  1. Past hour
  2. Not sure how they are coming up with their information for the graphic... the guys listed are about half a billion short.
  3. The Jets have played the Bills tough at MetLife in recent seasons. Even in the Bills 23-20 win last year there the Jets missed 2 FG's and an extra point. I would expect the Bills will have another tough game with them when they go there in week 2.
  4. Retirement is great, but I really miss the views, especially over the North Atlantic, Alaska on the way to Asia, or the gorgeous Andes descending into a South American destination. Best wishes for you as you wind it up. To extend the Navy blessing, Fair winds and following seas.
  5. You probably couldn't afford one either. Shouldn't throw stones.......
  6. I see what you did there. And yes, that poster is one.
  7. @Rochesterfan, not sure why you disagreed on my post... The math is the math: 1. Prior to new deal: Cook would have been paid $5.3m cash this season 2. New deal: a. $15m guaranteed at signing in 2025 b. essentially another $10m guaranteed by day 5 of 2026 league year c. rest in 2027/2028 So old = 5m gtd vs new = $30m gtd (essentially $25m guaranteed by this time next season), wouldn't call that a severe overstatement by agent --- as Bill posted
  8. It is a bit mind numbing that Allen and the Bills just can’t get past KC. It’s a bit like the Bills 4 SB losses. At some point, you just wondered… what can they possibly do to win? I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it again… Beane needs to have a team of scouts that are doing nothing but watching every game KC and Reid have played and figure a way to beat them. They simply cannot rely on McD to figure it out. Four losses is enough. They have to do something a bit drastic. Adding rookies to your DLine I don’t think is gonna get it done. Also… why is it our coaches all get poached… but Spags just stays in KC forever!? And knows exactly what to do to beat Allen. WTF
  9. You’re right. I won’t. Bootstraps. Don’t you mean pardon him? Or is that just for insurrectionists (and, to be fair, Hunter Biden)?
  10. As SoonerBillsFan said above, Elway won a Super Bowl only after Denver jettisoned Dan Reeves and Mike Shanahan took over after Wade Phillips was fired.
  11. And you probably can’t afford one. Tomato tomatoe. Still waiting on those stories. And yes, the scenario described by that poster is hyperbolic.
  12. Well, I'm ready to go war for this guy
  13. I'm not going to waste my time looking up your silly posts. You claimed, on quite a few occasions that his actions, specifically with Iran, were threatening to get us into WWIII. After the third time you made that claim, I specifically asked you what you were referring to. You either linked or mentionned the killing of that terrorist general intent of killing US deployed troops.
  14. Hey, Sherpa...congrats on the retirement!!..I'm a 737 CA in ORD with 15 months to go..will retire off the narrowbody. Couldn't agree more about the controllers in Chicago. Folks here have only hit the tip of the icebergs here with fix names and stories behind them. Hope you are enjoying football more now that you dont have to keep packing the suitcase...Go Bills!!
  15. Agreed. Every camp I've been to, though not many, Pegula has been there. Off to the side, talking to Beane or McD, but not intruding. Why wouldnt he be there? Frankly, as an owner who is relatively new to the NFL, and who struck oil (or natural gas) hiring McBeane, he needs to be listening to them so he knows the type of guys to hire when he eventually replaces them. No job is forever in the NFL, and even if they are wildly successful, you end up replacing them eventually. Even Kraft had to replace BB. If I were the owner, I'd be tagging along as a fly on the wall. See how people operate, what works, what doesnt. Gotta be able to steer the ship a bit.
  16. I'm really glad we get to play the Dolphins twice a year.
  17. Sanctions have worked so marvelously. Let's see if we can turn the petro dollar into the petrol nickel.
  18. REMEMBER THESE HEROES ? NBC News: Here's the Texas Dems' Exit Strategy John Sexton Yesterday we learned that the Texas Democrats who fled the state to prevent a quorum and block a vote on redistricting were making plans to return home. Even though the article, from an ABC affiliate in Texas, didn't have a lot of detail it was pretty clear that the plan was to fold up their traveling tent and declare victory in some fashion. Today, NBC News has a more detailed follow-up story which goes into detail about the Texas Dems' exit strategy. Texas Democrats met late into the night Tuesday then again Wednesday, including breaking into smaller groups, to discuss their next steps and what their ultimate exit strategy looked like after spending the last 10 days out of the state, according to four sources close to the talks. https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2025/08/13/nbc-news-heres-the-texas-dems-exit-strategy-n3805791 https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/democrats-fled-texas-block-gops-redistricting-plan-weigh-exit-strategy-rcna224719 .
  19. The raw numbers are fine...he didn't play well. QBR (overall ranking in parentheses): Jayden Daniels (4) Drake Maye (17) Bo Nix (18) Caleb Williams (28) Penix didn't start enough games to qualify for the season leaderboard, but his QBR from his 3 starts would have likely placed him around Maye and Nix. Era-Adjusted ELO - I pulled each first rounder dating back to Josh Allen's class for fun (26 of them) and pulled their Era-Adjusted ELO through their first 17 starts (the number that Caleb has started), or if the 1st rounder didn't even make it to 17 starts in their career, then whatever their career ELO ended up being. Ranking amongst the 26 in parentheses: Jayden Daniels - +63.6 per game (1) Bo Nix - +53.7 per game (4) Drake Maye - +9.8 per game (8) Michael Penix - -35.0 per game (17) Caleb Williams - -47.7 per game (18) For reference, 9 of the 26 had a positive era-adjusted ELO through 17 starts: Daniels, Lamar, Herbert, Nix, Stroud, Jordan Love, Burrow, Maye, and Kyler Murray. The folks ranked below Caleb's rookie year are: Kenny Pickett, Trevor Lawrence, Sam Darnold, Justin Fields, Dwayne Haskins, Zach Wilson, Bryce Young, and Josh Rosen. PFF Grade (position rank in parentheses): Jayden Daniels (6) Michael Penix (8) Bo Nix (22) Drake Maye (40) Caleb Williams (44) And if you just want to go off of the eye test and watched the games, he simply did not play well. Now how much of the blame you want to place on him vs. poor coaching, OL play, etc. is up to you, but I don't think there's really any argument that he wasn't disappointing. I'm not saying he was a trainwreck or anything and I personally still like him quite a bit as a prospect. But yeah, he was hyped up to be one of the best QB prospects of all time and instead was arguably the worst in his class as a rookie.
  20. Might already commented on here but where can you find online to watch episode 2?
  21. CJ was blind. He had negative vision. He was always a superb athlete. He wouldn’t be better than James Cook today. He’d probably be what he was. A very fast athlete who was a bust. Sean Payton couldn’t use him. It wasn’t creativity
  22. According to my research, that Jack Jones passed away last year at the age of 86 years old... so I'm unsure whether it's the same guy. I'll defer to the more knowledgable fans on this one.
  23. Are you okay? feel like you have posted something like this every couple of hours.
