  2. One thing that wouldn't surprise me, especially given the kind of names that are sitting out there, is if they sign a veteran to the Practice Squad. As I said in an earlier post, this is an almost exact copy of 2023. And in 2023, we signed Christian Kirksey to the Practice Squad just before the start of the year. A lot of people expected him to eventually become the Starter, but Terrel Bernard stepped up and locked down the position from the jump and Kirksey left town. It wouldn't surprise me if they did something similar at Safety. Bringing in a name to the Practice Squad to provide insurance and to push Cole Bishop to put his best foot forward. "Sir, this is a Wendy's"
  3. Sean McDermott on Cole Bishop: “Cole has missed quite a bit of time… It remains to be seen what he is truly able to do for us". A HC gets a 'tag', a gut feeling, about all his players. It doesn't matter how he came to the team (draft choice, free-agent, pick-up etc.) the 'tag' is still there!!

  5. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/micah-parsons-scrubs-social-media-of-any-mention-of-cowboys man I hate being right. Jerry is gonna do nothing. And then tag him twice to prove a point
  6. This is great! Will be interesting to see what happens when they leave in 3 weeks. I suspect criminal are laying low for a month and when the troops leave they will get back to bidness. We'll see.
  7. Exactly......I don't understand why everyone has to freak out while only having partial information. The same thing happened with the "season-ending" injury to Hairston....until we hear otherwise, let's all calm down and hope he will be ready to go in two weeks vs. the Ravens.
  8. I (and many others) trust Brandon Thorn to be one of the best OL talent evaluators. He listed him as #3 RT in the league. So I understand one of the most respected evaluators has him top 5. He also picked Josh Freaking Allen. Christian Benford also top 10 talent. Taron Johnson still top 10 and maybe top 5 (def was at his peak). I got to 3 top 5 players. 2 of those are at premium positions and has a top 10 at another premium position. Has he gotten top 10 at every premium position? No but he’s doing way better than you are giving credit for.
  9. So wait. Trump can unilaterally send ng troops to dc for this but he was powerless on Jan 6? He doesn’t care about the mayor’s position now.
  10. Sal said Tre walked up the tunnel to the locker room and back. If you don’t hear anything about other corners coming in then it’s likely Tre is ok. Also why would Samuel give us that good of a deal? SI has him projected to get 8-10 mill
  11. Trump is Putin's B word.
  12. Did you listen to the Sal clip? Said he walked up the tunnel to the locker room and then back to practice. After that he got in the front seat of the cart to get a ride to the field house. Hoping this is a nothing major based on him walking around on it (particularly after the locker room).
  13. Week 1 is when I use to bet the majority of upsets...when I use to gamble lol.
  14. With respect to the bolded (Baltimore), I think that's a really interesting test for week one. Their aggressive, physical defense has generally given the Bills fits over the years. If there is one overarching criticism of Bills pass catchers during this era, it's their inability to beat press-man and to reel-in contested catches. Haven't disruptive, downhill defenses that dare the Bills to beat them had more success against Allen and Co.? Especially in the playoffs? I'm REALLY fascinated by the Baltimore week one litmus test. Smart money says Bills get rolled, in my opinion. All kinds of weaknesses exposed, again. All our worst fears and suspicions realized in the first game, in prime time, nationwide. Like you, I do actually see a potential future in which Coleman, Palmer, and Shakir and Kincaid are a formidable unit, but should we really expect them to win against Baltimore's defense? Also, will Brady and Co. give their players enough little schematic advantages to get that production flywheel spinning?
  15. MSNBC's Name Change Won't Help Nicole Russell from USA Today When I saw that MSNBC is changing its name to MS NOW, which stands for My Source News Opinion World, I had to chuckle. The new acronym is the product of a divorce from NBC, but no amount of alimony can save the news network from its leftist bias. It might have a new name soon, but it will still be the same nonsense. I'm not the only one to see the mainstream media's penchant for obfuscation and gaslighting. "Real Time" host Bill Maher recently made some profound remarks about the media that reinforce what I've seen for years. During his Aug. 15 show on HBO, Maher spoke with a panel of guests about President Donald Trump's meeting earlier that day with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Maher ticked off positive things about Trump, like how effective tariffs have been and how anti-war Trump is. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2025/08/20/msnbc-ms-now-media-liberal-bias-trump/85703170007/
