It’s nice to hear how humble this guy is staying. He is a perfect fit for Buffalo.

The Bills have drafted amazingly well. However, as you point out there will be some financial pressure to take specific positions in the draft. The age old do you draft BPA or for need issue. Not factored into the discussion here is that FA’s may be willing to get to Buffalo on favorable deals because the team has a very strong core, a great locker room and hopefully will be bringing home Lombardi trophies (I know easier said than done).

It’s hard to believe how well put together this Bills roster is. They had an exceptional game with one, if not the best defensive players in Milano off the field. They really seem to play the 1/11th philosophy to a T on both sides of the ball. No doubt, on given plays some of the players contributed more than 1/11th but no one player had to do this consistently to win. It was a shared responsibility on both sides of the ball. So far, the only question I am asking myself this season is, “how the hell did this team lose to the Steelers?”

Meh, the Sabres situation is pretty much the opposite of the Bills. Too bad Kim & Terry can’t find the right GM coach combo for the Sabres. They keep repeating the bad model of Doug Whaley and Rex Ryan vs. Brandon Beane and Sean McDerrmott.

You watch that and you realize how much of a team game the Bills play. Also shows why Edmunds is well liked by the coaching staff. Excellent game plan and execution on the part of the Bills.

Great story and nice ascendancy of a young player for the Bills. His pick six against the Ravens will live forever in Bills history. What a stunning play.

Hopefully, the Bills will continue to ascend. So far, this has been a really fun season.

I just don’t see it happening. The Bills are also very mindful of locker room chemistry. A trade now is likely to screw that up.

To me the underlying story is that the bias against Josh that came up in the draft lingers even now. Add to that, Buffalo is a small market team that seems to get much of its attention for the stupid act of slamming oneself through cheap tables. At least there has been some attention given to the phenomenal generosity of the Bill’s fan base.

Yet, purely by the numbers JA is not as good this year as compared to last year. In a weird way, this is a very good thing. The Bill’s fate does not hang entirely on Josh’s howitzer of an arm or his ability to scramble. Josh can play human like and not super human like and this D will take care of the rest. Additionally the Bills ground game is showing signs of life. Keep on enjoying the ride.
