Your Mount Rushmore for bands from Buffalo
BillsFanNC replied to XXXtraAnchovies's topic in Off the Wall
Great Train Robbery was a band with a pretty large following. The camera man here is focused more on the young ladies upfront than the band, which is nice. Went to many shows at the ICON but not this one. I did catch BNL there in '92. The '92 BNL show at the ICON was a great sounding much sought after bootleg back in the day, if you were lucky enough to get an early gen cassette transfer. With YouTube these things are now readily available. -

Bills Top 5 single game passing performances
BearNorth replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
No Punt game at SFO was a pretty good display of offense Jimbo had 403 yards passing and 3 TD's. -
This. It's not because of Josh's they're failing to advance further in the playoffs most years.

Obviously the Bills were interested. But on their terms. Which meant no guaranteed money. And without guaranteed money, AB wasn't going to take the offer. So like I said... So what if the reason he got booted from the Patriots was a prior sexual assault? You think that by signing with the Bills that suddenly would have disappeared? LOL! There was always the possibility that Diggs would meet the same fate in Buffalo. I mean I guess it's news to you, but top WRs more often than not get themselves removed from their original team and even teams afterwards. The difference between Brown and Diggs was Brown's erratic behavior. But the Bills got the best out of Diggs like the Steelers got the best out of Brown.

The fans, yes. Yet, I don't remember ever hearing Josh Allen saying that the Bills are looking for revenge against the Chiefs.

There seems to be a correlation between DP LePew returning to the lineup and the offense going to sh!t every year. He's a real energy vampire. Happened last year too. He came back, they still played well the first few games and all of a sudden the bottom fell out and a few weeks later Luis Injurino is joking about the Yankees only having 2 hitters. The Errin' Buffoone June Swoon has been a thing every year since 2021 but part of that is trying to force sunk-cost losing contracts into the lineup. Aaron Hicks, Josh Donaldson, LePew...... The message putting DP back in the lineup is that pay matters over performance. I don't think the players are disgruntled about it but the realization that the team is willing to sacrifice games to try to salvage some value from a washed up player takes the edge off of them. He's a 36 year old slap hitter with zero defensive range, a hardening glove that can't handle short hops anymore, a propensity for hitting soft ground balls that turn into DP's and now he's added high % of strikeouts. He struck out 3x last night against soft-tosser pitching. They should have cut bait 2 years ago but definitely last fall when they put him on the fake IR to get him off the team. Even if he somehow got back to hitting .280 or so the other deficiencies in his game aren't worth it. I mean they rightly let Gleyber Torres go and he was worlds more impactful than LePew.

I've never heard it called that. -
Revenge? Sounds like Mark Andrews better watch out.

He worked at Wegmans in H.S., got a scholarship, think it covered the cost of a book. He lived in Greenpoint when they announced opening one in Brooklyn, he had visions of memory lane, but It ended up opening after he went to school in Paris. When he got back that and the one in the Village were opened. Like you, goes for the nostalgia.

Great news. OH NO ! Letting the people decide ? “The Court's role is not ‘to judge the wisdom, fairness, or logic’ of [the ban on surgically mutilating minors], but only to ensure that the law does not violate equal protection guarantees,” the Supreme Court ruled. “It does not. Questions regarding the law's policy are thus appropriately left to the people, their elected representatives, and the democratic process.”

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
Mark Vader replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see it happening. Because of the additions of Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore, and the fact that Josh Allen loves to spread the ball around. -
I did not blame Netanyahu for taking action against Iran's nuclear program and it's leadership. Iran has long pledged to destroy the "Zionist Entity" and it is not a great stretch to say that this is an anticipatory defensive action. I do not blame the United States for standing aside as it happened. Rubio's initial statement was perfect. The change in language as Trump jumps in now is troubling. We have "unconditional surrender" demands, which suggests: (1) U.S. involvement (surrender to whom?); (2) a demand for "regime change" and toppling of the Iranian theocracy. That gets us right back to Bush 43, which is presumably the type of hubris that Trump has campaigned against. Neutralize the nuclear threat, or at least delay it indefinitely. Let the Iranian people decide when the time has come to overthrow their corrupt leadership. You beat me to it.

I put the blame mostly on the defense for not doing well in those rounds. If you can't protect a 3-point lead with just 13 seconds left in the game and the other team starting at their own 25 then losing in these rounds year after year is no surprise. Hopefully the moves Beane made this offseason improve the defense so they can finally get to a Super Bowl with a chance to win it.

Pitching has been fine, but the bats have gone ice cold. Just hope they can break out of this slump soon. They need to start winning games again.

Lamar is single-handedly the reason Josh Allen isn't winless in division and championship round games. The giveaways made it possible for the Bills to escape two terrible offensive performances against the Ravens with wins. That opener could be very important for the #1 seed or at least home field advantage again in a potential 3rd division round meeting with the Ravens.

So giving up 13 runs in the last 5 is nothing to get excited about?…….I kid, I kid.

1994 - Kelly & Reed vs Favre & Sharpe - NFL Throwback

Gotcha -
Its just a move that doesn't make much sense from a team building perspective. Are the Steelers a SB roster? I doubt it. The epitome of average across the board with a few exceptions. This gets to where they were last year, first round playoff road loss. If there is a team that needs to bottom out to get a QB, its the Steelers
