There is no doubt in my mind that Allen was vaccinated. Allen is not going to be the reason the team doesn't succeed. Beasley wearing a mask when the others were not, could be a smoke screen, but I believe the rules are pretty clear for the unvaccinated. Mask it or get fined. After listening to Beasley today, I'm leaning toward he did get vaccinated, so the mask is a smoke screen/top cover/solidarity for the unvaccinated players. He comes out and says he is neither pro nor anti vaccine. What he is, he says is pro choice. I found it interesting that he said something along the lines that bubble players were being coerced into getting the vaccine so as not to give the team a reason to cut them. He was trying to be their voice.

Thanks. Good find. Josh’s public persona vs his football persona are interesting to me. In public his image is the guy a gal wants to take home to meet her parents. On the field, according to Peters of Baltimore, Josh is one of the biggest trash talkers he plays against. Peters goes on to say that its all done in a way that he enjoys the contest but Josh is a real yapper.

A rookie on a rookie scale waiting until 2 weeks before camp to sign spells agent hardball to me. What could they have been holding out for, a better parking spot?

Read an article recently on Knox. Said he worked 6 weeks on hand eye coordination, hung out with JA in Cali catching balls/talking strategy and now TEU. Certainly working his craft. I’m expecting a much better year and maybe a bit more BD/JA emphasis on the TE.

Thanks for posting this. This was well done. I think the interesting thing for me was the discussion of the Bills draft picks. How these guys were all on the Chiefs radar as the type of player the Chiefs would typically select. Coaching tree influence? I like their discussion a lot. Nice to listen to a non-trash-talking take from an opponent's fan base. There was a fair amount of admiration expressed for the Bills team and coaching staff. I think the one thing that is really not coming through in all the talking heads reaction to the AFCCG was the Bills WRs were really banged up for that game. What we know now, torn muscle, broken leg, deep bruises all played their part in slowing down the offense. I'm not taking anything away from the Chief's defense, they played well. The DBs were mugging the WRs and the DLINE was abusing the interior of the Bills OLINE. Should be really interesting to see how the Bills go after them BOTH times this year.

Unless your TB apparently with a stout DLINE and good LBs.

As a life long Bills fan, I'm still getting comfortable with the notion that we have a legit top-5 QB1. All those years wandering the QB and HC desert have left me somewhat cautious. Josh was the guy I wanted on draft night. I was estatic when they drafted him. Last year was THE most fun I have had as a Bills fan in literally decades. Watching them hew down the over-vaunted NFC West and sweep the AFC East made for a delirious ride. Even the Cards game was awesome when Allen led them downfield to give them the lead. I used to joke with people that the Bills were the minor league football team of the NFL where they would draft the players, train them up and then send them to big league teams where their full potential could be exploited. No more. Josh Allen is now becoming a player that attracts talent. Times are a changing. I'd personally like to see Josh match last year's performance. I don't expect him to exceed it as I would hope the rest of the team picks up and truly plays complimentary football as is so oft spoken from the HC. I hope to see growth in leadership. I hope to see him continue to win games when they need him to. I hope to see him manage games when they don't. I hope to see the INTs and fumbles go down. Teams aren't going to get caught by surprise with the wide-open Daboll offense again this year. Josh's play needs to evolve this year. Like every legit top QB-1 seems to be able to do. I do wonder if Simms' mancrush on Josh doesn't skew his e v a l a bit. I personally can't pick him over Rodgers yet. Rodgers has been so clutch and displays all the things I have highlighted on a consistent level over many years. There is so much preseason hype on the Bills. Hard to go from never talked about to always talked about. From hunter to hunted. But it sure is going to be a fun ride for the foreseeable future.

It should be interesting to see the Ravens this year. They lost some big bodies on defense during FA. Their defense plays so well every year because they had the Dline and DBs. Their DBs are stout but benefit greatly from their Dline stopping the run allowing them to play the WRs. If teams start running on them, which I project, the complexion of their defense will change. And if some cracks open up in their rush defense, that is going to put more pressure on their offense. And if their offense is starting to switch to a more pro look (LJ under center), we are going to find out once and for all what LJ abilities are/are not. Their division is as strong as it has ever been top to bottom. There should be some classic battles in the AFC North this year. I saw a report recently that Baltimore QBs were no longer allowed to be filmed during their OTAs. "Ravens coach John Harbaugh explained the team's new restrictions on outside media using video during practice. Harbaugh was specifically asked why filming quarterback Lamar Jackson throwing the football to wide receivers was not allowed at the mandatory minicamp. "The reason is because you're not us," Harbaugh said." Sounds like it's a work in progress. edit: This article came out that puts some Ravens context on the quote above. Short read, but it essentially says the Ravens will allow some filming of a one-on-one pass to receivers, but anything that shows a complex route (2 or more) provides footage for other teams. Ravens don't want that out there.
