  1. Past hour
  2. The DLine is pretty damn good. Behind them, not so much. But a good DLine can make everyone better. Just like the OL can. The 2 new guys will hopefully make a real impact.
  3. Hoecht is going to play the role Lorax did with us
  4. if we don't blow it up, does your list change on who we should keep and who we should move on from ?
  5. Wade Philips walks in the building with the exact players we have and we are a top 10 unit by December. It’s not the players…it’s the zone and it’s the nickel I was absolutely flamed (by a mod nonetheless) for saying this 3 weeks ago. Tarron Johnson isn’t good. We can’t stop the run because we insist on staying in the nickel defense but we can’t stop the pass because our nickel defense sucks. What is the point? Put 3 LBs on the field. This isn’t working. If you need 7 on the field, move him to safety
  6. Might be time for Lewis to step in for Taron.
  7. I think "But Her Emails" has a lot of potential, and of course the whole Clinton Foundation/Global Initiative.
  8. i agree milano has aged.. and he is showing it.
  9. Dodgers in 6.
  10. It’s NOT the players. Theres not 8 entire groups of players that aren’t good. The odds of that being possible are astounding. The only thing that isn’t changing is the scheme. That is the issue
  11. I'll be in the state. Does that count?
  12. Lewis is also our primary backup at Nickel, and Taron has been dinged up this year. So yeah, we're a bit thin and our DB's are having trouble staying healthy.
  13. So do the bills now have 2 open spots on the roster with Rapp to IR?
  14. 100% Milano & Bernard have looked pretty bad this year
  15. An old colleague of mine I keep in touch with is close to the Lutnicks. I told her I want an invite to an event. Or if she goes to steal me a set of silverware.
  16. Shaq Thompson is playing the best among all players on defense. He should be starting even if it means over Milano or Bernard
  17. My list of Bills who are both under contract in 2026 and are (in priority order) worth retaining is: Definites 1. Ed Oliver 2. Christian Benford 3. Deone Walker Probables 4. Greg Rousseau 5. Terrell Bernard N/R because not seen enough to judge but will be here: Hairston, Sanders, Jackson I include Groot and TB because they are expensive to move off. Groot is pretty scheme versatile too whereas TB less so. Think in a lot of other defenses he would play WLB or nowhere. I could see a new regime keeping him year 1 and then moving on.
  18. It's not just that this GM drafts a ton of defensive players. The coach won't play half of them. He won't dress our 3rd round pick. We have injuries everywhere in the secondary and we drafted like 15 DBs this year but some never even get a chance. It's a pattern. Every year certain rookies might as well just be cut, because they are never getting a chance. For guys that are "one mind" this is bizarre.
  19. Need to get bigger and more physical. I've been saying this for years. Then we need to add some speed in the secondary. I miss those Wade Phillips' D's. Cut AJE. He can't beat most TE's.
  20. Or the Rams view him like McDermott viewed Elam. In all sincerity, congratulations to Mr. Dolac.
  21. Yeah, I think it makes sense to have Poyer in to set the secondary (at least at times), some of the plays I've seen leave me with the impression secondary assignments aren't being correctly set at times. McDermott's of course not going to give a decision until gametime to keep Carolina guessing. It gives us such a competitive advantage, lol. It'll be interesting to see how we do this. Don't know how much we use Hancock, but I'd rather see Poyer in with him at least to start.
