that game until they fumbled the game away. And yesterday they needed a miracle to beat the lions. I would not be comfortable as a Ravens fan right now.

If you want to make the argument that athletes in the 50s, 60s and 70s would get run off the field today, perhaps an argument can be made for that. But at some point that argument doesnt hold water anymore. Athletes of the 90s would easily hold their own in today’s NFL athletically. Schemes are a whole different story. Like i said in my previous post, even if you only went back to 2000 and started there and only counted the top 2-3 defenses each yr, it would be hard for either of these defenses to make the cut.

Lets not even count all-time bc it’s just silly and i refuse to entertain it. Instead, lets pretend the NFL began in 2000. Thats 20+ yrs of football. Now, lets take the top 3 defenses in the NFL each of those seasons. Those are really damn good defenses to be in the top 3. That over 60 amazing defenses just in 20+yrs of football. Yet somehow after 2 weeks the dolphins are among the top 50 defenses of all time? Dude. This Steelers defense isnt even the best Steelers defense of all time, let alone top 50 NFL all time. Its probably not even among the top 3 Steelers defenses of all time. Did you watch the 2008 Steelers obliterate everyone? You ever hear of the Steel Curtain? They werent given that name bc of their offensive prowess. The Legion of Boom for multiple years. The Broncos that won the SB w Miller. The Bucs that won the SB w the Tampa 2 in the 2000s. The dolphins in the 70s. The Bears in the 80s. The Bears w Urlacher in the 2000s. Heck even the Bills defense that finished top 3 back in the day under Wade Phillips would B word slap this Dolphins defense. Yikes man. Thats just off the top of my head with zero research.
