It will be interesting to see if the team packs it in or continues to play hard the rest of the season. Tampa's looking good all of sudden, JAX won today - no easy games left....

As an NC State alumni I got to watch Glennon a fair amount. Of course he followed Russell Wilson so he looked like he was locked in cement most of the time. He's clearly not a running type QB. He did have reasonably good "pocket presence" and as someone else noted, he seems to know when to move up/sideways to avoid the sack. He's got a cannon for an arm with decent accuracy. Generally though NCSU fans weren't high on him, but I think a lot of that was because of what we had with Russell Wilson.....

Doug, we still can't wear our stuff

I wish I had a pair of Zubaz.... I proudly where my Bills hats and jacket down here in Richmond, VA and seem to get a decent amount of pity from the local Redskins fan's....This year has been a little better 'cause as we know, the Skins are performing below expectation... -

For those of you who gave up on EJ.....

I asked the question last week about what we've really seen from Manuel. I didn't get to see today's game but listed on Sirius. I also didn't see last week's game but again listened. After less 2/3 of a full season I'm not convinced he's the answer to the long term QB question. Delighted that he played well today, but I think today's win goes to the defense. Believe me, I'd love to see EJM have a long and prosperous career with the Bills. -
I wonder if they can win more than two games the rest of the season? The Jets, Fins and NE games seem like sure losses.....the Falcon's could "get healthy" against the Bills - at least that wouldn't shock me. They should beat the Buc's and Jag's but now I don't feel so confident. Does 3-13 get the Bills a top 3 pick?

is there any question that this team still needs a QB? I mean really, what has Manuel really shown anyone so far? -

didn't the Bills roll into KC undefeated in like 1991 or 1992 during the K-Gun era and lose pretty badly on a Monday night? I think this game is payback - Bills 24 KC 21..... -
Tom Dempsey missed a chip shot against the Bills to win a game back in '73. My dad took me to the game for my birthday and we were sitting in one fo the sections above the tunnel. The kick was at that end zone. It was an awesome birthday present.

Conventional wisdom says you take the points that early in the game....but I really like the confidence in his team that the coach showed by going for it. Not sure why the ran the same play three times in a row - that struck me as more of an issue than the decision to go for the TD. It did seem to me that the Bills went into a bit of a funk after that play until well into the 4th quarter. But I didn't see the game, only listened on the radio so may have added to my impression.

Here's what I think is great about Bills fans - no matter how bad it gets, no matter how often it gets worse when we think it can't get worse (and I was born in the early 60's and have been a fan since I can remember so I feel qualified to comment), no matter how many rebuilding programs the team goes through, we still come back to root root root for the home team....Every year, around early July, I tell myself, despite professional predictions and just knowing better, I get excited for training camp. That first Sunday morning of the new season I'm darn near giddy with excitement. Intellectually I know that the Bills probably won't win more than six games this season, and yet I'm hopeful already for next year 'cause they look like they're playing better and are mentally stronger...We're all hopeless, but what else are you going to do during the fall?

SiriusXM runs the broadcasts as well (and you can choose the home or away announcing crew) if you have an account and can get it through your smart phone....from what I can tell there is about a 30 second delay between what's happening on the TV v. the call from Sirius, generally with Sirius behind the actual play. -
Predictions - Bills v. New England*
chaccof replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The '70's were pretty bad for the Bills v. the Fish....we were 0-for the '70's....came close once or twice if I recall, but when we finally did beat them it was pretty exciting. -
If we're talking strictly football I'll go with Van Miller. I just thought he was an awesome announcer. I also enjoyed Curt Gowdy before he went senile...

Having grown up in WNY and then moving to the south, I was shocked the first time someone asked me if I wanted to play "corn hole." I politely declined. Then the game was explained to me - it's pretty fun. Alot like horse shoes. If you can bowl or throw a horse shoe you can play corn hole....and terrific job on the boards...the buffalo is awesome.

I went up from Richmond to the Pre-season game a couple of years ago (and the regular season game a few years ago when skins kicker missed a late FG and the Bills won). FedEx field is very nice and pretty easy (I thought) to get in and out. Yes, at least 20 bucks to park....you won't have any trouble getting tickets if you want to go.
