  1. Past hour
  2. I mean, last year we had MVS. Same type deep ball guy. In fact, when Shaheed went down to injury last year, the Saints brought MVS in to replace him. And he made some huge plays. The reason he was a FA at the time? He was cut from the Bills to make room for Cooper and he was expendable because Josh could never hit him on any of the big plays. Shaheed is a really good player. But he's not what this offense, this QB or this OC know how to take advantage of.
  3. No those plays are run a little more behind the line, these Bills plays are right on the line with no margin for error on down and distance where teams are absolutely looking to get push to prevent the short yardage conversion. A jet sweep or even the short pass from the jet motion is not what I'm taking issue with. I'm taking issue with the particular design of the play the Bills are using that is extremely tight to the LOS where there are too many things to go wrong - they ran it with Shakir on the Left side and against the Falcons on the right - both had the same issue - the blocking had to be superb and it wasn't and there was a lot to navigate that stymied the whole benefit of a guy moving faster than everyone else near the LOS Maybe the play would have some success if it were in a scenario where there may be more read and react calls from the D, but I just think there are too many feet and bodies to get in the way in any scenario.
  4. But it is kinda like 4 free wins.. and considering you need like 10-11 to make the playoffs thats a nice leg up. Also if these players were so good, the team wouldn't suck so hard.
  5. Gimme Tre Tucker as he similar to Shaheed but younger and under contract for next season for less than $2 million.
  6. The Jets are idiots. I just looked up his contract. He has $10 million guaranteed for next year along with 4 more years of his prorated $15 million signing bonus, which means if they cut him his dead cap hit is $22 million next year. If they keep him his base salary of $20 million plus his prorated signing bonus cap hit of $3 million has a cap hit of $23 million. So it's a huge cap hit either way with only a $1 million difference between keeping or cutting. Even if they renegotiate his full salary down to the $10 million guarantee, they'd still have a cap hit of $13 million for a useless player occupying a roster spot. If they renegotiate it down to that figure, the best thing for them to do is IR him (get Jimmy Spags to break his leg?) and free up the roster spot. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/72391/justin-fields
  7. Was thinking this as I watched the 49ers do this with McCaffery all freakin' night. Do it on purpose and plan for it, not just as an outlet because whatever else we schemed up isn't available.
  8. Meanwhile, Mike Johnson still refuses to swear in duly elected Rep Grijalva from NM. She will be the tipping point on the Epstein resolution. The House isn't even in session, so that vote won't happen. He's just b!tchily refusing to allow her to start representing her constituents. These people looove their predator friends. And also meanwhile: we see Prince Andrew out there essentially showing that Patel was lying when he said he wasn't aware of girls being procured for anyone but Epstein himself.
  9. If we wanted him so much why didn't we trade up to get him? Also as good as McDuffie been in the slot would he have had playing time here behind Taron?
  10. What liberals are missing is that a scale of 1 to cheering for Charlie Kirk this is nothing. It is inappropriate jokes, like politicians who.listen to trap rap, inappropriate but not going to change mind about anything of importance
  11. My question is...based off what, exactly? He took Shannahan's system, got some really fast guys, matched them with a noodle armed QB and had some success initially. Then when teams figured him out he's been unable to adapt and evolve on his own. Dolphin fans that watch him week in and week out are disgusted by his play calling. He abandons the run for huge chunks of the season. He's shown absolutely zero ability to create on his own. He lacks awareness. He's not a good offensive mind in any way shape or form IMO. It really stinks when the 2 worst teams in football are in your division and you know it's an extreme longshot they would off load any players of value to us without a significant overpay.
  12. But why do you think we are getting Shaheed? Are the Saints trading him for sure? I mean, I haven't heard a peep about him being moved other than on this chat group. I highly doubt this will happen.
  13. Feels odd for sure, especially in the middle of the season with games remaining. Putting on an event like this isn't free and they want to prevent no-shows, so I can understand the cost. That said, $35 feels a bit high to me. $20 seems more appropriate maybe?
  14. Well beggars can't be choosers....I don't exactly see Myles Garrett coming off suspension to us.
  15. Thank you. I've said this all along. It's ego.
  16. Super cool having these sellers in division so we’d have to pay a premium or be blocked entirely to make a trade.
  17. Yeah but these are teams that don't know what to do with them.
  18. 35 bucks? Sheeeeeeiitt
  19. Jet motion running plays have been an effective part of offensive football at all levels for many, many years. That's not disputable. I was upset with the attempt to give it to a tight end, who is not a typical ball handler, so I am with you there. I was also upset with not going with our QB or star RB to get 2 yards in 2 plays on a more simple run play, so I am with you there. Beyond that, you are reacting to results in a tiny sample size. We've seen the Chiefs win games with the same play.
  20. Meyers was just an example but yes, he is better than what they have. The point being, they mix and match guys because none of them are any good. That’s the concept of “everybody eats.” Throw different skill sets at the wall and hope one sticks. If you had a guy that had better skills, they’d rotate less. When Diggs was here, he played a lot more snaps than his backup. This rotation is a function of everyone being the same. If they had better players, they’d play more snaps than the worse players.
  21. Damn.. what a lousy staged money grab.. Many other ways to say "farewell"..
  22. Well it does deserve weight though.. And they should not represent us That's the difference.. just because liberals back people who say radical things ..it makes them look radical Conservatives need to show they mean business.. and get rid of trash that actually hurts the right... We should give it weight, and show that's not what we are That's literally what the left paints us as.. the right needs to get rid of all those people that actually have those ideals because it's not good for conservatives it does not represent us
