  1. Past hour
  2. Ok, you can tell I'm one of those retirees who doesn't know what day it is
  3. I love how weird the Bills social media team is https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FcySkQ3n5/
  4. Cowboys by 30
  5. Yes! Additionally shout out Tabor! He schemed that thing up beautifully and guys executed! I may make a breakdown thread on it. Very nice all around.
  6. Sad…, yet true, it’s hard to imagine what Beane is thinking when the words wide receiver are rambling around in his head, he doesn’t seam to fully grasp what is needed from the position, lol, the odd thing is that he has done well with other positions in the lower draft rounds, frustrating to say the least, GO BILLS!!!
  7. Oops Hopefully the mods will save me from my disorientation
  8. I 100% believe that throw to Hardman was happening no matter what, just to send a message early on. It would have been a completion to Shakir, and maybe he breaks it, but the safety and CB would have let Hardman go the second they saw the ball going to Shakir. Big gain for sure, but at that point in the game I was perfectly fine with the lower-percentage bomb just for the message it sent.
  9. I'm referring to a 3rd round WR drafted same year as Keon that some have stated better than. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsRo02.htm And just because Keon hasn't shown to be the alpha we wanted he still has value as a depth player and he's earning 2nd Round pick the next two season. Play him through his contract. Hell players can improve in year 3 and 4.
  10. I wish it was Thursday night...
  11. I think Poyer's wife would prefer a bigger stage than Buffalo. I agree he would be just the kind of guy to start as a DB coach and move through the ranks.
  12. Lots of Marshawn Kneeland tributes
  13. It was fun to watch. Kudos to the other 10 guys that didn't do anything so blatant that refs were forced to toss the flag. Hopefully, he can keep it up. If he can he just may earn himself a few extra offensive snaps and touches. Another chance for him may be a good thing.
  14. Unless it's 3rd or 4th down and long.
  15. Bald eagles are now found in all 49 states. Not sure about Hawaii? We watch the Eagle Cam at Big Bear Lake in California. There is a successful breeding pair caught on high def cameras. I live on Grand Island, NY now between Lake Erie & Ontario - lots of water and lots of woodlands. We have nesting pairs of bald eagles and more hawks/ospreys than you can shake a stick at. My personal backward count is 47 different now. Also around are trumpeter swans, herons, cormorants and there was even a pelican on Lake Erie last year. Wild turkeys abound. Bird watching is FUN! Bob
  16. I don’t even know who you are referring to. what I do know is that Keon basically has had next to zero competition at the boundary WR position two years running and has fumbled that opportunity massively. He misses a game for bad behavior, which would be a terrible thing even if he was great, and our offense basically doesn’t miss a beat with a one-legged Gabe Davis and an UDFA who wasn’t good enough to make an NFL team last year. I think it’s safe to say he has failed to take advantage of his opportunity here thus far. He’s just lucky that we didn’t draft a 6th round WR who was infinitely better than him like what happened to Elam.
  17. The grief that Davis was receiving earlier in the year was entirely unwarranted, imo. On the very rare occasions when he's had any kind of space whatsoever to operate he's shown more quickness and agility than anybody has been giving him credit for. His biggest problem has been the predictably of Brady's offensive sets and the fact that 90% of the time he touches the ball he's instantly got two guys in his face because half the stadium knows the call. I don't care if your Saqoun Barkley, John Taylor or James Cook; no back can operate like that.
  18. Poyer is not the problem
  19. Our pass rush is not good. We resorted to overloading one side of the line yesterday and completely playing unsound vs the run in obvious passing situations just to ensure we get 1v1s and we still weren’t great winning those. Our interior twist game is awful - as athletic as we are up front we sure do struggle to read and move laterally with our interior guys. Also doesn’t help that we’re playing with tackles at end in obvious passing situations.
  20. I think this guy is on to something.
  21. an exceedingly rare treat for the Bills!
  22. They ran out of virgins to sacrifice
  23. I don't. I think the Bills always saw in Shavers what some people are seeing in him now. They also saw that he had a lot to learn. Finally, they saw a guy who was willing to put in the time, work, and learn. He kept getting better every season. And he kept getting closer to making the roster. I think what we're seeing is McDermott's patience with the guy paying off. What I really like is that Shavers, Palmer, and Davis present big targets to Josh, and I think Josh is comfortable throwing at those targets. He looked different yesterday. The touchdown to Shavers looked very much like several touchdowns. We saw Josh throw to Davis in earlier seasons.
  24. Keon looks mostly clueless on those plays... Davis and Shavers both seemed to excel at that and we already know Shakir does as well.
  25. I'm still mad about that year, my waiver claim got held up in the mail!
