  1. Past hour
  2. I'd say watch the news, but you can't deal with anything that goes against your bubble.
  3. Why is Chris Brown kneeling?
  4. those are 3 of the best backs in nfl history of the top 15. i don't think Cook is there. the only current NFL RB that might be up there one day is Barkley and I am not even sure he will make it that far. I think Derrick Henry is on the cusp but not sure he will get there.
  5. I noticed this quote from the article about the Bills on the Bills website; Now, of course the Bills wrote it to promote certain ideas. Who knows if those are exactly his words? But even discounting for the fact that the Bills have presented whatever he said in the best possible late, it's still an important statement about the Bills culture. We've heard it before, of course, but McDermott intentionally built a culture that is powerful, a team-first culture. There seem to be differing views about whether the Bills overpaid, but even if they did, they got Cook for less than the highest bidder would have paid, and for less than Cook wanted. In that sense, there was a hometown discount. And the other guys who extended earlier this year all took less than they likely would have gotten in the market. Beane keeps signing quality players at discounts, so what does he do with the savings? He generally tries to get other guys at discounts, guys like Bosa and Hoecht and others. He doesn't bundle it to buy the really high-priced talent, the top ten receiver or edge. It's just not their style. The question is whether the team mentality that Cook is talking about creates an advantage in big games, the kind of advantage that an all-pro skill position guy gives his team.
  6. Show me the numbers! I can't handle the numbers!!
  7. Why are you acting like Parsons is on the Trade Block. He is not and he won't be getting traded and after he signs his deal for a billion dollars he will be talking about how he never wanted to play anywhere else. also, parsons would drive the fan base nuts. He does podcasts the day after every game and calls out his teammates and coaches. The bills fan base flipped out because James Cook took his bills logos off his instagram and asked to be paid what he deserved. They would lose their mind with parsons and his ego. he wouldn't have the giants and commanders to rack up 6 sacks a year each year either if he was in buffalo. This is all a pointless conversation.
  8. I’ve heard Tre has had a strong camp. 🤷🏼
  9. If we could keep Groot and maybe re-sign Bosa as rotational insurance, acquiring Parsons would be huge. Ed is good but has always been inconsistent. Sanders or Walker could fill that role with development. I could live with losing 2 firsts.
  10. i was watching alex brasky's practice video live. I originally thought he was there and then i realized he was just reading twitter posts and commenting. Then at the end he went on some rant about other media people and his personal struggles then ended it with a hard out that was like fans and your opinions don't mean S--t. Dude seems like he is readyto snap or something. Not really going to pay attention to what he has to say going forward.
  11. Bears have a good OL too
  12. Not to disappoint, but the Republican candidate for Virginia Governor is going to get crushed. She simply has no campaign. Glen Younkin was/is great, but that's about to end.
  13. I have earlier memories, but I vividly recall my sister having a friend over and I was annoying them as they played in the basement. I got in trouble and had to go upstairs with my parents. We watched JFK’s funeral, with the horse drawn carriage taking his casket down the road. That was just a few weeks after my 4th birthday and I remember it more clearly than some things that happened last week. I have other things from much later in life that are annoyingly unclear to me. As @frostbitmic noted above, it’s amazing what the mind selects to store away and make available, while some other things remain a foggy mystery, or just disappear from your mind.
  14. These are numbers from an administration that fires anyone who reports statistics that don't make them look good.
  15. In the fight to restore order in the nation's capital, the Trump administration is now engaging another, proven founding principle of the republic: The Second Amendment. Specifically, the District of Columbia's concealed-carry permitting process time is being slashed, from months to days. This is an unmitigated good thing, and actually is a fundamental liberty, not granted but protected by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The concealed carry permit process also has been streamlined, Fox Digital learned. What used to take "several months" to obtain a concealed carry permit, has been cut down to 4.6 days, according to data compiled during the month of May by the task force, which the White House shared with Fox News Digital. Appointments for firearm registration and conceal carry licenses also have been combined into one category to cut back on confusion over which option to choose when beginning the gun process. While the District will soon use third-party finger printers, in addition to Metropolitan Police Department machines, after the D.C. City Council voted to broaden where people can get fingerprinted July 28. For a Second Amendment purist (like me), it rankles that any jurisdiction, anywhere, is allowed to require a government permit to exercise a constitutional right. (Alaska doesn't.) But this is the world we live in; politics is the art of the possible, and in the District of Columbia, this may well be the best we can hope for - today. And we should note that before the Supreme Court's decision in the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen case, we might not even have had that. https://redstate.com/wardclark/2025/08/15/big-beautiful-self-defense-win-trump-streamlines-dc-concealed-carry-permitting-n2192849
  16. Nope, what a diva…I knew he was going to be a problem as soon as he signed his deal-can we get out of his contract yet?????
  17. AOL is still my email, it's the only one I've ever had. I think I had the dial up version from 00-03 and can still hear that sound in my head.
  18. Pleased to hear Landon Jackson is having a good day
  19. Yea let’s go all in. Like really all in. trade some contracts to get Micah. Pay the king. Gladly trade our never contributing 1st round picks and then do some mid rd pick swaps
  20. If the playoff race goes the same as the past couple years we really need Baltimore to play KC in that divisional weekend game. Buffalo has to get the 1 seed and play a lower seed that weekend and then play the winner of Bal/KC at home for all the marbles. But yeah, injuries happen and you never know if those teams will even make it that far.
  21. Getting concerned about the Bills starting Tre White as CB2, especially with Max Hairston being injured. I’ve always liked Tre and hoped he could rebound from his injuries, but so far, the reports about Tre getting burnt regularly are getting worrisome.
  22. Didn’t the Bears dominate the Dolphins in their joint practice? Good to see the Bills were the better team today with all things considered.
  23. It would be perfect!
  24. But Has James cook played on 3rd down?
