  1. Past hour
  2. wouldn’t mind seeing NE as the 2 and Houston as the 7 in the first round.
  3. Its become obvious, and how can it not. McDermott recommended Beane for the job, but he hasnt provided the talent McDermott needs, and its painfully obvious. McDermott referred to the fact we need to be able to stretch the field and more speed at WR. But Beane not only didnt address it in the draft, but made an ass of himself with the WGR crew then failed to deliver at the trade deadline.
  4. I was at that game, George Blanda missed a 50 yard field goal a few seconds after he turned 47 years old. Ferguson had Ahmad Rashad, J. D. Hill and Bob Chandler .
  5. Beane took the last enchilada at the lunch buffet and things haven’t been the same since.
  6. they being mike davis and nc. I'm partial to this definition: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3941081/ Definitions are given in an attempt to identify phenomena and to delineate examples from non-examples. Expertise is consensually defined as elite, peak, or exceptionally high levels of performance on a particular task or within a given domain. One who achieves this status is called an expert or some related term, such as virtuoso, master, maven, prodigy, or genius. These terms are meant to label someone whose performance is at the top of the game. An expert's field of expertise can be almost anything from craftsmanship, through sports and music, to science or mathematics. People usually agree on examples of expertise, like Yo-Yo Ma (musical performance), Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (ballroom dancing), Antiques Roadshow Appraisers, Albert Einstein (physics), Tiger Woods (golf), Bette Davis (acting), Nelson Mandela (politics), or Hillary Rodham Clinton (international relations). Why different terms? Each term carries with it a slightly nuanced meaning. Shaded meanings vary in their emphasis on experience or constitutional factors as the source of high levels of performance. The term chosen to characterize superior performance carries with it an implied cause. Like expert, virtuoso or master is the result of hard work and long training. If talent is involved, it is a talent for hard labor. In contrast, prodigy, like genius, results from an endowment, which shows up early in life without the benefit of training. It might be appealing to the layperson to believe that a genius is just born that way. Elite performance just comes natural to a genius; you don't have to invest all that time and effort on training, because if you don't have what it takes you'll never get there. Moreover, you don't have to explain why you never had a significant insight, because you just didn't inherit the right abilities or genes. But the facts seem to be that, although people do differ in something called ability or talent, in sports or medicine or any area of human endeavor, talent is a necessary starting point, a platform from which to begin. To become an elite performer one has to capitalize on his or her abilities. Training is the sine qua non.
  7. Let him play out this year and next. If he can show more consistency with production and health, pick up the option for 27. I don't believe the team should be in any rush to pick up the option right now. Kincaid is still largely unproven.
  8. Dalton won’t be leaving the Bills
  9. That’s my main focus right now. Have a higher seed than the Texans.
  10. Ceiling? Maybe Taylor Swift's second husband?
  11. I heard it was because McDermott was jealous that TBD referred to Brandon as Big Baller Beane and a wizard but referred to him as McClappy.
  12. None of these look comfortable. Am I missing something? At least old school Pokemon cards have some value, or NFTs, crypto, sports cards. None of these look valuable at all. I love Diggs, but come on!!
  13. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned 6-7 is the KC Chiefs record. Josh Allen: Superman Patrick Mahomes: 6-7
  14. I keep seeing people posting about how they think there's some turmoil between Beane and McDermott in a lot of posts on here lately. I also know that maybe a few weeks ago or so there was a podcast that brought up the subject and they had bullet points about things being said in press conferences etc. that give off that impression. Personally speaking I haven't really seen anything that would lead me to believe this but I also don't really pay too much attention to things either of them say in the media. Just wondering if anybody has any inside knowledge or thoughts/opinions if there's any truth to this. If anybody has a link to the podcast that was speculating about it that would be appreciated as well as I would like to start doing a little digging and research into this as I'm starting to hear more and more people make these claims
  15. Give me that crooked upright dog bed for $25k
  16. Seasons not even over and people already saying McD cant win a superbowl. Why even watch? Just play madden, simulate the seasons until the Bills win.
  17. Yes It should be between Josh and Stafford, with Maye next in line. Josh is having another great year, willing the team to wins time and time again. Just like one would expect from an MVP. Four games left, almost a quarter of the season, and all will likely be meaningful, and for all three quarterbacks. Here's to hoping that Josh Allen makes it almost impossible to vote for anyone else.
  18. The filling inside the cushions are condoms.
  19. Just a clarification…I am not saying Cook is better than OJ. im just saying that when the dust settles this year he will likely have the 3rd highest rushing total in franchise history. …I maybe should have said that from the start. Go Bills!
  20. We really did need that Phillips/Epenesa 2nd interception of Burrow, it felt like a bonus at the time but hindsight shows how critical it was to the eventual win.
  21. Plus he can smile all nice and say the right things but there’s no love lost for his exiting WNY. You can bet he’s firIng up the Pat’s.
  22. Teens from every generation have their “things” that seem ridiculous to adults. This is one of them. Beats eating tide pods. You won’t end up in the ER by saying 6-7
  23. There's a difference from being disappointed, which is natural - I'm disappointed, too - and concluding the roster is a disaster or that the coach and/or GM are doing a bad job. Stuff happens, and stuff happened to the Bills, so sure, we're disappointed. McDermott is 6th among active coaches in wins, and he's fourth in winning percentage. Are the Packers firing Matt LaFleur because he hasn't won a Super Bowl? Might someone else at GM or head coach have won a Super Bowl by now? Sure, someone. Since McDermott was hired, there probably have been 50 head coach hires. None has a better winning percentage and only three - Sirianni, Zac Taylor, and Dan Quinn - have better playoff winning percentages. Disappointed? Yes, but the reality is that the Bills hired one of the very best head coaches available in the past ten years, and one of the best GMs. There's a lot of good discussion to be had about what could or should be done differently, but someone needs to respond to the people on here making up stuff, such as the roster is a disaster. I know you didn't say that, but you got me going!
