  1. Past hour
  2. How did all those other HOF players do on the drill? Arguing he was so great at the gauntlet but ignoring the slow 40 time is comical. Donnie’s important but ones not. And of course for the sake of your argument, your drill is more important. Got it. can’t have it both ways
  3. Staying in bounds and running upfield after catching the 5th ball is the least important aspect of the drill, actually catching the passes while running as fast as possible all while maintaining a straight line is the objective, much like the other pass catching drills at the combine, the route, the speed and ultimately the hands are what are being evaluated.
  4. What about the ones that steal cookies from team press conferences?
  5. What about the thousands that ran faster 40 times and didn't become successful??
  6. No, you are the one who is presumptuous for not accepting an optimistic projection as fact. I tell you what, let's find a fella who was thrown to 5 times on the year and caught them all. That would be 100% catch rate. All you have to do is throw it to that fella ninety times instead of five, and your problems are solved. What, maybe his skill set was such that a low number of targets was appropriate, and you can't simply assume expansion will carry similar results? Nonsense, man, you are just willfully pessimistic.
  7. Did. Nacua run 10ft out of bounds also? And you provided 10 names of guys that also ran slower 40 times, but what about the thousands that didn’t become successful that also ran slower 40 times?
  8. Those games and the Steelers-Ravens games from around that era(maybe a little before then) were great
  9. Defenses have caught on and now are focused on limiting the big play. Think the transition to bigger receivers is to allow for those 50/50 balls where they can post up on the smaller DBs.
  10. I think due to salary cap and aging players rebuilding our roaster with younger cheaper players and adding solid depth is the plan for this season , we are still a playoff team and will always be as long as Josh Allen is our QB and once you in the playoffs anything is possible
  11. That’s changed over the last couple seasons as teams have been working to get more stout against the run. The spending on IOL and RBs shows that many teams are still committed to improving their run game however. As a counter I expect teams to run more MOFC coverages that are better against the run. That means more cover 1 and 3 on early downs rather than 2 and 4. I’m also interested in seeing how teams that go more man heavy do.
  12. This seems like the type of thing an employee would think up because they were trying for a promotion.
  13. Actually, Coleman is hanging out with these guys laughing about people upset with his 40 time... DeAndre Hopkins 4.57 Puka Nacua 4.57 Larry Fitzgerald 4.63 Michael Thomas 4.55 Keenan Allen 4.71 Mike Evans 4.53 Davante Adams 4.56 Allen Robinson 4.60 Jarvis Landry 4.77 JuJu Smith Schuster 4.54 While also laughing about being the fastest time ever in the Gauntlet even over Nacua.
  14. If you see someone in tight bike shorts and you like it but then you realize they aren’t the gender you thought…. Is that wrong? This could go under the “ Asking for a friend” sub genre.
  15. Used to enjoy those 9ers - ‘Hawks games. Always pulled for SF though as I hated the Seahawks and still do. Agree with your take overall though for sure, those were great to watch.
  16. I love me some Musburger. Here's for me the most Musburger moment in broadcasting history, and no it's not McCarron's girlfriend.
  17. How can we talk about safety when we are in a middle of a major crisis with our WR position ???
  18. But we were increasingly predictable and Diggs got tossed like a rag doll. We got hit with Man Coverage more than anyone at the end of the year and during the playoffs. We are making moves to counter that.
  19. If he's affordable I would bring him back just for his leadership and ability to teach the younguns. Actually, scratch that, just give him a coaching position
  20. I hope Hyde retires unless the Doctors say he’s 100% healthy. Neck injuries are not something you want to mess around with or grow old with. If cleared, I’d love to have him back on a one year deal. Or, if he does retire, bring him on in some form of coaching capacity.
  21. I looked it up. Players couldn't grab the face mask since 1964. And stomping on someone has been a penalty since the leather helmet days. But they used to show penalties on highlight reels all the time back then. I mean, how many hockey fights VHS tapes did the NHL release?
  22. I don’t think it’s accurate to say that didn’t work. The Bills have had one of the top offenses in the league for the last 4 seasons. They didn’t win a championship, but they were damn good
  23. Hard to tell. Would love for him to help McD implement a Defense Micah seems to have etched into his brain assistant Coach ? Not sure i want him on the field. New neck injury and he has lost a few steps. Great player for Us and nuthin' but love 👍
  24. Keon Coleman is on his way. As soon as he finishes his 40 from the combine
