  1. Past hour
  2. I purposely stood every time the Bills had the ball for the entire second half only because they kept scoring.
  3. don't you think it's a little much to immediately paint this as a targeted killing? i know you want this more than anyone, but isn't this complete assumption at this point? unless i'm missing something.
  4. I remember at times in the K-gun days we would flank Thurman and use Kenny Davis as the RB, just to get Thurman in space.
  5. Doesn’t look likely for the 1 anymore with the Denver win and Mahomes done. The way the Jags are playing, the Texans may stay parked in the Wild Card. Both teams have one tough game left. Would y’all rather be the 5 at AFCN winner, 6/7 at Jax, 6/7 at NE or 2 hosting Houston?
  6. There is a fine line between aggressive and reckless. We (fans) seem to want to watch aggressive to the point of reckless on every call. These are game strategy decisions (not solely determined by coaching philosophy). It is just as much about how likely the other team is to score than it is about your likelihood of picking it up. Against the Bengals, where we were expecting a shootout, we went for pretty much everything. Against the Pats, we were expecting to be able to stop them more, so we played field position in close odds situations. In the first half it looked hard to understand these calls. However, in deeper look most of the Pats yards were driven by a fairly small number of execution mistakes. By game strategy and expectations of coaching, field position was a suitable call. The 2nd half really showed that we had the right plan to stop the Pats and play field position, instead of giving them a short field.
  7. @newcam2012 you said exactly: "However, the kid Maye is in year two and looks to be in his way to being a franchise QB. The Pats fans have a lot to be optimistic about" and later you post: This is literally the definition of talking out both sides of your mouth... or maybe you split atoms for a living? What's your deal here?
  8. I know that was simply rhetorical, but given the fact many have no idea, here is a PARTIAL list of what you can wager on an NFL game in late 2025- just pregame. * The Point Spread on Game/ Half/ Quarter. ( You may ‘adjust’ those) * The Total on Game/ Half/ Quarter. * TD Scorers on Game/ Half. * QB Passing yards on a sliding odds scale. * Rushing yards on a sliding odds scale. * Receiving yards on a sliding odds scale. * Defensive INTs / Fumbles * # of TDs/ First TD/ Last TD * Winning Margin * Total Score * Total FGs * Longest TD * 2 Pt Convert * etc, etc, etc + multiple parlay props on individual player stats. Endless.
  9. What were their motives? Really? I'm sure you're struggling to figure it out... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2dz7r708dxo.amp
  10. One thing that can’t continue, and has happened way too much, is what we saw on the second to last drive where we went 3 and out and punted back to NE with a chance to ice it. Run. Run. Screen pass. Completely taking the ball out of Allen’s hands on that drive. I never know if he checks in and out of stuff, but that was brutal.
  11. If Miami looks good in beating the Steelers tonight I absolutely think they can beat the Pats. Miami has been playing well as of late. And if Baltimore beats down the Pats next week I think the Pats confidence takes a hit - and there will be more pressure on them those last two games. I only wish the Miami game was Week 17 and not the last game - since Miami could be running for the bus (esp if it is colder than 50 degrees ) - need to just have faith Mike McDaniel can keep his troops motivated! 😆 At least the Pats can't take a break the rest of the year as long as we keep winning
  12. Hoping our friend @SydneyBillsFan and his family and friends are safe after this horrific attack. Bondi is an iconic destination and very cool place, Australia and Australians awesome based on my experience.
  13. Let me put my situation into perspective...... my experience in our field..........39 years my bosses experience in our field...........1 year The guy is 30 years old.........i've been doing this longer than he's even been alive. My problem is that he won't listen to anything, thinks he's the smartest one in the room and tries to re-invent the wheel. He believes that everything that comes out of his mouth is just pure genius. I am constantly telling him that not every idea, is a good idea. He's completely oblivious to everything. Disgusting
  14. I don’t think that’s true. Jags and Chargers can beat the broncos and Jags can lose to Rivers’ Colts and chargers lose to Texans and we can get 1 seed if we win out and Pats lose to either Jets or Dolphins. Long shot but it can happen
  15. I think our “base” offense needs to have 2 RBs. Davis and Ty can block and run routes.
  16. Just a great win. Odds are that they'll win the division but not with a win over us. The Bills denied their greatest aspiration and symbolically that's huge.. Strange body language for sure. I wonder what he looks like after a win. Jerry Sullivan's not dead but his career is. I'm with you guys. Kudos to you, Ditto. Looking at Maye through experienced eyes, it looks like he has a good chance to be as good as Justin Herbert... which is pretty good. Great observation. It was a shock and awe strategy which is a bit desperate... throw the kitchen sink to try to demoralize the Bills. It was a knockdown but clearly not a knockout. In fact Maye had to check down underneath because the Bills covered the play well which was a good sign. You've been more complimentary/defensive of New England than of the Bills... like you're some public defender trying to make sure his client is treated fairly. As I've said before, Maye has a chance to be as good as Herbert. Right now he's overhyped and the comparisons to Josh Allen are frankly insulting. Stow your "impartiality and fairness" for a day or two. I really don't care for your advocacy of New England and it makes me question where you're coming from.
  17. I mostly agree but still holding out hope we get a miraculous performance from one of our division rivals in remembrance of the 20 years of torture the pats put all of us through winning the division year in and year out
  18. Conference #1 seed gets first round bye and another 6 teams make playoffs. So 14 teams make playoffs.
  19. Fair question. Could be a number of things, but any way you slice it, another lunatic targeted innocent people for whatever twisted reason he/she came up with.
  20. Ok eeyor
  21. This offense is coached by him but not necessarily his fault when he succeeds or fails. I'm reminded of a pitch to I believe Ty where Keon completely disengaged from a block. Is that Brady's fault or is it Coleman, because there was a first down there to be had? You could make the claim that Coleman should not be depended upon but as an NFL player you need to be able to make that play. Also consider the other side of the ball gets paid to make that play as well. Should Brady call that play? Maybe or maybe not. Could also be that our defense doesn't defend it well in practice and it looks like the play works well. Should we throw it deep? Maybe but a quick play deep gives the ball back to the other team fast and I think a ball control offense has proven to be a better option. I think the game plan is fairly sound usually but sometimes it needs to be modified based on how the other team attacks us. What you saw Sunday was adjustments but also you saw the line start winning.
  22. agree. I was stunned by both. On the second one, I assumed we were going for it because they ran that quick pass on 3rd down just to make it manageable on 4th. those punts really contributed to that big pats lead. The bills offense was doing okay. I think we probably could have gotten points on one or both of those drives.
  23. Yea Sean had a really rough first half
  24. I’ve never stood for so much of a Bills game in my own living room
