  1. News I recently saw was LJ and the other B'more QBs are making a point of emphasis this off season on throwing the deep ball. He is also taking more snaps under center. I suspect we are going to see a more typical pro offense out of B'more this year. I think every team knows you can't run your QB indefinitely. Sooner or later, he's going to get popped by someone. Should be interesting to see if they activate all the new toys they drafted and brought in during FA.
  2. One thing I liked about the Matt Milano interview was his refusal to blame his health for his slow start back from injury. He owned his level of play.
  3. That a Belichickian thing. All rooks get 50 until they earn their number.
  4. I was in the stands for that game. It's one of the few I have seen that really stands out in my long term memory. It was absolutely nuts in the stands.
  5. So I didn't say anything about forcing a player to get a vaccine. And I doubt a player who isn't required to wear a mask is going to wear one. It seems to me the NFL is on full speed ahead to return to normal. Full stadiums, less restrictions on vaccinated players, live draft, etc... So I fully expect reporters will be out of their cars and back in the building by training camps. Again, I just don't see how you can look at that list of restrictions and come to the conclusion that I would rather wear a mask in the weight room, go through mandatory testing every work day, be segregated in the lunchroom, get tossed off of planes for trips if you are in close contact with a positive person, etc, etc.. And yet some will.. Crazy to me.
  6. Dawkins may just be the true heartbeat of the Bills. His interviews are always instant classics. He just comes across as so down to earth and real.
  7. So for all the secrecy of who was vaccinated and who was not, all you will need to see his footage of those wearing masks at the facility. It amuses me how a player can look at the restrictions for not getting a vaccine and saying, "I'm good with that."
  8. Back in the 90s, the stadium also sat 80,000 people making sellouts very challenging..
  9. I put the schedule through my calculator and came out with 20-0 with wins over Mahomes (x2) and Brady (x2). You should rush right off to your favorite bookie before the odds change.
  10. That's crazy. I get she is 5 foot something and he is more than 5 foot something, but that size differential is amazing.. I hope Josh can see over that Ent to throw.
  11. I'm just happy they dodged that long plane ride across the pond. Playing in jolly-ole is well just plain dodgy.
  12. One of my favorite quotes from a Jet's Board "According to the draft value chart, we just traded Darnold for a bushel of unsalted peanuts."
  13. I never adopted "the Ralph", was and always will be Rich Stadium to me. I'm not that inflexible though. When HSBC put their name on the Aud, I called it Hot Sauce, Blue Cheese.
  14. With Watson's character under attack, I would say there is zero chance of him leaving Houston.
  15. If they don't, they should. It's obvious that WRs go there only to block for LJ, be a decoy or watch the TEs get the balls.
  16. Ob-la-di, ob-ba-da, life goes on.....
  17. Curious premise from OP. I can't get behind this. Top to bottom on the roster, the team is good to stacked. They go into the draft for the first time in my memory looking for BPA. My gut tells me something like DE/DT, RB, CB, C/G and LB/FS will be the picks. They're bringing back all coaches, most players and front office. Probably THE most stable franchise, at the moment, in the NFL. These be crazy times. Enjoy the ride.
  18. I found it interesting to hear Beane joke that maybe Josh would give him a "hometown discount." Up until this point, I thought that was just something us fans said/thought/hoped for.
  19. I think they need a bigger body back there to return punts and kickoffs. Glad he's back. He knows the offense and is a useful cog. Go get a bigger body to take the wear and tear of return duties. I think spot duty or change of pace is fine occasionally, but someone dedicated to the spot is what I believe is needed. How about last year's receiver? Hodgins? He's 6-3, 201lbs
  20. Well jeez, when you put it that way... 🙂
