Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?
transplantbillsfan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
that was when he came out of college. It's widely documented lost a bunch of weight with the Rams to switch to LB. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/michael-hoecht-found-weight-plan-035900769.html -
From left to right and front to back in the 13: 6'4" 6"5" 6'6" 6'5" 6'6" 6'8" 6'4" 6'4" 6'5" 5'll". That's a big offense.

Bills Draft History - The Price For Shaheed
Sierra Foothills replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Before the Bills-Falcons game in week 6 (the last time Palmer played), the broadcast crew (Fowler/Riddick/Orlovsky) talked about how the Bills told them that they didn't realize Palmer was so fast and that he was going to be a big part of their game plan. He caught those 2 passes for 60 yards and was injured at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. To your bolded comments, Palmer hasn't played since then. -
Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?

I would like nothing more than for this to be true, but I don't have much faith in Williams at present. He is violent and sudden alright; as in he violently and suddenly goes to the wrong place more often than not. I sincerely hope he makes a liar out of me someday soon. This Sunday would be nice. -

You can love him or hate him, but Colin Cowherd talks about how his wife used to cover Buffalo as part of her region in whatever job she had. He says she insists the people of WNY are the nicest anywhere. I don’t disagree. -

Same size as Bosa. We need the element of power/ violence with that role.....what we just saw Sunday. THAT is what's gonna finally put us over the top. -
Paul Finebaum continues to spend his credibility. I understand being an SEC Homer, but sorry Paul, Texas A&M doesn’t have a better resume than Indiana. Indiana's best win is over 7-1 Oregon on the road by 10 pts. TAM’s best win is at home over 6-2 ND by a pt. indiana’s second best win is also a road win over 6-2 Iowa. TAM’s 2nd best win is over 5-3 LSU also at home. Indiana is 6-0 in conference with a win over 5-3 Ill 63-10 and whose opponents have a 15-17 record. TAM’s 5 conference wins are over teams with a 6-20 conference record including 3 teams that have fired their coaches. Sorry Paul the resume’s aren’t even close.

Yeah but all the articles suggest he's 265-275. He bulked up at Brown to over 300, but cut weight in the pro's. -

Nice comparison. Word association - Bradham- Violent, Williams-Explosive. Williams always pops during games. He stands out for sure -

This is my guess. I don't see Dorian being able to handle the "play like a lineman" part of the Hoecht role. But Solomon yesterday did seem to maybe have the "quick as a linebacker" abilities. But it may have been more surprise than ability for Solomon the other day. We'll see. You have to be a really special guy. Not sure it's on the team at all. -

I know a few people who lived briefly in Buffalo before moving far away, and they are all huge Bills fans. One was a a female doctor who was friends with my Mother. She briefly worked there. She said she did not even like sports, but she could not help but love the Bills after spending time out there. I read an article about Shawne “lights out” Merriman. He said the best thing that ever happened to him was playing for the Bills. He was at the end of his great career, and broken down. But he said it was the best, because how the community treated him, how good Buffalo made him feel. He said every player should get a chance to play for Buff. It’s a special place -

Remember how good Klein looked a few years ago towards the end of the season when we had him in this role? He looked 5 years younger since all he had to do was react and rush through an assigned gap. -

I try to do one home game and one road game a year. I have yet to see anything that rivals a Bills game live in Orchard Park. I’ve not been to every venue, but I know we hold up very well against anyone. When my boys turned 16 I took them from Florida to The Ralph as a rite of passage. I would not have done that in Cincinnati or most NFL cities. That tells you something. Also, the title made me wonder about those Indian burial grounds, so I’ll just go ahead and mention that I hope that was only on that side of Abbot Rd. Like, we’re good (enough) now, right? I hope we can win them over for the effort! .
