  1. It's not - I forgot to put the little smiley emoticon at the end of the original note....at least no one took it seriously......
  2. Vick is free in four months - how about Vick to T.O for six all season long? Why not? It will put butts in seats, would bring much needed publicity to the team and you can bet that there will be no one in the NFL on beter behavior that Vick....and RW could probably get him on the cheap for a year or two....
  3. We both know it never will make it through BUT, I dare say, it will be a long long time before any other team goes to four straight SB's....I still wear my "Never BeFour" hat that I got after the AFC championship game after they beat KC....
  4. On what basis? The fact that he's from Jamestown? Not a chance - the NFL is all about the money and since he's an employee of the owners at least all but one will want him to create the most revenue possible for the league. If LA or Toronto can offer more league revenue he won't stand in the way....
  5. Is it worth the drive up from Richmond? Do they have Genny Cream Ale?
  6. What team would you then follow? I'd go with Carolina myself since I I went to school down there....
  7. Does anyone really think PB will spend any time in jail? He's got a good lawyer and he's attained somewhat HERO status in NY. No way he ever sees the inside of a jail cell (for this current issue)....
  8. That's a pretty good deal then...
  9. Am I to understand that you live in C'Ville (either Charlottesville or Centerville) VA and have season tickets? Thats impressive. If in Charlottesville you must have a 9 to 10 hour drive to the stadium? I live in Richmond and have driven to two games and the best time I could make it was just under 9:15..... And for what it's worth, I am surprised at how relatively inexpensive tickets seem to be based on a couple of posts here - $400/seat or $250/seat - assume that includes pre-season? Hell, season's tickets to see my college alma mater (NC State) cost $4,000 for a license plus another $35/ticket in the nose bleed section, corner of the end zone....Redskin season seats must be over $600 or $700 bucks each but there is a multi-year waiting list. Do the Bills charge a Personal Seat License Fee or anything like that to get seasons tickets? As several pointed out - going to the games is more than just the team (though it's much more pleasant to see a winner I admit).... I haven't lived in WNY since 1979 but you don't realize how much you miss something until you don't have it....
  10. Isn't the old man 90 now?
  11. Pardon me but why in the hell would you want Marty "I've never won a game that mattered" Schottenheimer? So he gets you to the playoff's only to lose there in front of the entire nation, instead of just the home town audience....what's the point? I guess maybe to sell tickets and suck people into the lie? It's nice in November to not have to think about when the Bills will get knocked out of the playoffs - sure the SB years were fun until the actual SB started....then it felt like sh_t until the next year....this way, the Bills go the way of the other 20 teams that don't make the playoffs, we all get an extra three hours back on Sundays...it's a win win...
  12. Perfect, just f-ing perfect....
  13. No, actually it makes me sad. But I rarely get negatively surprised by the Bills....
  14. Boy do we suck.....but I called this loss to SF last week in another thread.... Even Lindel has played down to the level of the opponent today.... But like I said last week - they go to camp in less than eight months, so we can get excited then....
  15. 7-9 and we're looking forward to July when they go to camp.... They lose to SF, MIA, NY and NE and beat DEN
  16. Dia - Just curious - I notice you have 13,344 posts since January of '03 - that's almost 11 posts a day every day since then....how do you do it?
  17. Justification? Let's see, the team has played down to every sub .500 team they've played this year and just escaped with wins against Oakland and Jax. They managed to play down, at home, against a really bad Cleveland team. They have no running game (and let's not get too excited about today - this was not a quality defense that they ran against today). So I'm betting they play down to the 49er's who still suck but are playing marginally better with their new coach. Call it a gut feel after watching the Bills play for 44 seasons (okay, I'm sure my dad had me in front of the radio/TV for the first 4 years but I really can't remember....so I only count the season from '65 on......). But I really hope I'm wrong....
  18. 8-5? No chance.....as much as I loved listening to the game there is no chance of this team being 8-5. In fact I doubt they beat SF next week.
  19. Terrific enthusiasm and great sentiment and all but dude, what are you smoking? Let's say the Bills win two of the next three (which I don't think they'll do since they have a tendency to play down to their opponent), that puts then at 7-5 but still 0-3 in the division. Then they have the remaining divisional games - let's say they win 2 of those (wishful thinking) 9-6 and they lose to Denver - 9-7. That will not only not win the division it won't even get an away Wild Card game....it ain't up to "us" to get things going - these are highly paid, grown men who, if they need to rely on "us" to help them shouldn't be playing professional sports....
