  1. Past hour
  2. That’s like not prioritizing “pass rushers that can rush the passes” or “offensive linemen who can block.” Imagine living in a world where you don’t think it’s an important skill for a WR to get open. 😂😂
  3. We've reached EJ Manuel level of mental gymnastics to try and convince ourselves he's going to be good. Watching his targets and catches, this kid consistently has DBs draped all over him.
  4. I can actually hear the crowd in the stadium singing this in unison after a DJ TD!!
  5. Jerry Rice and Chris Carter were slower than Coleman. How did they turn out? I can go in forever about how many WR’s were slower than Coleman throughout NFL history that turned out to be great, but you get the point. I’m not saying Coleman is the second coming, but stop getting hung up on a stupid 40 time and look at the skills he brings to the WR position that the Bills haven’t had since Eric Moulds was in his prime.
  6. We don’t need another slot WR so no thank you to Boyd. Need an outside guy with speed so hopefully Chark or someone else
  7. An OG who's last name is Bills, a FB named Gunner, Frank Gore's son, and a Lovely CB. Am I reading this right?
  8. Obvious this is not expected but getting a guy who has never played football competitively and making him into a viable player would not be unprecedented. Antonio Gates had only played basketball before entering the NFL on his way to the HOF.
  9. Probably battling Spector for the fifth LB spot, and winning it.
  10. Boys is in the regression phase of his career. Could be a one season fill in but I'd pass.
  11. Lol, this is the saddest thread on here in a while. There are people on here that think this WR room is good. We are now suggesting ways to make it even better!! People are talking about adding (in no particular order): Chase Claypool, Kenny Golladay, washed Michael Thomas, washed OBJ, and washed Allen Robinson. What are we doing here? The Bills needed to upgrade the WR room. They needed 2 boundary receivers at the top of the depth chart. They added one guy that was the most polarizing WR prospect, in arguably the greatest WR draft ever. That’s a massive failure. You aren’t going to dig yourself out by adding Kenny Golladay. As it stands the Bills have the worst WR group in the NFL. The TEs are good and the backs can catch but the WRs are last IMO.
  12. The disrespect to Shorter in this thread is something else. He was Richardson's go to target at Florida. Shakir-like in his ability to convert big 3rd downs. Big frame guy with 4.5 speed, not unlike Coleman. Shorter was the #1 receiver coming out of high school. His big question mark is can he stay healthy. Played through or missed time with injuries every season in college. Wouldn't count on him just being a throw away prospect. Coleman wasn't my preference at receiver but all reports say he was Josh's choice at receiver so nothing else really needs to be said about the pick. I'm sure most people have seen the graphic of his 40 time paired with all of his other drill times, in which he was at the top of the charts in most of them. Not everyone is a sprinter. I'd rather have the guy that's quick out of his break at the top of a route than a guy who's quick out of the blocks. It's also something to note, all the small fast guys in Buffalo haven't worked out. McKenzie was the most notable and he was a gadget guy. Coleman, Davis and Pran-Granger all have a physicality to their game and I think that was the underlying theme of this draft on offense. Get tougher. Get more physical. Your star QB can't be the only guy willing to hurdle or stiff arm a guy for a first down.
  13. Everybody complains about his age, but a lot of great RB’s were 24,25 year old rookies (namely Bo Jackson and Billy Sims). Davis will probably be here for only his rookie contract, so just look at it like the Bills will have him for ages 25-28 and probably draft his replacement, if all works out, when his contract is up. Of course, like I said, if it all works out,
  14. They said on ESPN that even close family members struggle with the pronunciation. Actually Nigeria by way of Alaska: "In 1984 his Dad immigrated from a war-torn Nigeria to Alaska to build a better life. He earned on accounting degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage while driving a taxi to pay his tution, Eventually he founded "Consumer Care Network- a company that provides in-home care for the elderly people with disabilities… while establishing a successful real estate business as well. His mom Joyce, followed her husband from Nigeria to Alaska and eventually earned a PhD in psychology, all while raising 5 boys and instilling an unwavering work ethic. "We just put one foot in front of the other” Joyce said. “We’re immigrants. For most immigrants the reason you come here is for a better life. So when you get that opportunity you try to make the best of it. Coming somewhere where you are looking for a better opportunity, it minimizes the struggles. You have to endure the hard work. You don’t see that as struggles because you know where you’re coming from and appreciate the opportunity to make something better for yourself and your kids." This kid isn't only a special teamer: All PAC 12 Associated Press 3rd Team All-American Butkus Award Finalist. Thank you for a GREAT observation. Like Milano and Bernard, this guy plays like he was shot out of a cannon... every play. I really like the Bills linebacker unit now across the board. It should be the best LB room in the McDermott era.
  15. Impossible to not love his personality 😂
  16. Then he's got to go. But my beef goes deeper. I feel like they should have done more in the cutting department. Still carrying some really bad contracts.
  17. He's being called a 'rugby player'. But he plays in the eigth tier of English rugby. I. can't even tell you how far down that is. It's barely pub level. My old club plays 8th tier. He's also a winger in rugby. Which means his attribute is pace and he's too much of a pansy to get involved with the rough stuff. It's weirdest pick I've ever seen. 7th round or otherwise. I presume there are political reasons behind it. If he's a Tackle, I'm Napoleon. But it's a laugh, I suppose.
  18. This isn’t a draft to get excited for, in a traditional way, but it was (probably) exactly what the doctor ordered. I appreciate the philosophy used this off-season and am completely on board with setting the table for next year (2025). If things go well we will make a playoff run this year. It will be superbowl or bust in 2025. IF josh was going to miss time with an injury in his career, this would be the year to do it.
  19. Let me just comment on your desire for drafting a second WR in the later rounds, because that seems to be a criticism many have made. I would argue we already had done that on the current roster. We have Shorter from last year who never got a real chance due to injury. We have Hamler who could be a 4th guy if he can get past injury. Hollins and Isabella. We have a number of guys already in the roster who fit the third round level pick. The Bills have the luxury that we as fans don’t have in that they can watch a guy like Shorter in practice, the film and weight rooms, etc. I think that’s what Beane meant when he said they were OK with the WR room. I’m reminded this time last year when Edmunds had left and there was panic in the Mafia. Beane said that they felt they were OK with what they had, and he was right. Bernard stepped in and had a great year. I suspect that the 4th WR is sitting on the roster right now. Not that I would argue with getting someone like a Sutton or OBJ once Tre’s cap stuff comes off the books. But I’ve grown to believe Beane when he says stuff, and he’s said not to expect a trade anytime soon.
  20. I have a feeling Keon's numbers in college (with a bunch of games with a backup QB) are not that predictive. Just like another Bills player by the name of Josh Allen.
  21. Understand that it's fun to many getting mad, temper tantrums, yelling fire everybody, and attacking everything; these needs are bigger than the game itself! Great post!
  22. With the additions of Samuel and Coleman, this offensive will be a lot more aggressive/explosive. and shakir, along with Kincaid coming into their own? Cook will cook. oh. And we have a CYBORG at QB. And the potential of bringing in a vet wr? everyone needs to chill. We’ll be competitive for sure. This is the first year of retooling for Allen’s second window.
  23. Is it me or does Ray Davis’ running style remind you of Thurman?
  24. I don’t disagree but I also think McDermott has a lot of influence on personnel decisions. That doesn’t absolve Beane but if I had to keep one of them it would be Beane, although my preference would be a clean slate.
