For all the draft picks invested - they really just haven’t played up the way they need- is it talent scouting? Is it just schemes? I don’t know but I feel like it’s like it’s the worst year of defense since McDermott got here. i think the scheme makes players think to much Look how long it took to get Bishop playing at the level he’s playing- he is playing lights out now but damn it took a minute for someone coached by the guy that is said to be a safety whisperer The undersized LB play and the aging of Taron on top of the demise of Poyer and Hyde has been harder then they planned Not really seeing any savior coming this year- maybe get some younger blood more snaps - that’s really all I can see

the issue with Josh, at least for me, was how wild the swings were today. The huge splash plays were great. But it still didn’t seem like he was in any sort of rhythm. -

I had concerns with his play early in the game, especially coming off the loss from last week but he did play great. The shuffle at reciever did seem to help. -
2 TDs last week with poor angles by Poyer. Not sure it’s angles or just being to slow to make the play. Some people were happy about his 15 tackles but that don’t impress me when a team is getting run over for 4 quarters and can’t get off the field.

This defense isn't good enough to win in the playoffs. If you can't stop the run, you're not going to win long-term. That said, the Bills are good enough to beat anyone on a given Sunday, but without more consistency on offense and better play stopping the run and getting to the QB, this team as currently constructed isn't good enough to win the SB.

I largely agree with the sentiment. Poyer had a decent game imo but Hancock needs to be trained up quick for us to compete. -
I don’t think 10-7 makes it this year. Teams packed on too many wins early in the year. Broncos and Pats are both at 9 wins already, they are in colts are at 8 - they will win their division bills have the tie breaker and will get in ravens or Steelers for the north. That’s 5 teams in for sure over the chiefs. Then you have the Jags, whoever doesn’t get the division in the north, the chargers, and then the chiefs. They need to win 5 of their last 7 and then hope for some other teams to drop games to get in i actually don’t see it happening

RIP to Shakir bubble screen. Hopefully we can finally toss that play in the dumpster and light it on fire. I don't ever want to see it again. -
According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

Keon is so slow he can't even get to meetings on time -
Aaron Rodgers - possible broken wrist

It would be hard to take snaps and hand the ball off with a broken left wrist. -
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 At this thread...Even from the very start....There really should be some protocols in place for threads such as these..."Yeah lets bench our QB and dive right back into that fantastic 17 year drought pergatory" Scarcasm now turned off.

I actually didn’t think poyer was terrible (think that second TD was on Milano). But he wasn’t good either. Did Hancock even play?

Allen played great. For sure he had rough spots during the game but so does almost every QB. This weird obsession with expecting Allen to be perfect through the whole game is bewildering to me. Even in the first half when Allen's play was uneven the Bills still scored 3 TD's and Allen was a big reason for that. -
Thompson > Milano Lewis > Johnson Hancock > Poyer Hairston > White Not saying all of these moves should happen, but they are conversations worth having.
-
I thought he’d be back to for the Bills games but there are a lot of Houston writers writing it doesn’t look good and his recovery isn’t going well. So I guess we’ll see. As for Rodgers, it’s his non throwing arm. You’d think he’d try to gut it out for the Steelers but something tells me he wouldn’t

When healthy, I think we need to get to a place where our Back 7 is Shaq Thompson, Dorian Williams, Taron Johnson or Cam Lewis, Hairston, Benford, Bishop and Hancock. Poyer gave up TWO touchdowns today with poor angles. Bernard playing hurt is a mess. Sit him and rest him up.
-
The in game adjustment was run a 3-4 D & have Dorian Williams running in to clean up the run per Joe Marino, which worked a little better. Don't know if it's a long term fix this season, but not sure it can be worse.
-
I mean this is a great question. Not really sure how the D improves. Really poor personnel acquisition on the DL/LBs by Bean. Perhaps some disguised/delayed blitzes with different guys coming from different spots. Bishop has been in great position this season, so that frees up the ability to blitz more.
