Some of you guys are a little nuts here regarding Denver. I hate to say it, if they get home field as the #1 seed, they're SB bound. Remember, Denver is a dangerous place to play for any team. Denver & Seattle are really tough on visiting teams, no way the Broncos are going away easily.

Cosell comes on One Bills Live with Chris Brown and Steve Tasker every week. This doesn't sound different from what he's been saying all year.

He is pretty spot on and he is one of the better analysts. I would say the Bills talent wise are in the top half of the league, but if you said top 10 not sure I would agree with you. The best talent besides Josh is Cook & the Offensive line. Shakir is a great WR3 as a slot and when he has more help he is very dynamic. Maybe next year with better outside help you will finally see the potential of a 1000 yard + type guy which he has. TE wise Kincaid is pretty skilled and Knox & Hawes do some very good things. In a vacuum without looking at the Bills WR corp the offense is superb ... with the WR corp you see the holes and it is pretty good to great at times because of Josh & the line. The defense is a whole other animal. Oliver & Benford are probably the only two "elite" players they have and I use that word very loosely here. The DT youth in Walker & Sanders could become prominent down the road and Bishop & Hariston look like possibly good starting players in future years. But after that it is a whole lot of JAG's and guys who McBeane believe their overall contributions of being 1/11th supersedes the talent side. It is telling that the best Bills LB this year has been Shaq Thompson by a mile and he was a street FA. Joey Bosa has been the best DE and has been very solid but again he was a FA lottery gamble where if healthy for the money paid he could be solid & thankfully has been. Groot has been fine I guess but again for what he is paid you can do better. When half the defense could be replaced in the offseason that is not the most glowing endorsement of the talent there. Injuries have absolutely limited the ceiling of the defense this year, but fact remains they are more opportunistic at best then they are a good talented unit. So Cosell is unfortunately very accurate there. With all that said and the state of the AFC they absolutely can make a run and with how the offense has been this last month as long as they still relatively mistake free (within reason) they can win a lot of games 28-20 or 30-23 where the defense does enough and the offense drives the train as it has. I wish the defense could do more given where the investment has went draft/fa wise but it is what it is. If the Bills fall short in the postseason mark my words you will be more angry at Beane not getting a good WR in then the defense underperforming at this point.

The random mid week injury thing is getting comical. We can’t afford to be without Mitch this weekend.

Tomas (of course you know) and further honestly I am comfortable with him capping at 2 receptions a game (34) next year. Don't get me wrong, i would love more. However, I think even at 2 (maybe 3) a game he provides something valuable and unique compared to some of the other guys. ...with the Allen trust being so key.

Agree, frankly I want the 1st round to last as long as possible, I enjoy the draft night. Plus, the time is not for teams to debate who they are taking (they have a board they already know!), it's to make trades. I'm fine with it even being 15 minutes.

The two biggest plays of the year so far were the Bosa sack/forced fumble of Rodgers and the Benford pick-six last week, and somehow they both ended up injured immediately afterwards. Bills Luck.
