  1. Past hour
  2. Tim Duncan said it best it takes a lot of luck to win a championship. I'm confident this team has the talent level it just comes down to in the playoffs where the margin for error is slim can they execute against the elite teams? I think they can and will just have to get some luck with health (like every team) and hope positive player development continues to occur.
  3. Yes! Finally an area where I can weigh in as an expert. Here's my rankings: Jackson #94 - A+. Scorching. One of the best EDGE numbers, should look great on him, and I don't mind the connection to the Aaron Schobel legacy. Hancock #37 - A+. Oh my, yes. The Nate Odomes Classic is one of the best numbers for the secondary. It works great for boundary CBs, nickel CBs, and safeties. Which also fits well with Hancock, since he'll probably play a bit of everywhere early in his career. Prather #81 - A+. Great fit for a fairly tall deep threat WR who isn't super fast. Just looks right. Great choice, Kaden - no notes. Hawes #85 - A+. Excellent choice for a blocking TE. I would've also accepted 87 or 88. Hairston #31 - A. Solid number, although I wouldn't have minded a number in the 20s for such a fast guy. I'm somewhat of an old curmudgeon on numbers, but I think Hairston could also pull off single digits. Still, 31 should be a nice fit for his frame, and I like that we don't have a lot of prominent #31 already. Opportunity for Hairston to own that number. Walker #96 - A. I was worried he'd try for a single-digit number like in college, which would've been an absolute disaster on his giant frame. (Zero was salvageable because of roundness, but Keon has that locked down already.) A giant like Walker needs a number that won't make him look silly. This might have been the best options available - I think only 99 would be real competition. Lundt #77 - A-. Good fit for his frame; those 7s look good on a tall and lean guy. Very solid choice! I tend to prefer 77 as a defensive number, but it'll look good on a RT as well. Note that my rating will drop to a B+ if Lundt moves inside to G. Sanders #98 - B. I don't love 98 for a quick, penetrating DT, but it's not awful. Would've preferred most other options in the 90s, but at least it's not in the 70s or something gross like that. The 70s are for DEs, not for DTs. Strong #43 - C-. I'm sorry, but 43 is a safety's number. Unless he's planning to switch positions, I can't get behind this.
  4. Depends on the defense. On paper they are better, but will they show it on the field. If they do, then the Bills have an excellent shot to get to the Super Bowl and win it. If not, then it won't happen. Allen plays great but he can't lead the Bills to the Super Bowl by himself as we have seen over the years.
  5. I agree the defense sucked, but at the end of the Chiefs game, the D made two stops, giving the Bills offense two chances to win the game. Great offenses win the game right there. The offense has two chances to win,and failed two times. Yes the defense needs a complete overhaul. Why does the offense get a pass?
  6. I think there is a VERY good chance this is our year. But I've also felt that way the last 3. And it could have been. But we fell short. If we don't at least make the Super Bowl, it's time for new leadership.
  7. i HAVE A GOOD FEELING FOR SURE
  8. I say yes and by a mile. My gf has a double masters in nursing from New York and California (and Ontario). She single handedly kept me motivated last year during the KC stretch. She loves Dion and for good reason, class act and amazing player. Not sure how many fans here like hockey but itโ€™s the same thing. Toronto = Buffalo
  9. Exactly. Josh just loves to play and win. Like all the greats, he's fiercely competitive regardless of the sport or game, and this has been well documented going back to his high school and college years.
  10. While that's mostly true, that still was his mindset and personality, and the Bills in '25 (as per the OP question) would never have someone like him in that room.
  11. He's an absolute stud. He played for my beloved Georgia Bulldogs. He will be missed
  12. If we are talking on the field play only - I'd feel very comfortable with Flutie, slightly less so with Fitz and Orton, and generally okay with Tyrod or Holcomb as caretaker types. And I'd obviously take the version of Bledsoe we saw during the first 8 games of 2002, but nothing thereafter. Some decent backup options when we look at our former QBs through that lens. If we are considering attitude, leadership and likelihood of being a helpful backup, I'd probably focus in on Fitz and Tyrod.
  13. I really hope she does find out. Too many times this happens and then they get away with nothing but a fine or a warning. If they want to stop these nut jobs then prosecute to the fullest extent and make an example out of her.
  14. They are mentioned.
  15. I've seen Starks interviewed many times here in the ATL and he is one of those I want to be the best and to be the best I have to play the best kind of guys. I wanted him for the Bills. Love the Hairston choice. Both Hairston and Starks will be difference makers in the NFL.
  16. I hope Allen lowered his 237lb shoulder on this punk and levels him
  17. That's good enough for me Half the posters here probably have pain-in-the ass spouses that they support who don't sleep with them, so I fail to see the issue here. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. Not following. They had eunuchs back then. I don't believe they're mentioned in the bible. I think he'd be against both. But I'm confident he wouldn't tell the Romans how to write their laws.
  19. I don't even get a sniff of Ramsey in this interview. He sounds pretty playful and smart. I thought Starks came across really well. Good kid. He said he wants to pick off Allen because he has a bunch of friends on the Bills. Malaki basically said "it would be fun to beat my friends on the Bills" Ramsey said Allen was trash. IMO this is a total non-story. Timestamp is around 5:10 https://youtu.be/IueRXT77hfU?si=PO7VRTE5303nus5D I highly doubt that anybody who actually watched the interview thought the kid was coming at Allen with anything but respect. What a BS headline. He was super friendly.
  20. check this out: I attended a San Diego Chargers vs Miami Dolphinsb game at the old jack Murphy stadium where a fan made a sign out of a sheet which said: WANTED IN BUFFALO BRYAN COX. this huge sign and I thought how hilarious. this dude is being called out from San Diego?? LOL
  21. If he picks off Josh Allen he will act like he's some masterful player. If he does not pick off Allen, there are no stories written and there is no accountability. Seems like a win-win to say it.
