He was a great one. Not much more sad than a situation like this. -
Bo Nix and the Bronco's Defense - the Toughest Out for the Bills?
boyst replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jaguars have the defense to contend with us and unlike any other team on that list have am offense that can keep up with us controlling the clock, running the ball, etc Their offense is a lot like ours for the results and effectiveness (or ineffectiveness). -

That label has aged well. the more we see of them, the more perfectly that word describes them. -

George Blanda played into his late 40s. Even a bit of QB. And this was in an era when they grabbed a smoke & a beer at halftime. Morten Andersen came back & briefly played when he was around 50. -

Bo Nix and the Bronco's Defense - the Toughest Out for the Bills?
Cray51 replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every team in the playoffs right now is a "they COULD beat us, but I'd bet on us". Jags - unproven Patriots - just beat them Denver - We whooped them last year, and their defense hasn't played a Josh Allen yet this year Steelers - cmon Chargers - Playoff chokers Houston - we will likely have the better record, bring them into cold Buffalo and let's see what happens And if somehow Indy makes it in, I'm very comfortable dealing with them Ravens? Lamar is a shell and Henry wont run as well No excuses - Bills will be favored in any matchup against these teams - home or away -
The Browns were ridiculously banged up yesterday in Chicago, including missing most of their offensive line. If those guys don't play again, it really should be an easy win, even though Cleveland's defense has been much better at home than on the road the past couple of seasons.

Bo Nix and the Bronco's Defense - the Toughest Out for the Bills?
Dan replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think, for me, the Broncos are easily the toughest matchup. Their defense is easily the strongest - from pash rush and secondary, they’re solid! I agree with others their offense doesn’t set the house on fire, but they’re efficient. Texans have a tough D, yes. But we’ve played them and I just think that gives us a bit more of a comfort zone in what to expect and game plane for. Similar to the Ravens. Although we can lose to any of these teams as we’ve seen, we can also beat any of these teams. The Chiefs were the only team that I think just got into the Bills’ heads. -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Buffalo716 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saying somebody hasn't hit their ceiling and saying he's not going to run for 15 touchdowns is pretty different bro I think Maye is talented.. he's a big strong mobile pocket passer who can improvise outside the pocket and run Thinking he's going to be on the dual threat level of Josh Allen is crazy... Josh broke the all time quarterback rushing touchdown record he's not even 30 .. the best dual threat ever That is an elite dual threat that nobody is on that pace.. even Lamar doesn't score like Josh So no offense Drake Maye probably be a top 10 quarterback , doesn't mean he's going to be breaking rushing quarterback records... Josh isn't afraid of getting hurt or taking contact despite the bills telling him to stop taking it.. that's why he's on a different level as a dual threat because he bullies defensive players who are paid to bully quarterbacks He's the hammer not the nail -

My impression of the guy is he doesnt want to be responsible for a program. He dresses like a teenager, dances nonstop when music is played during games, and seems to very much like to be seen at High School events. Seems very impressed with himself. Meanwhile every Dad is saying "Our idiot kicker" under their breath when they see him. All of that said, he's done a good job with the kickers at the school. He also helped his son get a teaching job in the district. His son is semi famous as well. He's the starting QB from the Jared Goff Transfer Video -
Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Ghost_002! replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
You didn't say he has hit his ceiling but you know what he is gonna do for his career?? See what i am saying? You don't know how his career is gonna go in anyway. He is capable of scoring 15 TDs w his feet again did you not seeing him running step for step with Henderson? ...coaches rather him not run crazy cause thats how you get killed. I rather my QB run when he has to not because he can. There is a difference thats why Brady lasted so long in the league. Or Aaron Rodgers ( Allen running is not a knocked on him) It's so weird how you dare mention Allen with another QB and how offended fans get. Especially when They don't even understand what you mean.. I never said Drake Maye is better than Allen..but talking like Maye can't become elite is just hilarious reading..(not saying u are saying that)
