  1. Past hour
  2. What a wonderful trip down memory lane. Of course, nowhere did I say EVERY year. Yes, two seasons were tougher. As this season appears to be shaping up to be as well. Which is why I said BASICALLY every year...and not something more definitive such as LITERALLY every year. Speaking in basic reference, the Bills have had it easy in the division. Josh Allen's 32-13 record against AFCE teams can attest to that. But yes, there were 2 blip years where they had it more difficult.
  3. Remember when Allen threw the ball at a Chiefs player several years ago? If a KC player had gotten up and punched him, would you have said "actions have consequences?" What about the time he pointed and taunted a Bengals player a few years back? Did it vs the Dolphins once too. Is that bad, or only if Mahomes does it?

  5. Yep, suppose that's fair.
  6. 2 hours in Atlanta traffic is like 2 and a half miles.
  7. Misspent evenings with the remote in my hand.
  8. it is if it happens once
  9. The fact that the Fins haven't called a press conference yet is pretty shocking. It's 1:00 on Monday already.
  10. What about the jump balls and contested throws? Watching him seems a lot of those plays the ball is hitting the ground. That’s what Beane said was his strengh. Maybe I’m seeing something different.
  11. I'm sure that Branch will be fined, at a minimum. Smith Shuster will be fined as well. However, I'd be surprised if Mahomes was reprimanded for his actions, despite the NFL proclaiming in the off-season that taunting would be a point of emphasis for the 2025 season.
  12. well, also rarely is a big deal made out of one miss if you are early to the hundreds of other deadlines

  14. When you have the MVP at quarterback you want to limit possessions /Sarcasm
  15. Exactly. That’s why Branch will be fined and possibly suspended.
  16. Chiefs and Broncos, otherwise yea it's not a great week.
  17. I honestly don’t care about them. They suck, and moving on. McDaniels is a flop as a HC. Probably a good OC. If he was smart he’d make an Irish exit plan and take an OC job somewhere. If you guys don’t know that phrase, it means when you’re done at a work event or something, you just quietly retreat and don’t tell anyone. If you did, and liked or loved, you spend 45 minutes saying goodbye. Easier to just slip away. I wish the best for McDaniel, but he just wasn’t a head coach. It doesn’t mean he’s not brilliant.
  18. Yes it has. Even McDermott knows his defense is trash. He's trying to keep them off the field as much as possible. It's not the worst strategy to be honest. We have an offense capable of sustaining long drives and converting 3rd and 4th downs. I would prefer the opposite strategy. Let Josh go up temp score early and make the opponent abandon run game or at least pressure them into having the discipline to keep running down a couple of scores. But if they stick with ground and pound and score 7 points after a 6 -8 min drive, there is nothing wrong with that.
  19. We’ll have our son (and his wife) with us, plus our grandson from our older son (who passed away). All HUGE Bills fans, with our son going to Bills games in Buffalo without at times these days. Our grandson is almost 12 and lives almost 2 hours north of the stadium, but his aunt and family are driving in to the game so we don’t have to worry about getting him home super late or him missing a day of school. He’d be fine missing school, but this is ideal with easy transportation for him.
  20. Remember when Andy Reid's game and clock management used to be awful? Then he got Mahomes, and now in the popular imagination of NFL fans he's been a flawless head coach since 1999. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2019/1/18/18185839/andy-reid-kansas-city-chiefs-clock-mismanagement-timeouts
  21. He got souch hate for being such a good actor.... That's why he hasn't done much acting since then His character was that hated, bozos thought he was Joffrey
  22. "In other news today, plans were announced that Terry Pegula will underwrite a major sponsorship of PSU football, and name Kevyn Adams as athletic director for the university." 🤔🤨 (And in keeping with a few miscues by readers in other threads, that is totally, I say, TOTALLY sarcastic fiction.)
  23. I can't say what actually happened behind the scenes at PSU, but he was still telling that story when he first started there.
  24. Yep, wanting rid of Baker was Stefanski, being obsessed with Watson was Haslam. And yep, Stefanksi's game and clock management are awful. I made this point yesterday when people were shouting for him as a replacement for McDermott. I do think Stefanski can coach. He is a good offensive play designer. He has also been smart enough to hire a top DC and then give him control of the defense. But I think he is really a good OC masquerading as a Head Coach.
  25. its on ESPN
