President Trump Cracking down on Crime in our Nation's Capital
B-Man replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
FTA: We should also note that many of the measures the Trump administration has taken are, by necessity, temporary. The National Guard troops and the surge of federal law enforcement can't be sustained indefinitely. It's also very likely that, despite the arrests already made, a certain number of the goblins that infest the District are smart enough to lie low, to keep a low profile until, they are likely presuming, things go back to normal. The increased law enforcement and the National Guard troops are effective at reducing street-level crime. Showing the flag like this generally is. But the root causes have to be examined, rooted out, pinned down, and addressed as well. In determining those root causes, one should take a close, hard look at the justice system within the District, from prosecutors to judges. Revolving-door justice systems are all too common in Democratic jurisdictions, and the District's revolving door is notorious. Then, and only then, will the nation's capital city's crime problem be fixed. https://redstate.com/wardclark/2025/08/26/new-the-no-homicide-dc-streak-ends-n2193250 The D.C. Tyrell Shavers makes initial 53 man roster

Are we down to 53 yet? Does this mean we kept 6 WR's or are we still not down to 53 -

Did they keep the TE / Punter?

Cam was insane He literally played on an island like darrelle revis at UB He was one-on-one all game.. played with a club, played with degenerative bone disease and was absolutely UBs best player his senior year Now I'm not saying Sean wasn't a beast but to say cam was not a beast is inaccurate UBs system allows heavy stat stuffing for their linebackers... Red Murdock is the linebacker that is finally going to be the off ball linebacker drafted from University at Buffalo He's gonna go off this year and get drafted

Do we have any word at all on the final roster?
-
Buffalo needs a cornerback on the roster that Keon Coleman can beat in a race?

The swifties are out in full force I see 😂😂😂😂

Dolac was by far a better college player than those three.

Fair enough. I suppose that my point remains that the anger/frustration/vitriol largely seems to get mis-directed toward Swift, when it should be directed toward the league and/or the networks. She's not doing anything wrong. The networks and league potentially are. That's who people should be upset at, if anyone.

Chargers release safety Tony Jefferson

I know most people here would blanch at safety in the first round but I really think we need an elevation there. -

Oh no, waived No more White Steve https://fightinggobbler.com/former-virginia-tech-play-making-wide-receiver-cut-by-super-bowl-contender

Yes, I think practice squads are allowed 16 members. Teams with an Internationa Pathways Program player can keep that player on the PS and not have it count toward their practice squad limit.

I agree with your overall point. but yes, some of people in the James Jones massacre and the branch davidians knew and wanted out. I don't believe followers of Jesus were/are the same. No one stopped them from leaving or coerced them into joining. he's a loathsome troll. adds nothing ever.... -

Can you imagine if Beane had done this (‘22 draft)…
Sierra Foothills replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got more frustrated with BananaB. You said that it would be nice if McDermott adapted a bit and I replied that I thought he had, based on the numerous offseason moves. Then he asked me if I thought people should be happy with the offseason moves, which misses the point completely. My point is that the Bills did adapt and invest in the defense... that's all. There's a difference between an investment and a return on investment. We have to wait on the return on investment but in the meantime, I guess some people want to pre-judge the moves and complain without waiting to see how it turns out. -
Movin' on up...who knows where. 🤔

I think this is the full circle moment. Even if it's only for 20-30s per game, this is what watching her cheering on KC during a broadcast evokes in me every time I see it.

Remarkably simple question. Have you added anything to this thread? Evidence? Names of 1st documented century folks specifically mentioned in historical documentation. Evidence of the lives of people after this verified life that supports your view? Anything? -
At least not at either of the safety positions.

Draft position is such an overlooked detail. When you are consistently picking at the bottom of every round it is just mathematically harder to land better players. Not impossible, but there’s a reason why draft picks command such a high value.
