That’s been the book on Allen for awhile now and our own fans want him to just play right into it lol. It feels like I’m watching a different game at times…a lot of these underneath/quick throws at the LOS are working but people only seem to notice the ones that don’t

I'll never get used to these new kickoff rules. They suck. Then again, I hate Baseball's "ghost runner" rule whereby games tied after nine innings enter extra innings with a runner automatically placed on second base. 😳 Both rules are just ugly

situationally and week-to-week the above may be the right call but a part of me thinks, dont get cute with it and blast it out the back. let other teams experiment with this and see how things go before we fine tune our approach. maybe thats why im here and not on a coach staff though

He is very athletic for a man of his size. He may have a bright future here

He is usually terrible with pressure and having to extend plays, but he was awesome at it last night. Hats off to him. The last two times he played us he has been a lot better. But that was a terrible INT. No excuse for that. It was a 5 yard gain at the beginning of the game. I was fine with not challenging it. -
Boom. I agree. Nice win for sure! Go Bills. But yes, Tre looks cooked! We need Strong and then Max to return. On the 3rd and 12 play where Miami ended up scoring the TD to tie at 21 - Tre was blitzing and wide openly missed Tua. Tua made him look like a rookie. Tre completely woofed on that assignment and boom - first down. Two plays later they targeted Tre in the EZ with Waddle - Touchdown, game tied. Other than Tre we will be fine. 3-0 baby.

Deone Walker Deflected the Ball on INT

looks like our best lineman right now as has size , speed and strength -
Dolphins are a nightmare matchup for White because of his speed. He made some great plays and some terrible plays. Very mixed bag for him.

Please. They gave up a whopping 276 yards and 21 points. Give me a break. Without Oliver, without Milano, without Hairston, without Hoecht, without Ogunjobi. Your take sucks.
-
Ok, good, haha. With all the whining going on after the Bills going 3-0 and beating the last two teams by multiple scores, it's tough to tell who is serious and who is just idiotic.
-
I feel the opposite, we are extremely balanced on O , keeps defenses guessing and again averaging over 30 ppg . Our 2 and 3 TE looks are dominant and they proved they could go pass heavy if needed vs Baltimore.. Defense is down multiple starters, Ed, Milano and maybe Max and get a weapon in Hoecht in week 7 and a solid DT in Obujani , 3-0 , 2-0 in division, division games are tough especially on a Thursday This team is 100% SB caliber, just win by any means necessary

Honestly IMO, I think Rousseau and Epenesa are both too light. Seems as though every offensive lineman on every team seems at least 310 plus and its just a hard ask for these 2 guys both being 6-6 260 lbs, thats pretty skinny for their height, they just arent heavy enough.

Other morning after thoughts: James Cook has 4 TD in 3 games. He's top 5 in YPG Allen had completions to 9 targets. 6 had more than one. I know the offense is still coming together but this could be scary -
It is 3 games. Gun to your head, are Beane and McD really pleased behind closed doors about Rousseau’s performance these 3 games?

We have beaten the vaunted Ravens with Lamar, Henry, Flowers, Bateman, Hopkins, and Andrews. A Ravens team.that TYPICALLY handles us in an easy manner during the regular season. Josh puts on the cape, the defense makes timely plays, and we get the W. It was SPECIAL, first week of fhe season or not. Beat the Jets, who have the TSW idol Breece Hall, who also hung 30 on the Steelers defense, while only allowing 10 points. Then we beat the Dolphins last night, who usually give the defense fits because of their speed at the skill positions, allowing 21 points. If you watched that game, and you ever felt that outcome was in doubt, to each their own I guess. This team may not be the early 2000's Ravens or Bucs, it may not be the Denver defense that Peyton had behind him, but as long as we're winning the TO battle and they are making timely plays, I love our chances with JA17.

But you need to get it to the landing zone in the air. If you just squibbed it like teams used to, its a penalty and the ball is placed on the 40.

@Sierra Foothills Your rebuttal reply is a well thought out counterpoint to the hysteria. The equivalent to Kipling's 'If'. Well done. -
There is also a risk to returning it. Risk of penalty, which pins them back further, and risk of turning the ball over. It's worth it to make them return it, in my opinion. But I think Prater is not great at it yet. He needs to get better at placing the ball deeper in the landing zone.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
The Cincinnati Kid replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sarcasm because this thread is the most “The Bills didn’t win they way I wanted them to win” vibe in recent memory. The game plan called for short, quick passes to backs and TEs but no deep balls so people aren’t happy and we have terrible pass catchers. So dumb. -
We are very fortunate the schedule is laid out the way it is. This defense may be dramatically different after the bye week.

I will add a disclaimer to my every post that that the Bills will win 11+ games and the AFCE and be generally pleasant to watch and that’s great. But I still think there’s some other flaws to discuss. Ultimately “the Bills are still really good, let’s not talk about anything negative” is not a fun or insightful conversation to have. I think folks really just view things differently. I love watching this version of the Bills and I really want them to win it all. I also love discussing players’ performances, and gleaning insight from maybe more knowledgeable folks. And really, the unfortunate part is that I think ALL viewers find it more engaging to discuss flaws vs discuss successes. If someone posts a sick Spencer Brown block, it’s awesome. It will get a bunch of likes. But there’s nothing really to say, besides “great play.” If someone posts a bad rep by a DB, there will be 4 pages of whose fault was where, and what was the responsibility and the leverage and etc etc. you are kinda fighting human nature, imo.

I was wondering why the Bills kept fielding the ball 2 yards deep in the endzone and running it out instead of taking a knee. The chances of you getting a penalty or being tackled before the 35 are much higher than you getting out past the 35.
-
Yup. Dolphins were down 2/5ths of their starting OL and a bunch of guys in the secondary. They weren’t missing anyone to the level of Ed Oliver, but I’d take the Bills injury situation last night over the Dolphins.
