Great video. Two thoughts after watching: 1) Van Miller was awesome; 2) How in the hell is Andre Reed not in the Hall of Fame?

Some time back in the early 90's my wife and then 6 month old daughter and I went up to Buffalo so I could see a game and the wife and kid could see my family. I had some upgrades on US Air and was getting my wife and child situated in first class when all of sudden the light disappeared. I looked up and there was the largest person I'd ever seen that close up - Bruce Smith getting his mother situated in her seat....he looked enormous that close up....I also played catch with OJ out in front of his house back in the mid 70's - he lived across the street from a good friend of mine in the really ritzy part of East Amherst.....somewhere off of Klein Road if I recall correctly. He had his USC letter jacket on....

Surprised to see the Raiders lower than I would have expected based on the reputation they've tried to create....

I looked at those pictures....ugggg....will attempt (once again) to quit dipping beginning June 12th....wish me luck.

Felser's passing is certainly a bummer for WNY, but really, it's a bummer for the entire league. I'm not sure we who got to read and hear him so often (daily for many of us) recognize how respected he was outside of WNY. That to me says a lot about the man....

I lived in Philly for 8 years and saw the Bills play at the Vet twice. First time I wore a Bills hat and thought I was going to get mauled. Second time I low-keyed it with no problems. Philly fans are the absolute worst, bar none - real pigs.

It's hard to believe that both major league teams in WNY haven't made the playoffs in years. Certainly in pure terms of years, the Bills are more pathetic at this point, but geez, not making the NHL playoffs since 2007 in a league where it seems almost every team makes the playoffs is pretty sad too....My vote's on the Sabre's - they have a longer season, have more time to make adjustments and an owner that seems to want to invest in the team....

Tim Brown? Really? I just don't remember him being HOF caliber....Carter was pretty good though, but not in Reed's league IMO.... Tim Brown? Really? Was he that good? I just don't remember him being that good....Carter I can see. But neither were better than Reed.

I suspect all he's going to get is a nose full of bad breadth...but hey, if it gets us a winning/playoff season I'm for it.

I'd like the Bills to win the SB some time before I die. I'm 52 which means, according to my life expectancy, they've got approximately 26 years to do something....I remain hopeful.

What's the down side if the snow doesn't get shoveled? Are they worried about snow balls being thrown at players? Or are they concerned about fan comfort? I swear I remember going to games in the mid 1970's where the seats weren't shoveled at all - we just swept them off and watched the game.

Hmmm, I must have the name wrong but it's the one that starts out with Chris Berman saying "Sunday morning, Buffalo, NY......" it's the highlights from the 1988 season when they lost to Cinncyin the AFC championship....I'll have to dig that video out and see what the heck it's called....and yes, I still have a video player and no, it's not a Beta Max....

Went through my usual pre-game routine (watching Bills highlights from '88 - a Team, a Town a Dream); got into my game time seating position and before I knew it they're down 21-3. My wife askes me why I'm torturing myself and I ignore her. Now it's 28-3....at this point I say "screw it", get changed and head to the golf course (I live in VA). By the time I get there it's 35-3 and I'm feeling pretty good about giving up on the Bills (first time that I can remember). As I make the turn after nine holes I go into the club house to get a beer and there's no one in there but the bar tender and he's got the game on. I ask him what's going on with the game and he says the Bills just scored to make it 35-31.....now I'm crapping myself. I jump in my car to come home with the game on the radio and the Bills score to go ahead 38-35 and I'm am literally near tears....I get home, wife, kids and her mother are out shopping, I'm home by myself and by this time Houston is about to kick the tieing FG.....of course the Bills win in OT and I'm running around the house screaming, called my best friend from high school (in WNY) and we scream and yell and when my wife gets home I'm in the garage nearly in tears telling her about the "greatest come back in NFL history....." She was unmoved (she's from Philly)......

How about: WILL CHEER FOR NEW OWNER or WANTED: COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE or GOOD LUCK IN YOUR NEXT GIG CHAN

I've seen Glennon play quite a bit over the last two years and while he has a great arm and size, he certainly isn't a first rounder and probably isn't a second or third rounder either. I'd be really disappointed if the Bills took him in any of the first three rounds.

What a great thread...I personally thought we'd win 10 this year and I haven't thought we'd win more than seven any of the last six years.....but on the bright side, I bought a really really nice bridge in Brooklyn last week from some guy at a gas station and I won the Nigerian lottery! And my wife thinks I'm an easy mark....

You know what's really sad? I was just reading the AP article in the local paper here (Richmond, VA) about the game and the last line said that the Bills currently hold the longest active non-playoff appearance streak in the NFL - 13 seasons. I immediately thought about when I'd laugh when I heard that the Lions or the Saints held that distiction and how sad I was for their fans - and now I am one! Ugg....
