  1. Past hour
  2. Can’t get intercepted if they never throw you the ball. You guys may be right, but I doubt McD/Beane would have had such high praise about Gabe if he was constantly screwing things up. I think there’s a really decent chance he’s on the roster. I think they will disagree with the assessment that we are better off without him. I also think they will remember last year where Coleman, Cooper and Shakir all missed time. I think they would rather have Gabe step in to start than KJ Hamler.
  3. It has to be one of the Safeties- either Bishop or Forrest. The elephant in the room is Hamlin. We all know he's slow & terrible in coverage, maybe the worst coverage in the league. And we all also know that there's a really good chance that McD will still continue to start him, because he "knows the system"... It has to be one of the Safeties- either Bishop or Forrest.
  4. I’m getting sick of bringing back guys the other teams cut.
  5. Thats hyperbole. Not counting his KC game (best clutch Bills wr game ever) Davis is a better playoff wr. Every wr has fumbled and drop passes. His success rate and catch % is within single digits to Hollins with significantly higher volume and more yards per catch. He didnt become TO after the 4 TD 200 yard playoff game. But he wouldn't be brought in as the number 1. He would add to the room and offers more actual NFL production then all the wrs not named Shakir in the room.
  6. That was an epic collapse by Cleveland last night. Not just blowing a 7 point lead late but the way they did it, giving up two offensive rebounds off missed free throws and two turnovers, was really extraordinary.
  7. How many of the six interceptions were partly Mack's fault?
  8. Mack had 3 drops per PFR with a drop% of 6. and he only got open enough to get 50 targets. Gabe has almost 1000 more yards than Mack and 14 more TD’s despite playing 38 less games than him. I don’t think that the difference between Mack and Gabe is Jerry Rice-sized but they aren’t really comparable. Gabe was good enough to get a big contract in FA. Mack Hollins is on his 6th team.
  9. It was blacked out although if you had satellite back then apparently you could get the game as my dad watched it at his uncles who had satellite. And yes the correct number in attendance was 750k and the snowbowl had 300k vs IND
  10. Thanks. Great explanation. I appreciate it.
  11. I wouldn't be so sure as Beane and McDermott have raved about his work ethic in the past. It does tell you something about Gabe though where the Jaguars purposefully decreased their 2025 cap room by about $13.8m just to get rid of him.
  12. Davis is a significantly more prolific Wr. Would be brought in for the league minimum due to the guaranteed money from Jacksonville. Compete with Coleman and Palmer for playing time.
  13. My ranking assumes everyone is fully healthy: Shakir Palmer Samuel Knox Kincaid/Coleman Moore Shakir is easily #1. Palmer is easily #2. After that it becomes tighter. I put Samuel #3 because when healthy he has proven to be the most productive of the remaining players. It's possible he has just totally fallen off a cliff in which case he'd be near the bottom, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I'm surprised everyone is ranking Kincaid over Knox. Based solely on last year Knox was clearly the more reliable pass catcher. And I don't take Kincaid's knee injury as a good enough excuse for his lack of production. To my eyes he was drifting on routes, he wasn't adjusting to defensive coverage, and his hands were too unreliable. He has a higher ceiling than Knox but as of today Knox is the better player. I put Kincaid and Coleman together because I have them in the same bucket of young pass catcher who has been inconsistent but appears to have a higher ceiling than what they've shown to this point. I'd say I'm probably slightly more optimistic about Coleman at this point because he's younger and more raw, so more room to grow IMO. Moore I have last. I'm pretty down on him. He's entering year 5 and hasn't been able to stick anywhere. Bad QB play doesn't fully explain that career arc. I see him as just Shakir's and Samuel's backup. He'll play when injuries inevitably come up but he's been way too unreliable throughout his career to count on him for a full time role.
  14. A burnt Sta-Puff Marshmallow Man?
  15. Holins made some cutch catches, had a high football IQ, and was character that the fans really enjoyed There is not a single situation in which I would welcome Gabe Davis back to the Bills We were a better team minus Gabe Davis, and the players here already are better than Gabe Davis
  16. At least there's comfort knowing they have a game plan for the front office...
  17. I dont hate bringing him into camp and seeing what he can be. Similar to Dane Jackson, if you get 1 year of serviceable play, I'm not complaining
  18. If he is a league minimum ( suggested given that he already has a high pay from his jags team that gives him no financial motivation to get a bigger deal just like Russell Wilson did - Greg from cover 1 posted on this ) then bring him in if he doesn’t make the team doesn’t make the team
  19. FWIW, I have a very close friend at the Steelers as some of you know. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago on a few things. He thinks Watt is about to fall off a cliff and if they could get a 2nd, they should jump at it. This was before the draft and I’d imagine he’s even more emboldened.
  20. Because he was paid as a high end 2 by the previous GM and coach. They drafted Hunter #2 to pair with Thomas Jr. With the money still owed Davis would be a league minimum signing. No risk move. Can do everything Hollins did last year but a better wr. If Coleman and Palmer emerge as significantly better it costs the same as any camp body. I dont understand the push back at all.
  21. Bad things happen when you throw to Gabe Davis.. To my knowledge, Mack Hollins didn't fumble, have a dropped pass, or Josh didn't throw an INT when throwing his way. What happened when josh threw to Gabe? Sure some more explosiveness. But drops, fumbles and INTs when targeting him . Also, Mack was elite at special teams where Gabe doesn't play
  22. Amen to LeBron being out. I actually wouldn’t mind really any team at this point, except the Celtics. That warriors team is so different now— just a bunch of grinders mostly.
  23. thinking this is ed olivers make or break year. no more excuses after the draft and free agency signings
  24. Pacers all the way. Eff Cleveland... Nice to see a new team win what is obviously a flawed League.
