In later years, I have come to the conclusion that my mother and / or brother 'forgetting' that jug of opened sweet cider in the garage was no accident...đ¤đ

I only recently learned that Creed Bratton on the Office was the same Creed Bratton who was the lead singer of the Grassroots.

Game Week thread - Bills at Jets
strive_for_five_guy replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Davis will be fine. He played sparingly in the preseason and then game script last week dictated minimal touches for him. Even Ty only had two touches, just like Ray. Hard to pick up the âtough yardsâ when you only get one handoff, but heâll get his turn when game script dictates it. -
Oh man, memories of my youth on the east side. The local candy shop/five n dime would let gallons of cider ferment out back and they'd sell it to us delinquents. We'd empty a big packet of Wyler's (a competitor of Kool Aid) into that plastic jug and shake it up before we drank it in some alley. We'd all end up throwing that vile concoction up. 𤎠Anything for a cheap high.

Prediction Time The Jets keep it surprisingly close. They are set up for the same read option that gave the Bills fits last week. We freak out about the run D but this time we don't get burned as bad selling out to stop the run. The Jets front is formidable but it looks like the middle isn't as good as the Ravens. I think Shakir has a bounce back and the Bills pick on whoever isn't Sauce. If it becomes a boat race I have much more faith in Allen than Fields. Bills 27 Jets 24 -

This game concerns me. The Jets played damn good football last week, we are down Big Ed,and Allen seems to always have trouble in NJ. Look, the days of jus poo pooing the Jets and Pats are almost past us. Remember, we were a joke to the Pats until we werent. We must dominate the AFCE and win that then HFA. It starts today. -

Iâll be in Nashville for a week coming up fairly soon. Itâs our bye week, and that is not a coincidence. -

To the bold, with rare exceptions, there are always differences in opinions in every relationship including the most intimate in our lives. My wife and I were discussing the Trayvon Martin case one day, and I was telling her how the evidence revealed he was actually physically attacking Zimmerman when he was shot, not to suggest Zimmerman was right, or that the shooting was justified, just to point out that the facts matter in a trial. She wanted nothing to do with that discussion point, perhaps because our boys were younger at the time and it close to home. It hit close to home for me as well, though for different reasons as a father. People misspeak, have bad days, say stupid things, and thatâs before we speak of deceptive editing, gotcha questions, and manipulation. The suggestion that CK spoke of âstoningâ is an example of that, repeated as fact by agenda-driven individuals. The other poster and his thoughts on the grandchildren of others, on the other hand, seems pretty clear. Some people are crazy. -

The only thing better than catching the ball when you (and everyone else) is covered, is catching the ball when youâve made yourself uncovered. Cook isnât doing what he was drafted to do, either, which was to play situationally as a pass receiving back out of the backfield. Allen was drafted to be a franchise quarterbAck and heâs entered the conversation as among the best to play his position. Iâm none too happy with Hawes, who was drafted to be a blocking tight end. Donât even get me started on Brown, Benford and Bernard.
