  1. Past hour
  2. I'm haunted...
  3. Trubisky was in the wedding party, he's very close with Josh so I really think he's gonna be the firm backup. I think largely the reason Beuchele played the whole game was so that they could get as much tape on him as possible to see who is gonna make the PS. Mike White has a lot of tape as he's started 7 games in the NFL and played in pre-season for various teams. Beuchele doesn't have as much film out there on an NFL level.
  4. The only person who still cares about j6 is you and redtail. Esteemed company. Oh yeah can't forget chigoose.
  5. I feel like Tyler Bass is always “shaky.” Every time he’s going to kick, he strolls up to the field like a sad puppy. Projecting zero confidence, but he ends up making them. He typically misses about 4 FGs a year which is pretty normal.
  6. Fred Smoot has been retired for years? That being said the Bills got a big upgrade from 2024 Von to Bosa even if Bosa's lost half a step. I also think Hoecht coming in for Smoot is a big upgrade as well once his suspension is lifted and I would like to see what Solomon has in that role as well.
  7. that is going to be the downfall of the whole NCAA. I hope. the NIL is disgusting.
  8. I'd add that unless we trade Samuel we will need to create cap space for 52nd/53rd players, PS players and some in-season moves. So we need to restructure someone (probably Dawkins) and it WON'T mean we are creating space for some S/CB or whoever you wish
  9. He played the entire game because the QB position is locked up and he's #4 out of 3. They didn't want to risk losing Trubisky or even soon to be PS QB White to injury. Then again maybe White didn't play because they have a trade worked out for him. Weren't Trubisky and Beuchele both at Josh' wedding, but not White ?
  10. I haven't had any vaccines since my last tetaness shot I don't do flu shots none of them as far as removing. my own gal bladder WTF does that have to do with my reply ! And I'll bet Glyphosate is still in Round up and many weed killers but I will get back to you on that next time I go to HD I'll read the ingredients . If it isn't on there you can bet there is something very close to the exact same thing . I am going to be 64 this year and glory to god I'm not on any meds ! And when all that about the covid vaccine came out I went with the alternative that NONE of those pushing the vaccine would tell you and that was boosting my own immune system with vitamins and such before jumping on the band wagon of drinking the kool aid like you and I guess many others . I still see believers walking around with masks OUT SIDE with no one around or in a car all by them selves they got you all believing the BS first and fore most instead of doing your own research and depending on what god gave us until other proof is made known . But maybe that's just me ...
  11. Agreed, but I do think it’s a bad matchup for the Bills. The Ravens kinda dominated them in the playoff game and lost due to turnovers and an unbelievable drop, and they slaughtered them in the regular season. I certainly think the Bills can win, but if I had to pick a winner straight up, I feel like I’d be foolish not to lean toward Baltimore. Home field will help.
  12. The guy made plays in the AFC Champ. He's already on a decent level. We gave him camp off while we tried out a bunch of kids. I saw your post on the Eagles and went and looked at the trades... They brought in Sam Howell as backup QB, and brought back an OL they had on the roster previously. So they wasted a draft pick bringing back OL depth while we wasted nothing bringing back our DT. Same thing, bringing back a guy they had already signed. I'm not getting the anger on this. At least not via your example. I think a lot of us are forgetting we arent in the drought years where we're trying to build a team that can get 11 wins for once. We're an AFC Championship caliber team and roster, and likely a Super Bowl caliber team if everyone is healthy. I guess comparing us to the Super Bowl champs could leave us wanting, and I certainly want only the best. But "clowns"?...
  13. You want some of your rookies (typically the guys drafted in rounds 1-3) to make an impact. Typically if you could get 1-2 guys to start as rookies effectively and another 2-3 to come in as role players you are sitting pretty. But if you have 7 picks and 1 guy is a starter and 2 guys are role players that leaves 4 guys that are going to need to develop for a year or two. I am not going to say that I am not disappointed that Jackson is thus far looking like he might not be able to take on the 4th DE in rotation role that Smoot had last year as a rookie. But I would much rather the Bills have taken a "freak" athlete at a premium position who might need a year or two to develop into a starter in a draft where they went into it having 4 quality DE's on the roster (Groot, Bosa, AJE, and Hoecht) and a 2nd year mid-round pick also in the wings for depth.
  14. Follow up on my 2nd eye surgery today. My eye doctor says everything looks good. I may need in office laser surgery down the line. Right eye isn't as good as left, but my right eye may improve over time as the implant settles in place. Another appointment a month from now.
  15. Now that it’s so easy to transfer, I expect most of the excellent players to move to bigger schools midway through.
  16. Vince Gallo. Buffalo 66 I memoriam, let's not for get Pancho Villa. Maybe the Pancho Villa honorary award for best mafia member each year?
  17. Honestly, usually a guy needs a year or two to "get it." I'm thankful we have awesome depth in front of him.
  18. Groot, Bosa, Hoecht and even AJE all had to learn to use their bodies, adjust their weight/body for the NFL level, or learn to grow into their bodies at the NFL level. Jackson has a good group of guys to learn how to use his physical tools at the NFL level. A lot of the 2022 picks besides Benford didn't make much of an impact. Shakir was buried on the depth chart on a team desperate for WR's besides Diggs, Cook was a role player (a good one but not that much better than Davis was this past year), and Bernard was a non-factor. Sometimes guys need a year to "get it".
  19. I'm assuming the coaching staff didn't like how the players were limiting the run up the middle so they signed Phillips so the run up the middle wouldn't be so limited for the opposing teams. He cant stop the run. He never has. I say this and I like the guy.
  20. FTR I’m ok with the Carter pick. The process was sound - that’s the going rate for a 1T and it’s better than overpaying for one in free agency. I never liked the player (pretty sure I predicted bust at the time) but I can forgive a swing and miss there. It’s the pro personnel garbage I am really getting fed up with. This is the “idea” Beane’s pro personnel scouts are bringing to him in late August? The same guy they’ve signed over and over again? These guys are clowns when it comes to pro personnel scouting, they completely suck at it.
  21. He also made the third most total XP and had the 17th best XP kicking percentage. So he had a very average season. I don't know what the agenda is here or why you'd try to use raw misses without also pointing out the number of makes and attempts.
