NFL Players in Hot Water for Scalping SB Tix
Ballsy replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every player in the NFL does not get a pair of Super Bowl tickets. Every player in the NFL has the right to buy Super Bowl tickets at face value. Players on participating teams get complimentary tickets. -
What's the first position the Bills draft in 2026?
Buffalo716 replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
O line and front seven ... That build any competent NFL team... U want to rebuild a team that is where you start Besides getting a bonafide star QB which is also luck.. building your defensive front seven is the quickest way to stay in NFL games and having a offensive line that keeps your quarterback upright And the Seahawks had Bobby Wagner KJ wright and Bruce Irvin and LBr Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril on the defensive line.. Chris Clemons , red Bryant , Brandon mebane That is a very good front seven especially back in 2013.. they had very good sack production and guys like red Bryant were run stuffing machines .. Bruce Irvin coming off the edge as an outside linebacker with Bobby Wagner and KJ wright That is far from even just average -
My problem is that, whenever I start to think about my good OJ memories, I begin to feel guilty about it. So, then I think - OJ, why did you have to do what you did? You were such a good player and such a seemingly nice representative of Buffalo and my childhood. That leads me to feeling guilty again, this time because I am feeling sorry he messed up my memories as if I was some sort of victim, when the real victims are the people who are dead and those that knew them. OJ is a difficult minefield for me to navigate.

You musy be scared of being outdueled and overpowered by Sabres?

If Hairston has sustained a serious injury, get ready for the Swiss cheese secondary again. I don’t expect Tre White to remain healthy all season given injuries and age and, welp what are we looking at then?

This is crazy to say but I think that might be the reason they don’t resign him. That and Grable. -
What's the first position the Bills draft in 2026?
Kirby Jackson replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
We shouldn’t have 3 RBs, 2 TEs and only 1 WR picked in the first 3 rounds. We shouldnt have 7 DL in that same period!! That’s not good roster building. 4 or 5 DL and MAYBE 1 RB & 1 TE, sure. The reason that the Bills roster consistently lacks top end talent is because they don’t draft well early. They had 1 guy outside of Josh on the NFL 100 last year (Dawkins at like 96). So far, it has just been Cook at 89 (they are up to number 57). So MAYBE Dawkins or, less likely, Benford makes the list? Another year of the Bills having Josh Allen, and one (or 2) other guy(s) in the top 100 players in the NFL. You get those guys in the top 100 picks. -
The true part is that those Hispanics and African Americans have 'shifted' very little. It is the Democrat Party shifting to extremist leftist policies that has changed their vote. .

id argue recent history is not the clear picture you make it out to be, esp considering SB winners i mean the browns and colts have had great olines the past what like 5+years and sherman along w help from earl thomas and kam chancellor absolutely made their dline look better than they were -
I have never had a problem distinguishing between OJ the player and OJ the man. I agree he was one of the very best RBs, possibly the best really, of all time. That 14 game record in 1973 will never be broken, and his 1975 season was actually even better. I also enjoy Kevin Spacey, Woody Allen, and Roman Polanski movies. I am not blind to their faults but their work is excellent.

"The KR Stars today are Frank Gore Jr., Daequan Hardy, with Deon Cain shuffling back there. Kick Returner would be one way that Cain could crack the lineup…If Cain is able. [Editor groans]." Top notch dad joke, even if the editor did hang a lantern on it.

Was just about to say the same thing. The "walked off the field" means little to nothing. Many, many instances lately where players walk off the field just to be later diagnosed with a Torn ACL. That's not to say definitively that's what's going on here. Just to say the "good news is he walked off the field" narrative isn't worth much at all.

Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement that “Hallie Helgeson and Brady Heiling had their whole lives ahead of them — and they would still be alive today if it weren’t for Noelia Saray Martinez-Avila — a criminal illegal alien from Honduras. ... ICE has lodged an arrest detainer to remove this public safety threat from the U.S. Unfortunately, this sanctuary jurisdiction has a history of not honoring ICE arrest detainers often leading to the release of murderers and other heinous criminals." Martinez-Avila’s criminal history in Wisconsin includes two convictions for drunken driving, three of driving without a license and once for speeding more than 20 miles above the limit. https://www.startribune.com/ice-wants-to-deport-wi-driver-charged-with-being-drunk-causing-crash-that-killed-2-minnesota-teens/601444823?taid=6887f315ef6bdb0001ef38de&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

Random thoughts from today's practice - Tre came out on the field with exercise band aroung both knees and walked around and warmed up with it on for a while - never seen that before - During ST drills Hairston and Damar were dancing then talking for a while - Damar then gave some tips to Hairston when he went in on ST coverage. Noticed Damar talking up a lot of CBs throughout on the sidelines - seems to be a guy people gravitate to at this stage - For a short period during ST drills Keon, Shakir and Shenault were off to the side fielding punts from the JUGs - started each one with back turned then had to turn around and pick up flight of the ball - Also during STs, TE coach Boras was firing passes to Cook and Kincaid I guess to pass time. At one point they were half speed 'guarding' each other as one ran a 'route' across the field and Cook got nailed in the back of the helmet playing 'defense' (Cook no Travis Hunter) - First routes against air included a 5 yd hook and ladder WR in route to RB coming from middle - 1-1s I recorded (typing blind in sun I typed a bunch of numbers that didn't make sense so just putting ?) - Tre nice int - Virgil catch vs ? - Gosnell drop vs Ingraham - Keon catch vs Tre (battle) - Palmer nice catch from Josh over shoulder corner EZ but ruled oob - Shakir beats Bishop - Tre manhandles Cain no chance for catch - ? nice catch with Tre draped all over - Cain nice catch with Hancock holding the whole way - First team 11-11s - Groot batted pass - Josh engulfed - Josh fake pitch right then bootleg to left side - would have gotten at least 10 - Nice screen to left side with Bosa coming like a freight train from other side - Josh int to Milano - had to be a miscommunication, threw it right into his belly with no receiver within 10 yds - Quick out Shakir 5-10 yds - Run stuffed by Hoecht - impressive burst and thump - Bishop pbu on Wilkerson - Fake pitch and dump off - D coming - Middle screen Cook 10-15 yds - Taron pbu Kincaid - Josh under a lot of pressure to get rid of it and tried to thread it - Tre all over Palmer looking for flag - Johnson nice burst for 10 yds - Palmer hook and ladder to Johnson (same play they ran at beginning of practice against air) - Keon catch over middle no one within 5 yds - Virgil nice 15 yd catch come back route - At one point Johnson was coming up the sideline and Buffalo Joe smoked him - sent him back 5 yds. He was down for a bit but eventually returned to practice - Josh sidearm dump off to Gosnell under heavy pressure - Wilkerson nice 15 yd catch coming over middle on ball slightly behind - Shakir 10 yd short middle - Gosnell bomb TD (think Damar in coverage) - Tre great pbu sideline route - There was a big scrum on other side of field didn't see who was involved - it was entertaining though to see about 50 guys on near sideline run across the field toward it 😛 - 2's (or 3's) ran same hook and ladder Wilkerson to Gore - Trubusky had a bomb to Cain - think Strong got beat - Refs are there but "letting them play" is an understatement - would think they would ask them to call plays close but seems to be the opposite - Trubisky got more reps than White this practice - but have to say White looked very in command to me the small amt he was in - good ball handling with fakes and pitches, moves with confidence - qick throws. Trubisky had the one bomb, but otherwise not impressive IMO. White did have an overthrow int though - 1 hr in, Tre took his shoes and socks off and walked around barefoot for about 10-15 mins (guess he knew he wouldn't be participating for a bit), then eventually put his shoes back on and resumed practice (and he wasn't even here with Hollins last year) - Hawes has stocky tree trunk legs and looks country strong - he looks like someone who would block well. Driving back on WGR they were interviewing McGovern and they asked what new guy impressed him the most and without hesitation he said Hawes. Said he plays like a 3 yr vet and was effusive about his blocking - I counted 5 Hard Knox camera/boom crews. When the whole field was being used they were pretty unobtrusive - would approach if some drills were near the sideline/boundary - but seemed to purposely stay off and away from the main field during live practice. As soon as there was a water break tthough hey would scramble onto the field to get close to the players - they were especially drawn to any semblance of a huddle - if there was a a group of players in a circle there was bound to be a boom mic hanging over the centter. - Who knew a Gosnell was a thing - Defense was really bringing pressure today - and playing with an edge with hard thumping to end plays. One thing to note is in this setting Josh especially knows that he won't be touched as the pocket is collpsing around him, so he more just stands his ground and throws (and maybe a whistle is blown for a 'sack') vs looking to scramble out of harms way - in live action I think he would have been forced to do a lot more to successfully get passess off with the way the D was getting to him today - Lots of quick hitters and short throws by offense - assume dictated by the pressure the D was bringing - Tre was all over the place to day - jumped out more than any other player to me. Was way more physical than I ever remember and just playing with a super high level of energy and confidence. I totally missed the Hairston injury until I got back - on the way home I was thinking how much Tre stood out and was thinking I didn't notice Hairston at all 😛 - Was scorching hot - one of the hottest camp days I remember. A lady went down walking down the aisle in the stands right in front of us. EMT/responders came and put ice packs all over her and gave her water - they eventually wheeled her out on a stretcher (I imagine more as a precaution). There were lots of long water breaks one the field - one at 1.5 hr mark of practice was the longest I ever saw at camp - some people left thinking it was over. They were about to start the last 11-11 at the end of practice - then stopped and huddled up, and came back out and just went down field half speed. I have to imagine they changed it because of the heat

What sucks the most about the Hairston injury, if it does turn out to be serious, is the speed he was going to give us. That's the part of his game I was looking forward to, especially his recovery speed on deep routes. And if it is a serious knee injury, how will that affect his speed in the future. Fingers crossed the tests are negative

Nope McDumb*** would have had him dropping into coverage🤷♂️

What's the first position the Bills draft in 2026?
Buffalo716 replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will never fault him for throwing everything at the D line The game is one in the trenches period.. if you are strong on the offensive and defensive line you will be in the vast majority of every single game It all starts up front... The Ravens and Steelers have been building teams around their front seven for 25 years , it's a good way to start .. Bill belichick prioritized his front seven for 20 years.. all of his top defenses with top run stopping built around the front seven.. You could throw any name out there and say well they didn't live up to it.. well guess what 90% of the NFL doesn't live up to people's expectations lol I'm still throwing my biggest resources at disrupting other teams quarterbacks Tremendous cornerbacks have never made defensive lines look better consistently.. they don't because even deion Sanders can't run around and cover an NFL player for 5 seconds.. Jalen Ramsey can't run around and cover an NFL wide receiver for 5 seconds... but a good defensive line always makes secondaries look better when you only have to cover for 2.5 the eagles completely ran roughshod on the Chiefs because their front seven dominated.. I don't care if they have some good wide receivers it starts with that defense and front seven and o line... as I've always said it takes as much luck as skill to win a super bowl.. there are so many factors.. and the Buffalo Bills are right there.. we are not two pegs down, we do not have to grow substantially... With the right combination of talent luck and timing the Buffalo Bills will get it done sooner than later... Could be this year...History says you're not keeping a quarterback like Josh Allen down for 18 years He's going to get the monkey off his back eventually -

Guys, I sent this over a week ago. Just look it up. I even stated the channel date and time. It’s not a jinx as they go to at least 20+ teams including KC. Its on the app for about four or so days so if you have the subscription and app, you can watch at your leisure. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
Pete replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
That sucks. I tore my ACL when I got pinned between a Pallet Truck and Shelving, working at Stop and Shop warehouse. I got seen by Stop and Shop doctor who said my knee was alright. Weeks went by, my knee wasn't getting better. You know your own body, and I knew the Stop and Shop Dr was full of *****. I got second opinion. who ordered Xrays and MRI. I had a Grade III ACL tear -
Got rolled up on. If the trainers thought Max had a significant injury, would they let him walk off?

if your threshold for ignored is spent zero picks on offense then again yes, it hasn't been ignored. im saying that's a patently ridiculous premise and comparing league averages is very clearly the correct way to analyze their investments
