The afterglow 1. Went to my first game this season. Slid right in around 1115a. Stadium was full by 1p, so it must not have been too bad to get in at gate. 2. As many on here predicted, Allen returned to 2020 form today. He played awesome. 3. Two plays is all WFT had. A long catch/run and a muffed kickoff. And with those two, a 21 point lead was cut to 7 and the buzz was completely different in the stadium in the first half. But..... 4. The TD drive the Bills had in the 3rd was a backbreaker for Washington. 5. Give Heinicke credit. He's a slippery fellow. Bills crashed the pocket all day and he just slipped away, time after time. 6. You get a pick, you get a pick, you get a pick (well that one was nullified by penalty) 7. Who says Allen can't throw the ball in the wind? Who said that on here? 8. Great day in AFCE, Bills win and Miami, New England and Jets all lost 9. Allen's day had him re-enter the MVP discussions. 10. Knox is rounding into form. 11. Game ball to Oline that kept Allen's jersey clean-ish 12. Bills D kept WFT under 100 yards rushing.. Well done.. 13. Seems like once every week Sanders has one stretched-out, finger tip catch.

For sure. There is an entire market place set up to resell. The waiting list in Baltimore for seasons is 3,000 long. So if you want to jump the waiting list, you go to the marketplace to buy someone's seasons and their PSL. The PSLs are all sold out in Baltimore. No shortage of folks wanting the tix.

So I wanted to make sure I was presenting the correct info, so I texted my friend about his Ravens PSL experience. Paid $750 for mid upper deck at 10 yard line in 1996. Sold for $900 in 2016 So after holding for 10 years, they essentially did not meaningfully increase in value. Ravens web site says PSLs cost between $750 upper level corner seats (i.e. worst seats in the house) to $8000 (lower level mid field).

I pulled this from the Ravens web site.. Notice the language: In order to purchase Ravens Season Tickets in M&T Bank Stadium, the purchase of a PERMANENT SEAT LICENSE (PSL) is required. A Permanent Seat License is a one-time purchase that transfers the ownership rights of the seat(s) from the team to you. It is a contractual agreement between the team and the PSL Owner and, as long as the tickets are renewed each season, the ownership of the PSL(s) is retained. PSL(s) can be passed down to family members, friends, or sold to other individuals.

It goes with the seats. You have to sell it with the season tix. It's a use, sell or lose proposition. It definitely has value, but it is also an encumbrance when you want to sell it. Most people who want out, know they have to find a buyer for both. But things happen and defaults on season tickets happen too. And in that case, the PSL reverts back to the team for resale. This is how it works in Baltimore. I can't vouch for other teams, but I suspect it is the same. Read the fine print when buying.

So that was the theory pitched when the expansion Ravens came to town. Buy the PSLs, it's an investment. Here is the fine print... If you fail to renew your seasons, you lose the PSL (hence why I dubbed it the personal sucker license). The team could sell it to the next person all over again. My buddy bought the PSL back in the day. He did sell it for a profit, but after holding it for 10+ years, he made about 1000 on four seats..

I was watching that game on Gamepass. Love Gamepass. Washington is vulnerable to QBs runs to the left. Away from Chase. Seemed like they gouged DC that way including a 50+ QB TD run called back for holding.
